Mr Cameron explained that he had been reluctant to release the deafeners earlier as the filly had been trotting roughly and had galloped in similar circumstances at its previous start. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners. Driver L Chin admitted a charge under Rule 869 (3)(b) that he drove carelessly near the 900m when contacting and puncturing the sulky wheel of EYES TO HEAVEN (Driver N Chilcott). After viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee suspended Dr Chin's licence from the conclusion of racing on the 15 August up to and including 28 August 2025 (3 days).

WHATS UP THE HILL - lay in rounding the final turn and early stages of the run home before switching to a pace near the 70m hampering a trailing runner. Stewards lodged a protest against 4th placing being awarded under Rule 870(3) and the Breaking Horses Regulation in that the gelding was not in the correct gait for more than 50m inside the final 200m. Connections did not contest the protest and WHATS UP THE HILL was disqualified by Stewards. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners.
