Driver M McKendry admitted a breach of Rule 869(3)(b) in that he drove carelessly near the 500m when shifting ground outwards resulting in CROWN THE MOMENT being checked with the trailing IT AIN'T ME BABE also being checked. After viewing the replays and hearing penalty submissions the Adjudicative Committee suspended Mr McKendry's driver's licence from the conclusion of racing on 26 May up to and including 29 June 2023 (5 days).

It was established that Driver T Herlihy (LUBY LILL) had commenced his outward movement prior to SANS AU REVOIR reaching his sulky wheel and no further action was deemed necessary.

Driver T Mitchell was issued a warning for contacting a track marker near the 200m when activating gear. When questioned regarding the performance Mr Mitchell advised the filly had raced keenly during the running but had disappointed over the final stages. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality.
