R35 TO R80 DISCRETIONARY HANDICAP TROT 2400m (Tentative)

Of $12000

For R35 to R80 trotters. These races will be selected at the discretion of the bureau to create overall fairness when determining the split of these races. The lowest rating race will be run for $10,000. See special condition No.6

NON-WINNERS MOBILE PACE 2400m (Tentative)

If sufficient nominations this race will be selected at the discretion of the bureau. See special condition No.6

R35 TO R55 MOBILE PACE 2400m (Tentative)

Of $11000

For R35 to R55 pacers. These races will be selected at the discretion of the bureau to create fairness in the overall makeup of these races where possible. Preferential Barrier Draws will be used if deemed necessary numbering sequentially from 1. The two lowest race will be run for $10,000. In the event race 9 is not held some or all of those horses will be transferred to this race with a junior driver concession added.

R45 TO R80 DISCRETIONARY HANDICAP PACE 2400m (Tentative)

Of $12000

For R45 to R80 pacers. If this race is not held some or all of these horses will be transferred to race 6 with a junior driver concession added to the event.

Special Conditions

  1. RIGHT OF RE-ENTRY TIME

    Shall be 5pm on day before raceday.

  2. ORIGINAL NOMINATIONS

    In the event horses are transferred to another race from the trainer, selection preference will be given to original nominations received for that race.

  3. IMPORTANT NOTICE TO NOMINATORS

    Owners and Trainers are reminded that the bureau has the right to transfer any horse not selected to start in a race for which it was nominated to ANY OTHER RACE ON THE PROGRAMME for which it may be eligible. If you do not wish the bureau to exercise it's right to transfer a particular nominated horse then it is your responsibility as the nominator to advise the bureau of the same.

  4. SPLITTING FIELDS

    In the event any race or races are split on this Programme, unless specific in the individual race conditions, races will be split and selected at the bureau's discretion, with consideration given to Ratings in the first instance.

  5. DUAL ACCEPTORS/NOMINATORS

    In the event that horses have gained a start at another meeting these horses are not guaranteed to gain a start at this meeting.

  6. OPEN NOMINATIONS MEETING

    This meeting is scheduled for 9 races. As an Open Nominations Programme races will be split as & where entries allow. The bureau, in consultation with HRNZ will formulate the fields to be as fair as is practical, taking into account the need to produce optimal betting fields. If a race condition is extended a junior driver concession status may be added to allow those horses into the race.
