TYTATE - raced wide early before being restrained to the rear. Had difficulty obtaining clear running early in the home straight.

TYTATE - commenced to over-race down the back straight the first time before being taking forward to lead near the 1300m. Continued to over-race from the 900m before contacting several track markers near the 750m. When questioned Driver M White advised that he had been placed at a disadvantage with the mare over-racing with Stewards taking the matter no further.

Authorisation of 2nd placing was withheld until Stewards confirmed the mare had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation.
