RATTLE MY CAGE - raced greenly in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier manners. Raced greenly when shifting ground outwards near the 950m. Raced roughly near the 300m.

EASTWOOD ADMIRAL - raced erratically in the score up hampering a trailing runner. Had to be steadied approaching the first turn when TUAREG crossed down onto the leader's back. Over-raced middle stages.

EASTWOOD ADMIRAL - slow early then lost contact with the body of the field from the 1500m. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have some swelling in the left nostril. Stood down pending a Veterinary clearance prior to resuming.

When questioned regarding the performance Driver E Johnson could offer no explanation other than the gelding may not have backed up from its run on the first day. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no apparent abnormality other than a minor laceration on the off hind leg.

MAJOR NIGHTMARE - checked by a breaking runner rounding the first turn losing ground. Paced roughly for several strides near the 500m.

MAJOR NIGHTMARE - broke at the start as a result of the near fore hopple loop breaking hampering an outside runner and lost all chance. The gear was inspected and found to be in previously good condition with Trainer B Towers deemed not be at fault.
