MIDFREW LANDO - raced wide early and middle stages before being restrained to the rear near the 1800m. When questioned regarding the performance Driver K Coppins advised that at this stage of its career the gelding does not possess high gate speed and she had not been able to gain a position in the running line in the early stages so had restrained to the rear. Miss Coppins further advised she had elected to improve round to sit parked when the tempo eased in the middle stages and had received every opportunity.

After viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr Sharpe's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing on 23 October up to and including 4 December 2025 (6 weeks).
