Trainer B Hope advised Stewards on 28 March that blood tests taken from REFINE following its last start have revealed no abnormalities with the mare continuing with its current preparation.
Race 8 - FIRST DIRECT TAXIS MOBILE PACE
Trainer M Purvis advised Stewards on 29 March that WILL HE ROCK and all other horses in his stable have been treated for a cold since last racing.

Race 1   IRT. YOUR HORSE. OUR PASSION. MOBILE PACE
TREASURE TRAIL - swung around early in the score up after having initially commenced to follow the mobile losing its chance and was retired from the race. A warning was placed on the filly's mobile barrier manners. Placed on the unruly for future mobile starts at the trainer's request.
AMELIA ROSE - unable to maintain its position on the mobile late in the score up despite the efforts of its driver and was back a length at dispatch. A warning was placed on the filly's mobile barrier manners. Lay out rounding the home turn briefly placing an outside runner in restricted room.
WATCH THAT MAN - held up briefly leaving the final turn.
HEY TONIGHT - Trainer B Ward was issued a warning for not having the correct colours available.
KILLARNEY DANCE - raced greenly at various stages. Became awkwardly placed and struck the wheel of MACY BLACK near the 400 metres. Paced roughly rounding the final turn.
MACY BLACK - sulky wheel contacted by KILLARNEY DANCE near the 400 metres. Placed in restricted room briefly early in the run home.
BETTOR BE SHARP - inconvenienced early in the score up and broke briefly however was in position at the start. Raced wide early and middle stages.
Race 2   CHEVRON QUALITY CARS TROT
HOT TO TROT - broke at the start losing its chance and was retired from the race.
NAVARA - fractious prior to the start causing a delay. A warning was placed on the gelding's standing start manners.
CODY BANNER - raced wide early. Trotted roughly throughout the run home and could not be driven out.
SALVO - over-raced middle stages. Trotted roughly near the 900 metres when attempting to shift outwards. Lay in leaving the back straight the final time.
SHANDON BELLS - raced wide early.
SKY HIGH FLYER - trotted roughly entering the back straight the first time which enabled LIGHT OF DA MOON to shift down onto the back of CODY BANNER. Continued to trot roughly and in particular when weakening on the final turn.
ESCARGO - broke shortly after the start losing considerable ground.
SODS LAW - broke at the start losing all chance.
HEAVENLY STRINGS - Trainer J Gameson was warned for being late to notify the mare would be racing with half hopples.
RACHMANINOV - fractious prior to the start causing a delay. A warning was placed on the gelding's standing start manners.
MARTHA STUART - broke near the 2200 metres losing all chance.
LIGHT OF DA MOON - Trainer R Holmes was warned for being late to notify the mare would be racing with half hopples. Raced wide early.
Race 3   THE TYRE GENERAL FILLIES & MARES MOBILE PACE
ARDEN'S DELIGHT - held up throughout the run home.
JOES ROCK - T Chmiel was an authorised late driver change replacing N Williamson due to a flight delay. Lay out shortly after the start when being eased. Continued to lay out at various stages. When questioned regarding the performance Driver T Chmiel could offer no tangible reason for the disappointing run. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a slow recovery. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
KERRI MAGUIRE - over-raced middle stages.
SOUNDSOFCASH - over-raced middle stages when outside the leader.
CHEEZEL - held up late in the run home.
Connections advised Stewards on 6 April that JOES ROCK has been treated for a virus since last racing and the filly will continue with its current preparation.
Race 4   HRS CONSTRUCTION PACE
BLUE ON BLACK - held up middle stages of the run home.
BAILEYS PITCH - broke at the start losing considerable ground. Held up late in the run home.
PAYTONS ROCK - broke at the start losing considerable ground. Held up over the final stages with Driver B Orange advising he had not activated the removable deafeners as a result.
RODASI - hampered at the start by a breaking runner.
RIMU VALLEY - late scratching at 11.06am on Veterinary advice.
SWIFT GUY - raced wide for some distance during the middle stages.
MISTER BLUE SKY - when questioned regarding the improved performance Trainer B Ward stated the gelding had been steadily improving with recent racing.
RAKERO STORM - raced wide early. When asked to comment on the horse's performance Driver G Smith reported the filly had worked hard in the early part of the race which had taken a toll over the concluding stages. Mr Smith added he believed the filly would derive considerable benefit from what was its first race day start.
