Nominations have closed. No late Nominations will be permitted to transfer from the race that they have nominated for, unless the club requires it. Selection Preference will go to eligible horses Nominated at the original closing time (Except in the case of Non-Win races, where Field Selection Regulations take precedence). Withdrawals close today at 2.00pm. PLEASE NOTE: Winter Rewards Trotting races provisionally will be split as follows: R35-R45, R46 to R58. Provisionally, currently outside pacing fields first reserve Elite Styx, second reserve Patiro.

2025 NORTH OF THE WAITAKI WINTER REWARDS HANDICAP TROTS

Of $25000 ($13750, $3875, $2375, $1500, others $437.50)

For R35 to R58 4yo-&-older trotters. Front: R35 to R40. 10m: R41 to R45. 20m: R46 to R50. 30m: R51 to R57. 40m: R58. To be eligible for these Races a Horse had to be Four-Year-Old & Older and Rated no faster than R57 as at 30th April 2025, and have had a minimum of Three (3) Race Day qualifying Starts at a venue based from North of the Waitaki River to the top of the South Island, in the period from 1st of May 2025 up to and including the 20th of July 2025. The Horses selected to start in these Races will be the first Thirty Two (32) Horses that hold a Nomination on points earned in the qualifying period (highest to lowest), then split on Ratings. (Please Note: A Horse that's Rating ascends above R57 within the qualifying period is still eligible for these Races). A Horse that has met the selection criteria for these Races must still be nominated for these Races with the HRNZ Bureau.
