NON-WINNERS TROT 2400m

Of $12000 ($6600, $1860, $1140, $720, others $210)

The club reserves the right to include any 1-win or R35-R45 3YO or 4YO and older trotters that are balloted, eliminated or not eligible for the Winter Rewards races. Race conditions and handicaps will be determined at acceptance time.

4YO & OLDER R35 TO R50 SPECIAL HANDICAP TROT 2400m

WINTER REWARDS HANDICAP TROTS

Of $25000 ($13750, $3875, $2375, $1500, others $437.50)

For R35 to R50 4yo-&-older trotters. Front: R35 to R40. 10m: R41 to R45. 20m: R46 to R50. 30m: R51- R55, 40m R56 & Faster. Horses eligible for this race will be 4YO & Older and rated up to R50 as at 30th April 2026. The top 28 ranked trotters nominated will be selected then split into fields, based on ratings. PLEASE NOTE: Horses that ascend to a rating above R50 during the qualifying period remain eligible. 3YO+ UP TO & INCLUDING R50, R51 TO R55 WITH COND. MOB. ... 1609m

Of $12000 ($6600, $1860, $1140, $720, others $210)

For up to & including R50 3yo-&-older pacers. Also R51 to R55 if driven by a concession junior driver. If sufficient entries are received this race will be split based on ratings and conditions, meaning a higher rated 1-win pacer may be included in a lower rating race. Preferential Barrier Draws will be used if deemed necessary numbering sequentially from 1. PLEASE NOTE: Selection Preference in the first instance will be given to horses that are NOT in the Top 42 2026 South Of The Waitaki Winter Rewards Pacing Qualifiers.

4YO & OLDER R35 TO R50 MOBILE PACE 2400m

WINTER REWARDS MOBILE PACES

Of $25000 ($13750, $3875, $2375, $1500, others $437.50)

For R35 to R50 4yo-&-older pacers. Preferential Barrier Draw Based on: Rating then Winning Stakes numbering sequentially from 1. Horses eligible for this race will be 4YO & Older and rated up to and including R50 as at 29th April 2026. The top ranked 42 pacers nominated will be selected then split into fields, based on ratings. PLEASE NOTE: Horses that ascend to a rating above R50 during the qualifying period remain eligible. Special Conditions

  1. RIGHT OF RE-ENTRY TIME

    Shall be 5pm on day before raceday.

  2. ORIGINAL NOMINATIONS

    In the event horses are transferred to another race from the trainer, selection preference will be given to original nominations received for that race.

  3. IMPORTANT NOTICE TO NOMINATORS

    Owners and Trainers are reminded that the bureau has the right to transfer any horse not selected to start in a race for which it was nominated to ANY OTHER RACE ON THE PROGRAMME for which it may be eligible. If you do not wish the bureau to exercise it's right to transfer a particular nominated horse then it is your responsibility as the nominator to advise the bureau of the same.

  4. SPLITTING FIELDS

    In the event any race or races are split on this Programme, unless specific in the individual race conditions, races will be split and selected at the bureau's discretion, with consideration given to Ratings in the first instance.

  5. DUAL ACCEPTORS/NOMINATORS

    In the event that horses have gained a start at another meeting these horses are not guaranteed to gain a start at this meeting.
