MAJOR BREAK - raced wide until crossing to the parked position near the 1450m. Unable to maintain the back of BETA PREPARE near the 750m which enabled SHAKE A LEG to shift down to fill the position. Weakened final turn. Underwent a post-race veterinary examination at the Trainer's request which revealed no abnormality.

SHAKE A LEG - lay in entering and rounding the final turn when improving wide placing inside runners in restricted room.

SHAKE A LEG - Driver M White was shown the replay and reminded of his obligation to ensure he drives his runner out fully over the concluding stages. In considering this matter Stewards took into account Mr White's explanation that the gelding had been doing its best and its chances had not been affected.

RED RACKHAM - shifted out on straightening for the run home but was corrected by Driver D Butcher. Raced in restricted room late in the run home. Cleared from the unruly for future mobile starts.

RED RACKHAM - raced three wide without cover from the 1000m and weakened in the run home. When questioned regarding the performance Driver M White stated that he was disappointed with the gelding's effort and could offer no explanation. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.

RED RACKHAM - paced roughly for several strides at the start. Raced keenly middle stages.

RED RACKHAM - raced three wide near the 1700m after unsuccessfully contesting for a position with T BONE WALKER on the back of MAJOR ACHIEVEMENT in the running line. Raced greenly near the 700m and shifted outwards having to be corrected. Shifted out marginally on straightening for the run home hampering an outside runner. Lay out throughout the home straight.

RED RACKHAM - raced wide early. When questioned regarding the performance Driver Z Meredith stated that the gelding had been unable to make up much ground after getting back in the running.

EXHILARATE - held up early in the run home when attempting to improve to the inside of JAHI in the passing lane.

JAHI - when questioned regarding the performance Trainer/Driver M White advised the gelding had been unable to make up any ground with the fast closing sectionals.

JAHI - held up late in the run home. Driver B Butt was warned for the manner he drove racing into the first bend when crowding an inside runner. Mr Butt advised the gelding had raced greenly on various occasions during the running.

JAHI - hampered by a breaking runner entering the first turn losing ground. Hung outwards in the run home crowding an outside runner. Authorisation of this runner's 3rd placing was withheld until Driver M McKendry confirmed that AYE AYE CAPTAIN's chances of beating JAHI had not been affected.

DEAR GOD - driver F Schumacher reported that he was unable to activate the removable deafeners due to the cord breaking. This gear was inspected and found to have been in good condition.
