Race 1   SWEET LOU 'THE EMERGING SIRE' FILLIES & MARES MOBILE PACE
SWEDISH STARLET - driver B Barclay reported the filly had hung throughout. Returned to the stabling area showing signs of lameness with a Veterinary examination revealing a pedal bone injury to the near front leg. Connections were advised a Veterinary clearance would be required prior to SWEDISH STARLET racing again.
SKIDADDLE - over-raced through the early and middle stages.
PARADISE VALLEY - weakened from the 800 metres. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed the mare to have a poor recovery. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
ARIZONA DOLL - raced wide in the early stages. Hung inwards near the 900 metres and was briefly hampered when shifted wider on the track by inside runner.
MONEY HONEY - raced wide early stages.
ADHARA - hung inwards in the home straight.
JAFFIE J - over-raced through the middle stages.
KENNINGTON GIRL - connections advised the mare would be racing in season. Broke in the score-up losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
Race 2   LATHER UP 'FASTEST HORSE IN WORLD' MOBILE PACE
CHANGEAROUND - held up rounding the final bend. Driver K Tomlinson was spoken to advisedly to break up her use of the whip with alternative actions.
MAJOR MENACE - raced wide without cover from the 1300 metres.
CALICO HILL - driver J Morrison was spoken to advisedly for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion.
FIREFOREFIDDLE - over-raced in the middle stages. Weakened rounding the final bend.
IWANADANCEWITSUMBODY - raced wide in the early stages. Paced roughly when held up rounding the final bend and in the early stages of the run home.
FRANCO JUNE - paced roughly then broke in the score-up, losing some ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Hung inwards rounding the final bend when weakening, striking several track markers.
THE NIGHT WATCHMAN - raced four-wide without cover from the 950 metres.
ALEXY - held up rounding the final bend. Driver K Barclay encountered difficulty in releasing the deafeners early in
the run home.
Race 3   WHAT THE HILL 'WELL BRED TROTTING SENSATION' TROT
HARRY H - driver J Morrison was warned for the manner he drove near the 1750 metres when briefly forcing outside runner wider on the track.
CUDDLY TROUBLE - over-raced for a distance passing the 1700 metres when being restrained, then continued to over-race through the middle stages.
HELLUVA WAY - broke shortly after the start. Hampered by a breaking runner rounding the first bend. Again broke passing the 600 metres.
SOUTH PARK - broke at the start losing all chance.
KIWITRIX - slow to begin. Hampered by a breaking runner rounding the first bend.
SVELT - broke racing into the first bend losing all chance.
KING OF THE NORTH - trotted roughly in the early stages. Again trotted roughly in the home straight.
MR OLYMPUS - broke shortly after the start. Again broke near the 1300 metres. Stood down to trial on one occasion to the Stewards satisfaction prior to racing next. Briefly hampered by a breaking runner near the 600 metres.
MISS BAMBOOCHA - briefly raced wider on the track near the 1750 metres. Trotted roughly in the home straight.
AVEROSS MAJESTY - slow to begin. Lay outwards in the home straight. When questioned regarding the performance driver E Barron advised the gelding had proved difficult to steer on various occasions during the running.
Race 4   DOWNBYTHESEASIDE 'FRESH, FAST & FERTILE' MOBILE PACE
THE NAENAE EXPRESS - held up rounding the final bend. Driver R Swain was issued a warning for using his whip free of the rein in the home straight.
SLY TRICKS - held up for clear racing room in the home straight.
IDEAL ROBYN - hung inwards in the score-up and was out of position at the start. Raced wide in the early stages until reaching the parked position near the 1500 metres.
ONEDIN HURRICANE - when questioned regarding the performance driver E Barron advised the gelding, which was having it first start back, had peaked on its run in the home straight however would derive considerable benefit from the run.
CHARLTON REACTOR - over-raced throughout.
STARS N BARS - paced roughly near the 200 metres. Held up for clear racing room in the home straight.
