After viewing replays and considering submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $200.

Mrs Tomlinson advised that she does not carry a whip on this runner and after urging the horse with the reins early in the run home it had trotted roughly and she had been reluctant to place the horse under any significant pressure due to the mare breaking on previous occasions in similar circumstances. Stewards noted her comments.

ZHUTEE - checked near the 700m with driver S Tomlinson being dislodged from the sulky with ZHUTEE escaping driverless. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the filly to be uninjured in this incident. Miss Tomlinson was examined by St John personnel and cleared of injury to fulfill her remaining driving engagements.