Race 5   FAULKS INVESTMENTS MOBILE PACE
ARTATAC - held up rounding the final turn.
HIMSELF - held up early in the run home.
DARLING ME - over-raced when being restrained in the early stages and became awkwardly placed close to the sulky wheel of HEZA SPORT near the 2300 metres.
LIFES A BEACH - Driver J Morrison was questioned regarding the manner in which he drove entering the home straight when attempting to shift ground to the inside of MR PERFECT. Mr Morrison stated that he had been in a position to shift MR PERFECT wider and felt that runner was laying in and not accommodating his shift so he had applied pressure with his arm to MR PERFECT's sulky to prevent contact being made. Mr Morrison's explanation was accepted on this occasion, however, he was reminded of his obligations to give runners sufficient room when shifting ground in similar circumstances.
SERG BLANCO - broke briefly passing the 2200 metres when contesting a position in the running line with DARLING ME. Stewards were satisfied that neither driver was at fault and took no further action other than to note the circumstances.
Race 6   LAMB & HAYWARD TROTTERS CLASSIC (HCP TROT)
FIVE WISE MEN - broke at the start losing considerable ground. Authorisation of 4th placing was withheld until Stewards confirmed the gelding had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation when in the early break.
MATADEROS - fractious prior to the start and charged the tape despite the efforts of Driver B Orange. A warning was placed on the gelding's standing start manners. Broke at the start and trailed the field throughout.
MIDNIGHT DASH - broke near the 350 metres losing its chance.
Race 7   FAHEY FENCE HIRE FREE-FOR-ALL (MOBILE PACE)
ALTA WISEGUY - lay in and contacted track markers rounding the final turn.
CRANBOURNE - Driver M Williamson reported he had not activated the sliding blinds when having the field covered.
BETTOR TWIST - raced wide early.
A G'S WHITE SOCKS - placed in restricted room when held up late in the run home.
Race 8   GARRARDS HORSE & HOUND HANDICAP TROT
RESOLVE - broke near the 2200 metres and settled at the rear.
BOYZ INVASION - began awkwardly. Held up in the early and middle stages of the run home.
QUIK SHOT - raced wide early.
RED HARBOUR - over-raced middle stages. Driver C DeFilippi had difficulty activating the deafeners in the run home.
PEREGRINE - shifted inwards on straightening for the run home. Driver N Williamson was warned to ensure he maintains a straight course in the home straight in future.
HIGHGROVE - held up early in the run home.
Race 9   LANSON BLACK LABEL CHAMPAGNE MOBILE PACE
MIGHTY REACTOR - paced roughly over the concluding stages.
LOCHART SHARD - when spoken to regarding the performance Driver N Rasmussen stated she was disappointed with the run and blood tests would be taken in the coming days which Stewards will follow up on.
REGGIE GOLIGHTLY - raced wide early. Over-raced middle stages.
R K FINN - raced wide early and middle stages before being restrained to the rear. Hung inwards and struck track markers on the final bend.
OFF THE EDGE - raced wide early before being restrained to the rear.
STEPHS BOY - Driver B Orange advised a sulky tyre deflated during the running.
WAVETHEBILL - had difficulty obtaining a clear run over the concluding stages.
Connections advised Stewards on 6 April that LOCHART SHARD has been treated for a virus since last racing.
Race 10   FIRST DIRECT TAXIS PACE
DANNEMORA - broke at the start. A warning was placed on the filly's standing start manners. Paced roughly and lost ground near the 600 metres. Held up over the concluding stages.
TIGER TAYLOR - held up final turn and early stages of the run home.
JUSTACE - broke at the start. A warning was placed on the gelding's standing start manners.
OUTAMYWAY - lay inwards when weakening rounding the final turn and contacted track markers. When questioned regarding the performance Driver B Butt advised he was disappointed with the run which he could only attribute to working hard over the early stages to obtain the lead.
WOODLEA DIEGO - lay outwards in the run home.
NOT OVER - fractious prior to the start and broke as the start was effected losing ground before settling.
TEDS LEGACY - raced wide without cover from the 1050 metres.
SELSEY BILL - late scratching at 10.32am after being sold.
HERE'S HERBIE - lay inwards in the run home and had to be corrected.
