WOLFENSTEIN - co-trainer G Knight advised Stewards on 15 November that following its disappointing performance the gelding had recovered well after over-racing throughout and would continue on with the current campaign.

Race 1   FEAR THE DRAGON AT MACCA LODGE MOBILE PACE
GREENBACK BOOGIE - briefly hampered passing the 1300 metres when the pace eased.
MIDNIGHT IN MEMPHIS - over-raced through the middle stages. Paced roughly near the 250 metres. When questioned regarding the performance driver J Cox could offer no tangible explanation however did advise the gelding had paced roughly from the 400 metres. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
VON ART - raced wide in the early stages. Raced greenly passing the 1300 metres when leading, resulting in a slight easing of the pace and a concertina effect through the field with trailing runners briefly hampered in consequence.
ARIZONA DOLL - briefly hampered passing the 1300 metres when the pace eased.
MICKEY FITZ - briefly hampered passing the 1300 metres when the pace eased.
ART PROFILE - briefly hampered passing the 1300 metres when the pace eased.
LECONTE - raced five-wide from the 600 metres before being briefly hampered leaving the final bend.
OLD LUKE - briefly hampered passing the 1300 metres when the pace eased. Over-raced through the middle stages.
IDEAL ROBYN - lay outwards leaving the final bend briefly hampering LECONTE. Junior driver M Hurrell was advised to exercise greater care when shifting ground and also spoken to advisedly for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion.
Trainer J Cox advised Stewards on 17 November that MIDNIGHT IN MEMPHIS has recovered well following its performance at Winton on Sunday and will continue its preparation at Motukarara this weekend.
Race 2   SPEEDING SPUR AT WOODLANDS STUD HANDICAP TROT
SOUTH PARK - briefly hampered by a breaking runner near the 500 metres. Held up rounding the final bend.
HARRY H - briefly hampered by a breaking runner near the 500 metres.
COUNT EYRE - broke passing the 500 metres briefly hampering trailing runners. A warning was placed on the racing manners of the gelding. Reported to have lost a racing plate during the running.
ALPINE RETREAT - pre-race warmed. Weakened rounding the final bend.
DIPENDRA - broke leaving the final bend.
SEKKIE MONKEY - broke at the start losing its chance.
WHATWILLBEEWILLBEE - the start was delayed due to this gelding getting the sulky shaft over its rump. Raced wide in the early stages. Trotted roughly over the concluding stages.
AFTERBURNER - stood on the mark and was slow to begin. Broke after 150 metres losing its chance.
Race 3   A W KYLE BUILDER MOBILE PACE
HAZER - broke after 130 metres badly checking trailing runners. Placed on the Unruly for future mobile start engagements.
MYRCELLA - held up rounding the final bend.
DALLAS GRIMES - held up rounding the final bend.
MAN I'M GOOD - briefly locked wheels with SWIFT ROBYN leaving the final bend.
LOCK IT IN EDDIE - raced wide in the early stages. Paced roughly passing the 500 metres.
THE NIGHT WATCHMAN - raced wide prior to reaching the parked position near the 1400 metres.
SWIFT ROBYN - badly checked by a breaking runner after 130 metres losing some ground. Briefly locked wheels with MAN I'M GOOD leaving the final bend.
MY NIKAYLA - badly checked by a breaking runner after 130 metres losing its chance.
CALICO HILL - out of position at the start. A final warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
Race 4   NEW ZEALAND BLOODSTOCK JUNIOR DRIVERS MOBILE PACE
ONESMARTFELLA - weakened over the concluding stages.
GLENLEDI CAPTAIN - the left side sulky wheel was contacted by CAB CALLOWAY near the 150 metres with the sulky tyre deflating in consequence.
CAB CALLOWAY - over-raced in the middle stages when in the parked position. Held up for racing room throughout the final straight and when looking for clear racing room near the 150 metres contacted the sulky wheel of GLENLEDI CAPTAIN. When spoken to regarding this junior driver M Hill explained that due to being held up he had anticipated a gap that did not eventuate and as a result his off hind leg made contact with the sulky wheel of GLENLEDI CAPTAIN with his horse breaking briefly in consequence. Junior driver M Hill was warned for the manner he shifted ground at this stage of the race.
SUZIE ROCKS - paced roughly in the score-up.
PAY ME SPEEDY - over-raced through the middle stages.
MAJOR MENACE - junior driver K McNaught reported he did not activate the removable deafeners applied to the mare due to the cord becoming entangled.
ROBYNS SHADOW - over-raced through the middle stages. Junior driver K Tomlinson was spoken to advisedly for using her whip with more than a wrist flicking motion.
CASSIUS BROMAC - trainer B Gray was issued a $100 Minor Infringement Notice when presenting this runner without the notified blinds. Held up for clear racing room throughout the final straight.
