LITTLE LILY - Driver S Wigg was issued a warning for the manner in which she allowed her runner to shift ground hampering an outside runner rounding the final bend. Ms Wigg was also issued a warning for using her whip when out of contention in the run home.

MUCHACHO - had to be steadied off the back of IT'S NOT KATHY approaching the 1000m resulting in trailing runners being briefly hampered. Lay in approaching the 300m and paced roughly losing ground.

IT'S NOT KATHY - badly hampered by a weakening runner near the 950m then shifted outwards forcing HEAVEN HIGH wider on the track. Stewards questioned Drivers T Cameron (IT'S NOT KATHY) and M Ranger (HEAVEN HIGH) in relation to this incident. It was established that HEAVEN HIGH had lay inwards when IT'S NOT KATHY shifted ground to its inside and overreacted. Notwithstanding this Mr Cameron was advised to exercise greater care when shifting ground in similar circumstances in the future.

GOTTA GO MIKI - placed in restricted room entering the first bend having to be restrained inconveniencing a trailing runner.

SPIRITED BELLE - Driver T Hanara was warned for the manner in which she drove near the 1500m when initially following GOTTA GO MIKI when that runner shifted away from the marker line which resulted in FRANCO SALAH being forced to briefly race wider before SPIRITED BELLE shifted back down.

GOTTA GO MIKI - slow early. Broke rounding the first bend when contesting for a position in the running line with SWEET MAGGIE MAE (K Denifostova), losing ground. After viewing the films and hearing from Driver L Hollis, Stewards established that Ms Denifostova was initially entitled to shift GOTTA GO MIKI down the track, however, SWEET MAGGIE MAE was soon after placed in restricted room to the inside of OLYMPIC KO (S Abernethy), which was hanging inwards, preventing SWEET MAGGIE MAE from relieving the pressure being applied to GOTTA GO MIKI. Given the circumstances, Stewards were unable to apportion blame to any horse or Driver and took the matter no further.

GOTTA GO MIKI - weakened near 400m hampering a trailing runner. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the mare had suffered an atrial fibrillation. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance including the results of an ECG prior to completing one satisfactory trial before resuming.
