B J HUNNICUTT - broke briefly near the 800m when being forced wider on the track by NIKOLAI RAY losing ground. Stewards questioned drivers C Thornley (B J HUNNICUTT) and S Thornley (NIKOLAI RAY) regarding this incident and after hearing from both parties, it was established that both runners had been racing on even terms and jostled for a short distance with neither driver found to be at fault.

This gear was inspected and found to be in previously good condition with Mr Cameron deemed not to be at fault.
