DESISTELLA - Trainer Z Butcher was issued a warning for the late notification of fixed deafeners. Broke in the score up hampering a second row runner and was back from position at dispatch. A warning was placed on the filly's barrier manners. Weakened final turn. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a superficial laceration to the near fore heel. Mr Butcher advised that the filly would be placed with Trainer D Butcher for its immediate future racing.

DESISTELLA - over-raced briefly when being restrained near the 1100m after being left without cover when unable to secure the lead. When questioned regarding the performance Trainer/Driver Z Butcher reported that the filly may not have been suited to racing without cover.

DESISTELLA - hampered by a breaking runner near the 1400m and broke losing ground. When questioned Trainer/Driver Z Butcher stated that after losing ground rounding the first turn the filly had been unable to make up much leeway in what was a considerable rise in class.

SPIRITED LOU - held up rounding the final turn before laying out, despite the efforts of Driver S Wigg, contacting the sulky wheel of JAHI and broke losing all chance. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners.

SPIRITED LOU - Driver S Wigg was warned for the manner in which she shifted ground approaching the 1400m which briefly placed BENSON DUDE in restricted room. Ms Wigg was also warned for using her whip with more than a wrist flicking motion early in the run home. When questioned regarding the performance she could offer no explanation for what she considered to be a disappointing effort.

ENZO - broke passing the 500m losing all chance. Stood down to trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion prior to resuming.

ENZO - broke in the score up and was back from position at the candy pole losing ground. Placed on the unruly for future mobile starts. Broke near the 1700m checking a trailing runner losing further ground. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners.

ENZO - jumped on reaching the crossing near the 1500m then broke checking trailing runners losing considerable ground. Broke again near the 900m when trailing the field losing all chance.

ENZO - broke shortly after the start losing all chance. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier manners.

ENZO - paced roughly and lost ground rounding the first turn and trailed the field before breaking near the 750m losing its chance. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.

ENZO - checked by a breaking runner passing the 1200m and broke for several strides. Shifted in passing the 50m briefly placing an inside runner in restricted room.

ENZO - when questioned regarding the performance trainer/driver Z Butcher stated that the gelding had not been suited to having to race without cover from the 1100m. Mr Butcher further stated that although this had not been his preferred option he felt that he was obligated to shift out to the parked position rather than being covered by the improving IMPOSING SEA.
