Special Conditions
- GOLDEN GAIT 2026
The Golden Gait is a loyalty programme for all horses that race at Alexandra Park in the period from 23rd January 2026 until 18th December 2026. The Golden Gait races will consist of 10 races 5 Pacing and 5 Trotting each for a stake of $50,000. All races are 1609m Mobile Start 12 horses - Preferential Barrier Draw apply refer individual race conditions. Full Series conditions can be found on the HRNZ website. Please Note: If any matter should arise concerning the series which is not covered by these conditions, a determination will be made by the Racing Committee of the Auckland Trotting Club and by the HRNZ Bureau whose decision shall be final. Please Note: A minimum of 6 acceptors are required in order for any Golden Gait Race to be run.
- ONE NOMINATION
Trainers are advised that a horse may only be nominated for One Race at this meeting. Trainers do however have the right to Transfer their horse(s) following the close of Nominations. The Club reserves the right to transfer any horse deemed necessary, unless trainers specify that their horse(s) is NOT to be Transferred.
