Race 9 - QUIZ NIGHT EVERY WEDNESDAY IN THE ALEX MOBILE PACE
CLASSY OPERATOR - Stable representative D Ferguson advised Stewards on the 21st May that the colt had been treated for dehydration and will continue with his preparation.

Race 8 - WOODLANDS STUD HANDICAP TROT
Trainer R Paynter advised Stewards on 27 May that AS FREE AS AIR has recovered well following its tough run at Cambridge last week and will continue with its current preparation.

Race 3 - LONE STAR SIRES' STAKES 2YO TROT CHAMPIONSHIP (MOBILE TROT)
Co-Trainer J Teaz advised Stewards on 27 May that EMMA JOY has been treated for dehydration following its performance at Addington last week. Mr Teaz added that blood tests taken today have revealed no abnormalities with the filly continuing with her Harness Jewels campaign.

Race 6 - METALCRAFT ROOFING MOBILE PACE
The adjourned inquiry was reconvened at tonight's meeting. Driver F Schumacher (IMELDA MAY) admitted a charge under Rule 869(3)(b) on the grounds of careless driving causing interference to I EXPECT BETTOR (A Poutama) entering the first turn. After hearing submissions on penalty the JCA suspended Mr Schumacher's Driver's licence up to and including the 18th June 2021 (3 days).

