PETRONELLI GEE - weakened from the 700m. A post-race Veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormality. Stewards will follow up with Trainer A Milne in the coming days.

PETRONELLI GEE - weakened rounding the final bend. When questioned regarding the performance driver W House advised the gelding failed to handle the track conditions.

JORDAN ANNE - locked wheels with PETRONELLI GEE passing the 700m losing all chance. Driver M Williamson admitted a breach of Rule 869(3)(b) in that he drove carelessly near the 700m when attempting to shift ground inwards to move PETRONELLI GEE down into the running line resulting in both runners locking wheels and losing all chance. After viewing the replays and hearing penalty submissions the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr Williamson's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing on 10 April up to and including 16 April 2023 (3 days).

GRANNY ROSE - trainer M Williamson was issued a warning for failing to have mudguards affixed to his sulky. Broke at the start losing ground. Authorisation of 3rd placing was withheld until Stewards confirmed the gelding had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation in the early stages.
