Driver G Martin admitted a breach of Rule 858(1)(f) in that he failed to come up into position at the start which resulted in interference to another runner. After viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr Martin's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing tonight up to and including 6 June 2025 (2 days).

Driver T Hanara reported that she sustained a punctured sulky tyre near the 500m. It was established that HIGH ENERGY had contacted the wheel when CASTANA shifted in marginally entering the turn. Stewards were satisfied that neither driver were solely at fault and took the matter no further.

Raced over further track markers passing the 100m after becoming awkwardly placed to the sulky of KAIPAKI JACK which had locked sulky stays with AMERICAN MUSCLE. Stewards noted the circumstances and took the matter no further.

Junior Driver M Ranger (assisted by B Hackett) defended a charge under Rule 869(3)(b) in that she drove carelessly racing into the first turn by allowing her gelding to shift inwards when not sufficiently clear resulting in VORONOV (L Chin) being checked and breaking. After hearing the relative evidence and viewing the replays the Adjudicative Committee found the charge proved and suspended Ms Ranger's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing tonight up to and including 4 March 2025 (2 days).
