After viewing the replays and hearing from Junior Driver J Dunn, assisted by R Dunn, Stewards were satisfied BRAVEHEARTHIGHLANDER had over-raced when improving on to the back of JASINOVA resulting in the contact occurring with a warning being placed on the gelding's racing manners.

Dr Chin explained that he had encountered difficulty when attempting to follow THE MOONSTONE which had become fractious and as a result turned into line in a position to the inside of BRAVEHEARTHIGHLANDER which had drawn unruly 1. After considering the matter Stewards extended leniency on this occasion given the circumstances and took the matter no further other than to remind Dr Chin of his obligations.
