Stewards lodged a protest against 2nd placing being awarded under Rule 870(3) and the Breaking Horses Regulation alleging the gelding had broken in excess of 150m in the early stages. After viewing the replays connections did not contest the protest and HOOF IT HAGRID was disqualified by Stewards.

Stewards lodged a protest against 3rd placing being awarded under Rule 870(5) alleging the gelding was lapped on at the finish by PASTERNAK, CHESTER GOLD and SCHOEMAKER. After viewing the replays driver G O'Reilly did not contest the protest and PLAYOFFS was relegated to 6th placing by Stewards.
