Stewards lodged a protest under Rule 870(5) against this runner's 3rd placing alleging the gelding was lapped on at the finish line. After hearing submissions on penalty, the Adjudicative Committee imposed a fine of $500. Ms Hanara was also warned for crossing her reins and performing a celebratory gesture late in the run home.
