JASINOVA - refused to take up its position on the front line requiring assistance from a starting attendant causing a delay. A warning was placed on the mare's barrier manners. Hampered by a breaking runner racing into the first turn.

REGAL GIRL - Junior Driver M Ranger, assisted by D Butcher, was warned for the manner in which she drove when contacting several track markers near the 200m before then racing over further track markers when moved inwards by JASINOVA which shifted down into the passing lane. In considering the matter Stewards were satisfied that no unfair advantage had been gained in this incident given that REGAL GIRL lost momentum and then had sufficient room to improve to the inside of JASINOVA approaching the 100m.

Junior Driver T Hanara (assisted by Z Butcher) was questioned regarding this incident and after taking into account that there was a marginal easing of the pace in the running line, Stewards took the matter no further other than to remind Miss Hanara of her obligations.