PORT AU PRINCE - driver P Hunter was spoken to advisedly for using his whip free of the rein in the early stages of the home straight.
Race 5   AMERICAN IDEAL 'THE CONSISTENT PRODUCER' MOBILE PACE
FRANCO HUNTINGTON - raced greenly in the middle stages when leading. Driver E Barron was spoken to advisedly for using her whip with more than a wrist flicking motion.
ONESMARTFELLA - over-raced when wide in the early stages. Driver R May was warned for using his whip free of the rein in the home straight.
A CRACKER KNIGHT - over-raced in the middle stages. Held up rounding the final bend.
VON ART - late scratching on Veterinary advice at 1.55pm with connections advised a Veterinary clearance would be required prior to the mare racing next.
CASSIUS BROMAC - hung outwards and skyed its head late in the score-up.
TAD LINCOLN - over-raced in the middle stages.
Race 6   SPEEDING SPUR 'NINE GROUP ONE WINS' MOBILE PACE
IVANA LEGACY - connections advised that the mare has had her hocks injected since last racing.
JODY DIREEN - the near front hopple carrier came adrift racing into the first bend. Trainer M House was issued a $100 Minor Infringement Notice for failing to affix gear so as not to come adrift.
RIDE IN A CONCORDE - over-raced in the early stages when being restrained to obtain cover then continued to over-race through the middle stages.
ALLABOUTDREAMS - broke in the score-up losing some ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Weakened final bend.
MY NIKAYLA - hung inwards when weakening on the final bend.
BAILEYS DIAMOND - driver R May was spoken to advisedly for using his whip free of the rein in the home straight.
Race 7   PASTOR STEPHEN MOBILE PACE
LOCK IT IN EDDIE - driver S Tomlinson was spoken to advisedly for using her whip with more than a wrist flicking motion.
BLACK OPS - hung outwards rounding the final bend.
FIREBALL - weakened over the concluding stages. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed a high respiratory rate and poor recovery. Stood down pending a Veterinary clearance. Stewards will follow up with trainer G Hunter regarding the recovery of the horse in the coming days.
LA LA LAND - driver N Williamson was spoken to advisedly for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion.
I'M WATCHING YOU - raced wide in the early stages prior to reaching the parked position near the 1750 metres.
HAMPTON - broke briefly in the score-up. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
RACING MINISTER - raced wide without cover from the 800 metres.
FOUR STARZZZ SHIRAZ - paced roughly when weakening rounding the final bend. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Trainer D O'Connell reported that the horse had been striking its knees and turned both knee boots.
JIMMY CANNON - held up for clear racing room in the early and middle stages of the run home.
JABALI - had difficulty obtaining clear running throughout the home straight.
TONY THE PONY - hung outwards through the middle stages. Again hung outwards badly in the run home. Driver K Tomlinson reported the gelding had resented the boring pole causing her considerable difficulty.
Race 8   BETTOR'S DELIGHT 'WORLD'S BEST SIRE' NUGGET FINAL (MOB PACE)
SANTERIA - hampered by a breaking runner rounding the final bend.
AVEROSS SPITFIRE - broke racing into the first bend hampering trailing runners and losing all chance. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
NOOSA BEACH - broke in the score-up losing all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
SAINT TROPEZ - hampered by a breaking runner rounding the final bend.
ALEXIS ROCKET - hampered by a breaking runner rounding the final bend.
TAC MAC - broke passing the 350 metres hampering trailing runners. A warning was placed on the racing record of the filly.
GLENLEDI CAPTAIN - hampered by a breaking runner racing into the first bend. Again hampered by a breaking runner rounding the final bend. Driver P Hunter will be spoken to regarding the manner he used his whip in the run home.
RAGAZZO MACH - hampered by a breaking runner racing into the first bend. Driver N Williamson reported he did not release the removable deafeners applied to the colt due to having the field covered.
