GOTTA GO MIKI - broke near the 150m losing its chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare. Stewards questioned drivers C Hackett (DELIGHTFUL CHIC) and L Hollis (GOTTA GO MIKI) regarding a possible breach of the Push Out Rule near the 1200m. After viewing the replays and hearing evidence from both drivers, Stewards were satisfied that when driver L Hollis shifted outwards, a full run was available to the inside of DELIGHTFUL CHIC, as this runner was already racing in a three-wide position. Consequently, no further action was taken.

When questioned Driver T Mitchell advised that AUCTIONEER had lay in when being steadied to take a trail on ULTIMATE MACH which resulted in the contact occurring. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners.
