For 3yo-&-older trotters. In the event there are nine or less acceptors for this race, the bureau reserves the right to add the out of form 1-win trotters from Race 2 or 3, off a handicap of 30-metres. See special condition No.6

3YO & OLDER FILLIES & MARES R35 TO R40 MOBILE TROT 2000m (Tentative)

For R35 to R40 3yo-&-older trotting fillies & mares. Preferential Barrier Draw Based on: Rating then Winning Stakes numbering sequentially from 1. The winner will get a rating penalty free win if 4YO and older, and driven by a Junior Driver, and has not previously won a rating penalty free race this season. See special condition No.6

For 3 yrs & older pacers with no wins for lifetime. Also 2yo horses with no wins for lifetime with 5 or more starts for lifetime with unplaced(3rd or lower) in the last 3 starts. If sufficient acceptors this race will be split at the discretion of the bureau.

3YO & OLDER R35 TO R50, R51 TO R55 WITH COND. MOBILE PACE 2000m (Tentative)

Of $12000

For R35 to R50 3yo-&-older pacers. Also R51 to R55 3 yrs & older horses if driven by a concession junior driver. This race will be split based on ratings. Preferential Barrier Draws will be used if deemed necessary numbering sequentially from 1. The lowest rating race will be run for $10,000, middle race(s) $11,000 and highest race $12,000.

Special Conditions

  1. RIGHT OF RE-ENTRY TIME

    Shall be 5pm on day before raceday.

  2. ORIGINAL NOMINATIONS

    In the event horses are transferred to another race from the trainer, selection preference will be given to original nominations received for that race.

  3. IMPORTANT NOTICE TO NOMINATORS

    Owners and Trainers are reminded that the bureau has the right to transfer any horse not selected to start in a race for which it was nominated to ANY OTHER RACE ON THE PROGRAMME for which it may be eligible. If you do not wish the bureau to exercise it's right to transfer a particular nominated horse then it is your responsibility as the nominator to advise the bureau of the same.

  4. SPLITTING FIELDS

    In the event any race or races are split on this Programme, unless specific in the individual race conditions, races will be split and selected at the bureau's discretion, with consideration given to Ratings in the first instance.

  5. DUAL ACCEPTORS/NOMINATORS

    In the event that horses have gained a start at another meeting these horses are not guaranteed to gain a start at this meeting.

  6. GOLD CHIP

    For non-win, or up to 1 win trotters for lifetime aged two years and older at the closing of nominations for the Wyndham HRC meeting to be held on Thursday 1st October 2026. Conditions: 1. Open to all trotters aged two years and older that have never won a race (non-winners), or have won one win for lifetime. 2. To be eligible to start in the Gold Chip Championship Trot a horse must start in at least one race or an open trot race run by Southern Harness Racing Clubs (Wyndham HRC, Northern Southland TC, Invercargill HRC, Oamaru HRC, Tuapeka HRC and Winton HRC) in the period from 1st October 2026 through to 8th November 2026. The 'R' rating horses must win their second respective race at one of the Southern Harness meetings to be eligible 3.Field selection for the Gold Chip Championship will operate as follows: Most wins at a Southern Harness Club meeting during that period, most 2nds at a Southern Harness Club meeting during that period, most 3rds at a Southern Harness Club meeting during that period, then Bureau Discretion. 4.The $15000 Gold Chip Championship held on 15th November at the Wyndham HRC meeting and will be raced over 2400m, from a standing start. (non-winners) will start from the front line, R rated horses from a 20 metre handicap.
