Stewards questioned driver J Buckland-Stevens regarding the tactics she adopted near the 500 metres when shifting ground outwards onto the back of ALLANDALE which had raced three-wide throughout and subsequently weakened resulting in SENORITA MARGARITA then becoming held up for some distance. Miss Buckland-Stevens advised that due to her mare over-racing she opted to shift outwards to avoid having to race in tight quarters. Stewards advised Miss Buckland-Stevens that in future better decision making whilst selecting a course of action would be expected. | |
ALLANDALE - raced three-wide throughout and was unable to cross to the parked position in the middle stages due to the parked horse over-racing. Weakened rounding the final bend. | |
