For R40 to R69 pacers. Preferential Barrier Draw Based on: Rating numbering sequentially from 1. This race will be split based on ratings. Preferential Barrier Draws will be used if deemed necessary numbering sequentially from 1. Selection preference in the first instance will be for R40-R69 4yo and older colts and geldings, mares R56-R69 and 3YO colts and geldings not eligible for the Sires Stakes Southern Solstice race. In the likelihood races 6,7 and 9 are full eliminated horses or non acceptors will become eligible for this race and conditions changed to accommodation those horses and then become eligible. In the event Races 4 or 5 are not run (2yo's), those remaining race-winning acceptors will become eligible and transferred to this race. This race will be selected on ratings, highest to lowest.

Of $100000 ($55000 plus trophy, dress rug, flower garland and gift box, $15500, $9000, $5250, $3000, others $1750)
For R70 to R120 pacers. Front: R70 to R90. 10m: R91 to R110. 20m: R111 to R120. PLEASE NOTE: A $300 Ascot Park Hotel/ILT voucher will be given to the trainer of every horse that starts in this race. A $10,000 (HRNZ) Bonus will be given to owners if a mare wins the Cup. Also a $10,000 (HRNZ) Bonus will be given if a 4yo competes in the $125k The Christian Cullen Addington Feature run on 21st November and runs in the first three placings in the Cup (one payment only for the first one past the past in the first 3 placings)

Shall be 5pm on day before raceday.
- ORIGINAL NOMINATIONS
In the event horses are transferred to another race from the trainer, selection preference will be given to original nominations received for that race.
- IMPORTANT NOTICE TO NOMINATORS
Owners and Trainers are reminded that the bureau has the right to transfer any horse not selected to start in a race for which it was nominated to ANY OTHER RACE ON THE PROGRAMME for which it may be eligible. If you do not wish the bureau to exercise it's right to transfer a particular nominated horse then it is your responsibility as the nominator to advise the bureau of the same.
- SPLITTING FIELDS
In the event any race or races are split on this Programme, unless specific in the individual race conditions, races will be split and selected at the club's discretion, with consideration given to Ratings in the first instance.
- DUAL ACCEPTORS/NOMINATORS
In the event that horses have gained a start at another meeting these horses are not guaranteed to gain a start at this meeting.
