Preferential Barrier Draws will be used if deemed necessary numbering sequentially from 1. The two lowest races have a stake of $17,000, highest race $20,000. This race will be selected highest to lowest.

R50 TO R120 SPECIAL HANDICAP PACE 2700m

REGENT CAR COURT SOUTHERN CUPS FINAL

Of $40000 ($22000 plus trophy, dress rug and gift box, $6200, $3800, $2400, others $700)

For R50 to R120 pacers. Front: R50 to R65. 10m: R66 to R75. 20m: R76 to R85. 30m: R86 to R99. 40m: R100 to R120. This is the final of the qualifying races held. To be eligible for the final you must start in at least two heats (view the Southern Harness Racing website). Selection for the final will be based on points (highest to lowest)

Special Conditions

  1. RIGHT OF RE-ENTRY TIME

    Shall be 5pm on day before raceday.

  2. ORIGINAL NOMINATIONS

    In the event horses are transferred to another race from the trainer, selection preference will be given to original nominations received for that race.

  3. IMPORTANT NOTICE TO NOMINATORS

    Owners and Trainers are reminded that the bureau has the right to transfer any horse not selected to start in a race for which it was nominated to ANY OTHER RACE ON THE PROGRAMME for which it may be eligible. If you do not wish the bureau to exercise it's right to transfer a particular nominated horse then it is your responsibility as the nominator to advise the bureau of the same.

  4. SPLITTING FIELDS

    In the event any race or races are split on this Programme, unless specific in the individual race conditions, races will be split and selected at the bureau's discretion, with consideration given to Ratings in the first instance.

  5. DUAL ACCEPTORS/NOMINATORS

    In the event that horses have gained a start at another meeting these horses are not guaranteed to gain a start at this meeting.
