MAJOR JAY - broke near the 1750m when struck by a dislodged track marker losing ground, then raced three wide for a distance before unsuccessfully contesting the parked position which was being held by THE ARTFUL GAMBLER. Shifted in when Driver T Herlihy activated the deafeners approaching the 1000m placing an inside runner in restricted room briefly. Eased to the rear racing down the back the final time and then weakened. Declared a non-runner under Rule 213(1)(k) due to the unfair external influence when struck by the dislodged track marker.

FREEDOM DASH - unable to hold the back of BELL FIRE passing the 1600m which enabled IMA SPORTYANGEL to shift down to fill the position.

IMA SPORTYANGEL - lay out during the middle stages before shifting up the track near the 900m despite the efforts of Driver P Ferguson hampering several runners. Continued to shift out racing down the back the final time when at the rear. A warning was placed on the mare's racing manners. Mr Ferguson advised he will be recommending gear changes.

DELIGHTFUL REALITY - lay in near the 1250m contacting track markers. When questioned regarding the performance Driver M McKendry stated that he elected to improve to race without cover near the 1000m to put the filly into the race but had only battled over the final stages.

DELIGHTFUL REALITY - Connections advised Stewards on 4 December that the filly has had her knees and fetlocks treated since having last raced.

DOM TORETTO - raced wide early. Broke near the 1800m but soon settled. Broke again near the 450m losing its chance. A warning was placed on the colt's racing manners.

DOM TORETTO - held up throughout the run home with Driver T Mitchell not activating the deafeners as a result.

DOM TORETTO - slow to leave the pre-race formation then broke briefly but was in position prior to the candy pole.

DOM TORETTO - raced in restricted room shortly after the start when crowded by an outside runner. Raced wide early.

DOM TORETTO - hampered by a breaking runner shortly after the start. Over-raced through the middle stages. Paced roughly final bend. Had some difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the run home. Driver C Alford reported that the removable deafeners did not activate despite his efforts.
