Driver C Ferguson admitted a breach of Rule 869(2) and the Whip and Rein Regulations in that he used his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion in the run home. After viewing the replays and hearing submissions on penalty the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr Ferguson's Driver's licence from the conclusion of racing on 30 March up to and including 13 April 2024 (7 days).

A post-race veterinary examination revealed a high heart rate and slow recovery. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.

A post-race Veterinary examination at the request of connections revealed no obvious abnormalities. Trainer C Barron reported he would have a further Veterinary examination conducted on the filly in the coming days and undertook to advise Stewards of the findings.

POST PAINTER - when questioned regarding the performance trainer/driver R Close advised he was not disappointed and the filly will derive benefit from its first up run. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.

Continued to race greenly near the 1000m hampering trailing runners. A warning was placed on the racing record of the filly.
