NON-WINNERS TROT 2200m

Of $12000 ($6600, $1860, $1140, $720, others $210)

This race will be selected at the discretion of the HRNZ Bureau, in line with the Field Selection Regulations. Consideration will also be given to horses from Race 2 being included off a yet-to-be-determined handicap. See Special Condition No.6

R35 TO R75 DISCRETIONARY HANDICAP TROT 2700m

Of $13000 ($7150, $2015, $1235, $780, others $227.50)

For R35 to R75 trotters. These races will be selected at the discretion of the HRNZ Bureau to create fairness when determining the splits. The lowest rating race will be run for $12,000. See Special Condition No.6.

For 2-year-old pacers. In the event this race is not run those remaining acceptors will become eligible for & transferred to Races 5 & 6. See Special Condition No.6.

NON-WINNERS 3YO & OLDER MOBILE PACE 2200m

Of $12000 ($6600, $1860, $1140, $720, others $210)

For 3yo-&-older pacers. These races will be selected & split at the discretion of the HRNZ Bureau. See Special Condition No.6. In the event Race 4 is not run those remaining acceptors will become eligible for & transferred to these races. See Special Condition No.6.

R35 TO R55 MOBILE PACE 2200m

Of $13000 ($7150, $2015, $1235, $780, others $227.50)

For R35 to R55 pacers. These races will be selected at the discretion of the HRNZ Bureau to create fairness in the overall make-up, where possible. Preferential Barrier Draws will be used if deemed necessary, numbering sequentially from 1. The lowest rating races will be run for $12,000, the highest rating race will be run for $13,000. In the event this Race 10 is not run some or all remaining acceptors may be transferred to this race and conditions altered accordingly.

R50 TO R75 DISCRETIONARY HANDICAP PACE 2700m

Of $13000 ($7150, $2015, $1235, $780, others $227.50)

For R50 to R75 pacers. In the event this race is not run some or all remaining acceptors may be transferred to Race 7 and conditions altered accordingly. See Special Condition No.6.

Special Conditions

  1. RIGHT OF RE-ENTRY TIME

    Shall be 5pm on day before raceday.

  2. ORIGINAL NOMINATIONS

    In the event horses are transferred to another race from the trainer, selection preference will be given to original nominations received for that race.

  3. IMPORTANT NOTICE TO NOMINATORS

    Owners and Trainers are reminded that the bureau has the right to transfer any horse not selected to start in a race for which it was nominated to ANY OTHER RACE ON THE PROGRAMME for which it may be eligible. If you do not wish the bureau to exercise it's right to transfer a particular nominated horse then it is your responsibility as the nominator to advise the bureau of the same.

  4. SPLITTING FIELDS

    In the event any race or races are split on this Programme, unless specific in the individual race conditions, races will be split and selected at the bureau's discretion, with consideration given to Ratings in the first instance.

  5. DUAL ACCEPTORS/NOMINATORS

    In the event that horses have gained a start at another meeting these horses are not guaranteed to gain a start at this meeting.

  6. OPEN NOMINATIONS MEETING

    This meeting is scheduled for 10 races. As an Open Nominations Programme races will be split as & where entries allow. The bureau, in consultation with HRNZ will formulate the fields to be as fair as is practical, taking into account the need to produce optimal betting fields. If a race condition is extended a junior driver concession status may be added to allow those horses into the race.