Race 5   MUSCLE MASS AT NEVELE R STUD GOLD CHIP FINAL (HCP TROT)
SACRED MOUNTAIN - broke at the start losing its chance.
SMOKIN BANDAR - pre-race warmed. When questioned regarding the seemingly improved performance trainer/driver C Ferguson advised the gelding has ability and today had trotted tractably throughout the race.
HELLUVA WAY - trotted roughly when held up rounding the final bend.
MADRIK - broke at the start losing its chance.
CODY BANNER - broke shortly after the start losing considerable ground. Trotted roughly rounding the final bend before again breaking passing the 150 metres. Stood down to trial on one occasion to the Stewards satisfaction prior to racing next.
STEVE - hampered by a breaking runner entering the first bend.
MIDNIGHT MEMORIES - hampered by a breaking runner entering the first bend. Weakened from the 400 metres.
MISS JESSICA - driver T Robertson was spoken to advisedly for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion. Returned to the birdcage with blood present on the off hind leg which subsequently received Veterinary treatment. When spoken to regarding this driver T Robertson explained that the mare had momentarily touched the sulky wheel of KING OF THE NORTH on the final bend.
PRINCE ENVY - broke at the start losing its chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding.
KING OF THE NORTH - lay inwards rounding the final bend despite the efforts of driver K Larsen placing MISS JESSICA in tight quarters.
Race 6   POPEY'S RETIREMENT FILLIES & MARES MOBILE PACE
PERTURBED - held up for clear racing room over the concluding stages.
SHERWOOD MAGGIE - weakened rounding the final bend. Trainer C Ferguson reported the mare would now be sent for a spell.
TOTAL ECLIPSE - Broke shortly after the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly. Broke passing the 900 metres losing its chance. When questioned regarding the performance driver T Chmiel advised the filly had been striking her knee throughout.
Race 7   DOWNBYTHESEASIDE AT WOODLANDS STUD MOBILE PACE
STARS N BARS - paced roughly over the concluding stages and due to this was unable to be driven out by driver K Barclay. K Barclay reported the gelding had felt indifferent in its action with a post-race Veterinary examination revealing no obvious abnormalities. STARS N BARS will undergo a further Veterinary examination on return to its stable which Stewards will follow up.
THE HORNET - raced three-wide without cover from the 900 metres and weakened rounding the final bend. Driver J Cox reported the gelding had felt lethargic throughout. Trainer T Stratford advised in his opinion THE HORNET would derive benefit from the run today. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities.
SURFERS PARADISE - out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver A Beck. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Raced greenly through the middle stages.
BETA THAN LOVE - raced wide rounding the first bend. Badly hampered by a tiring runner near the 500 metres.
STILL ROCKIN - fractious and broke in the score-up however recovered to take up its allotted barrier position.
SOCIAL CLUB - raced wide rounding the first bend. Weakened from the 600 metres hampering trailing runners. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have a slow recovery. A warning was placed on the racing performance of SOCIAL CLUB.
THE KINGSMAN - broke passing the 1200 metres when improving wide on the track. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
YOUNG GEORGE - briefly hampered by a tiring runner near the 500 metres.
ROCKABELLE - raced wide rounding the first bend. Restrained to the rear and lost contact with the body of the field from the 1700 metres. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities. A warning was placed on the racing performance of the mare.
Co-trainer K Barclay advised Stewards on 18 November that STARS N BARS appears to have recovered well following its run at Winton on Sunday and will continue with its current preparation.
Race 8   VINCENT AT ALABAR FILLIES & MARES MOBILE PACE
IDEAL GAL - broke briefly racing into the first bend due to a slight easing of the pace.
JODY DIREEN - raced wide in the early stages. Hung inwards through the middle stages.
FERRITTS SISTER - held up rounding the final bend.
Race 9   WINTON WORKOUTS COMMITTEE MOBILE PACE
FREDDIESAM - over-raced through the middle stages.
DODGETHEBULLET - held up through the early and middle stages of the home straight.
MAAHES - paced roughly rounding the final bend losing ground. Junior driver M Hurrell reported the gelding had hung at various stages and was on one rein throughout.
JACKS N JAZZ - held up rounding the final bend.
Race 10   REGENT CAR COURT MOBILE PACE
EL DORADO - over-raced through the middle stages. Briefly held up leaving the final bend.
MR CLOONEY - driver J Cox was spoken to advisedly for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion.
TONY THE PONY - out of position at the start. Placed on the Unruly for future mobile start engagements at the request of trainer M Brinsdon.
JIMMY CANNON - weakened rounding the final bend. Driver A Armour was spoken to advisedly for using his whip with more than a wrist flicking motion.
DANGEROUS - weakened over the concluding stages.