Race 1   THE ALEX BAR & EATERY TROT
SAINT MICHEL - unable to secure clear running throughout the home straight.
MAJESTIC PRINCESS - lay out rounding the turn near the 900 metres.
HILL OF PEACE - trotted roughly shortly after the start. Broke approaching the 1900 metres and trailed the field.
SUPERFAST NINJA - when questioned regarding the improved performance Trainer/Driver A Drake stated that the mare had been working well leading into tonight's event and was unlucky two starts ago before missing away at its last start losing all chance.
ASTERIA LAVRA - broke near the 1500 metres losing considerable ground before settling. Broke under pressure near the 150 metres. A warning was placed on the mare's racing manners.
ALDEBARAN FLAME - broke near the 250 metres losing its chance.
CEPHEUS - broke under pressure near the 150 metres.
MANCHESTER'S ECLIPSE - slow early. Lay in rounding the turns.
Race 2   BELL SCAFFOLDING MOBILE PACE
PLATINUM - raced keenly middle stages when leading. When questioned regarding the performance Driver T Cameron stated that the midrace pressure had taken its toll in what was the filly's first race for seven months. Mr Cameron was also spoken to advisedly regarding the manner in which he drove entering the home straight.
EDAMFAST - weakened in the run home.
CHALBERG - commenced to give ground approaching the 400 metres. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing performance.
LITTLE SUZIE - commenced to give ground approaching the 400 metres. When questioned Driver D Butcher stated that the filly had raced keenly during the middle stages before being allowed to roll forward and race on terms with the leader PLATINUM but had then dropped the bit and shown little thereafter. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality. A warning was placed against the filly's racing performance. Co-Trainer S Telfer advised that LITTLE SUZIE will be turned out for a spell.
Race 3   H R FISKEN & SONS HANDICAP TROT
MOLLY BELLE - broke shortly after the start losing all chance.
HESTON HALL - broke passing the 300 metres and continued on in a gallop to the finish line despite the efforts of its driver.
KELVINZ LUCK - briefly inconvenienced by a breaking runner passing the 300 metres.
KIWITRIX - Trainer N Williamson was cautioned for failing to have the correct colours available.
LIAISON - Driver D Butcher was questioned regarding the manner in which he drove racing through and leaving the front straight to receive the bell when appearing to half cart for some strides. Mr Butcher explained that LIAISON tends to lay out in the straights and in on the bends and that this had been the case again on this occasion. Mr Butcher's explanation was supported by the replays and Stewards took the matter no further other than to note his comments.
Race 4   SOPHIE MORRISON 21ST BIRTHDAY MOB PACE
MARATHON MAN - Driver C Hackett, assisted by S Phelan, was shown the replay and was spoken to advisedly in regard to the manner in which she used her whip in the middle stages of the run home.
BETTOR LISTEN - raced three wide without cover from the 1200 metes. When questioned regarding his tactics Driver N Delany stated that it had been his intention to work around to race outside the leader as BETTOR LISTEN tended to be one paced and had raced well when driven in this manner previously. However he had been unable to secure the parked position which was being held by CHRIS KYLE and was obliged to remain three wide for the remainder of the event.
BET WEST - held up early and then locked wheels with CHRIS KYLE early in the run home.
CHRIS KYLE - locked wheels with BET WEST early in the run home.
HAPPY PLACE - over-raced middle stages. Held up early and then checked near the 200 metres when having to take evasion action.
Race 5   DAYAVEG MOBILE PACE
HESASHORETHING - over-raced middle stages. Dislodged a marker peg on the home turn when racing in restricted room to the inside of MURPHYS REWARD.
KEISHA - lay out badly from the middle stages and proved difficult for Driver J Dunn before losing ground rounding the final turn to finish at the rear. Mr Dunn advised that the filly had commenced to hang after handing up the lead near the 1600 metres and that corrective gear changes will be made prior to resuming. A warning was placed on the racing manners of KEISHA. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality.
SETTLE PETAL - raced three wide early and briefly locked wheels with MR PERFECT near the 1900 metres before being restrained to the rear.
MR PERFECT - locked wheels briefly with SETTLE PETAL near the 1900 metres.
LORD VERDE - when questioned regarding the performance Trainer/Driver T Herlihy stated that the gelding had got too far back after having to be eased to the rear entering the first turn due to the early speed to its inside.
EZANA - raced three wide early before improving to lead near the 1600 metres.
MEETMEINSORRENTO - when questioned regarding the performance Driver D Ferguson stated that he was disappointed with the run and felt that the gelding was better suited when racing on the pace.
Race 6   DAILY FREIGHT MOBILE PACE
ONCE BITTEN - raced greenly when clear in the lead in the run home. Connections advised that the filly cast its off fore shoe during the running.
JODI - raced four wide from the 700 metres then weakened in the run home.
MAGIC THOMPSON - raced three wide early before being restrained to the rear.
WHOOSHKA - held up throughout the home straight and was unable to obtain clear running.
CHEVRON ART - improved around three wide to race outside the leader near the 1000 metres before being run down into 5th place beaten 3.5 lengths. When questioned Driver B Orange stated he was not disappointed with the performance as the gelding was best suited when able to be driven with a sit, however circumstances had not allowed that in tonight's event.
Race 7   POWELL TRANSPORT 43rd NI BREEDERS STAKES MOBILE PACE
CASHLODO FLYBYE - lay in and contacted several marker pegs near the 1250 metres.
LITTLE MISS PERFECT - led up before being headed near the 500 metres and weakened over the final stages to finish at the rear beaten 28 lengths. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality. When questioned Driver J Dunn stated that he could offer no explanation for the disappointing performance even taking into the account that the mare was better driven with a sit. Stewards will follow up regarding the recovery in the coming days.
MIMI E COCO - raced keenly middle stages when outside the leader.
COMMANDER CATHY - raced keenly middle stages. Held up early final turn.
Stable representative J Dunn advised Stewards on 2 June that blood tests taken from LITTLE MISS PERFECT revealed no abnormalities with the mare continuing with her current preparation.
Race 8   PRIMOR PRODUCE MOBILE PACE
BAD TO THE BONE - when questioned Driver Z Butcher advised that he had elected to restrain early due to the inside speed and had then received cover on the back of WARLOCH from the 600 metres but had been unable to make up much ground in the run home due to the final quarter being run in 26.6 seconds.
KRUG - when questioned Driver B Orange stated that after having been left without cover early he had elected to restrain to the rear as he felt that the lead, which was being held by DANCE TIME, would not have been available had he pressed on forward. Mr Orange further stated that he had then followed BAD TO THE BONE when that runner shifted out near the 800 metres as he expected the gelding to take him into the race however WARLOCH had then improved out in front of BAD TO THE BONE, which placed him one position further back, before the tempo increased markedly passing the 400 metres.
Race 9   NZ ONION CO HANDICAP TROT
SILVER POWER - raced clear in the lead throughout the early and middle stages.
FORGET THE PRICE TAG - slow early. Driver A Harrison was warned for the manner in which she shifted ground outwards entering the run home which saw KAY CEE hampered when placed in restricted room.
INVICTUS - held up early final turn.
CREDIT MASTER - approval was given for Driver N Williamson to race in M White's colours.
WOODSTONE - raced without cover throughout before weakening on the final turn. When questioned Driver J Dunn could offer no explanation for the disappointing performance and advised that blood will be taken from all stable runners that performed poorly tonight while undertaking to advise Stewards accordingly. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality.
KAY CEE - hampered when placed in restricted room near the 200 metres.
Stable representative J Dunn advised Stewards on 2 June that blood tests taken from WOODSTONE revealed no abnormalities with the gelding continuing with his current preparation.
Race 10   FRANKLIN LONG ROOFING MOBILE PACE
LOUIE THE PUNTER - over-raced middle stages when trailing the leader. Gave ground final turn. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality.
COMIC BOOK HERO - gave ground near the 500 metres.
Race 11   BUS TO THE IRT HARNESS JEWELS FROM ALEXANDRA PARK TROT
TRUE BELIEVER - broke shortly after the start losing considerable ground.
MOCCA FRANCY - broke near the 1900 metres but soon settled. Broke again shortly after and settled at the rear.
SOLEDAD - broke at the start losing its chance.
WILLIS GRAHAM - Stewards viewed replays of the start and were satisfied that this runner was in its correct unruly position when the barrier was released.
