After viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty, the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr DeFilippi's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing on 3 November up to and including 7 November 2025 (2 days).

Authorisation of 2nd placing was withheld until driver K Cameron (STYLE COUNCIL) placed 4th, had viewed the replays of the run home to ascertain whether there were grounds to lodge a protest. After viewing the replays Mr Cameron elected not to proceed with a protest after it was established that FAREWELL SPIT placed 1st and CARBON placed 2nd, had both shifted ground marginally.

KOTARE KELSO - raced greenly shortly after the start briefly crowding an inside runner. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Raced wide early. Checked and broke late in the run home when TROUBLESHOOTER shifted inwards with the gelding continuing on in a break over the finish line and was lapped on by STANLEY'S RULE. Authorisation of 3rd placing was withheld until Stewards had spoken to driver S Thornley and were satisfied the gelding had been in the incorrect gait at the finish as a result of interference.

A post-race veterinary examination revealed a high respiratory rate and slow recovery. Trainer T Bagrie advised he will have blood tests taken from the mare in the coming days and Stewards will follow up the results.

When questioned regarding the performance driver C Dalgety advised the mare felt unsuited by the prevailing track conditions. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare had suffered an atrial fibrillation. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance including the results of an ECG prior to completing one satisfactory trial before resuming.
