Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion prior to resuming.

Junior Driver Z Meredith, assisted by P Ferguson, admitted a charge under Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that he used his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion over the final stages of the run home. After viewing the replays and hearing penalty submissions the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr Meredith's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing tonight up to and including the 17 September 2024 (4 days).

Stewards lodged a protest under Rule 869A(2) against FERNLEIGH CASH's 1st placing alleging interference to AYE AYE CAPTAIN (Driver M White - 2nd place) throughout the run home. After hearing the relative evidence and viewing the replays the Adjudicative Committee dismissed the protest. Junior Driver K Denifostova, assisted by J Dickie, admitted an associated charge under Rule 869(3)(b) in that she drove carelessly in this incident by allowing her gelding to shift out throughout the run home. After hearing submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $400.
