Race 1   WELCOME TO SHOW DAY RACES MOBILE TROT
ISLA ELSIE - broke at the start. A warning was placed on the mare's barrier record.
ROYAL PRIDE - sustained a punctured sulky tyre near the 500 metres.
MAJESTIC CHICK - driver R Holmes was issued with a warning for using his whip free of the rein in the early stages of the run home.
LUMINOSITY - raced wide early and middle stages.
BRIGHT GLOW - raced wide early and middle stages.
SHOW ME THE GRAY - hampered in the early stages. Shifted out when not clear of MISS CRAZED which broke near the 250 metres. Driver J Cox admitted driving carelessly in this incident and the JCA suspended his licence from the conclusion of racing on 15 November up to and including 21 November 2020 (3 days).
ZSAHARA - raced wide from the 1300 metres. Weakened from the 600 metres.
MISS CRAZED - hung outwards in the score up and was out of position at the start. Checked and broke near the 250 metres.
NO FEARS - make contact with the left sulky wheel of ROYAL PRIDE near the 500 metres.
Race 2   METROPOL MOBILE PACE
NEW YORK MAN - raced wide from the 800 metres. Weakened approaching the 400 metres.
MAJORCA - locked wheels with ALREADY GONE late in the run home.
ALREADY GONE - held up over the final stages. Locked wheels with MAJORCA late in the run home.
BETTERWITHBLING - had difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the early stages of the run home.
TAC MAC - the boring pole came unattached from the saddle during the running.
PLAYA VISTA - paced roughly for several strides in the run home.
Race 3   MACCA LODGE 'TRAINED SOUTH OF THE WAITAKI' MOBILE PACE
SENTRY - paced roughly and shifted outwards when in restricted room on the inside of MAJOR PUNTER racing into the first bend. Stewards questioned drivers R McIlwrick (SENTRY) and M Purdon (MAJOR PUNTER) where Mr McIlwrick explained his intention had been to restrain and trail MAJOR PUNTER however when he had steadied his horse it had raced greenly and shifted outwards contributing to the interference. Mr Purdon explained that his runner had shifted inwards of his doing in the early stages and applied some pressure to SENTRY which he had immediately attempted to ease however felt that runner had shifted outwards to make contact with his left sulky wheel causing it to race roughly. Notwithstanding this driver M Purdon was issued with a warning to exercise care when shifting ground. Shifted up the track in the final straight. Driver R McIlwrick advised his horse had failed to respond to his attempts to correct however Stewards advised him it was expected he make a better effort to maintain a straight course in future.
WOLFENSTEIN - raced fiercely early and middle stages causing driver J Dunn difficulty. Lost contact with the field near the 1100 metres when shifted to a three wide position. Weakened near the 400 metres. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
LOVE ON THE ROCKS - broke after 100 metres. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier record. Again broke near the 1000 metres. When questioned regarding the performance, driver S Tomlinson could offer no explanation.
I'MALLABOUTTHEBASE - over-raced early and middle stages giving driver S Ottley some difficulty when surrendering the parked position near the 1200 metres.
SAGWITCH - weakened final bend.
WOLFENSTEIN - co-trainer G Knight advised Stewards on 15 November that following its disappointing performance the gelding had recovered well after over-racing throughout and would continue on with the current campaign.
Race 4   PENINSULA BEACHFRONT RESORT MOOLOOLABA HCP TROT
MADELEINE STOWE - broke near the 2300 metres checking trailing runner.
EASY PICKINGS - trotted roughly throughout the final straight with driver B Hope unable to fully pressure the gelding.
THE PLAYER - broke briefly at the start. When spoken to regarding the gelding's performance trainer R Dunn advised that he felt the horse had not backed up from its run on Tuesday.
MARIA TSARINA - broke at the start and lost its chance.
DOFF YOUR CAP - driver M Jones was spoken to for using his whip free of the rein near the 75 metres.
DIDJABRINGTHEBEERS - hampered at the start and then broke for a considerable distance when the 10 metre barrier strand was significantly slower to release than the others. The all clear was delayed until Stewards and driver T Chmiel could view the incident and after doing so DIDJABRINGTHEBEERS was deemed a non runner.
SPLASH COLA - broke racing into the first bend.
HARRYSUL - slow to begin. Checked and broke near the 2300 metres. Stewards spoke with driver B Borcoskie as to whether he could have avoided this galloping runner. Mr Borcoskie explained his runner had been slow to begin and got back as a result however had built up significant momentum by the first bend. He added that he had noticed MADELEINE STOWE breaking and felt there was sufficient room to pass by on the inside but misjudged this manoeuvre due to being late to notice the extent of MADELEINE STOWE's gallop. Mr Borcoskie was advised that he was expected to be more aware in future and issued with a warning.
Race 5   GRAPHITE DEVELOPMENTS SHOW DAY FUTURITY MOBILE PACE
The start was delayed approx six minutes when ZAMBIA required farrier attention.
SNEAK A PEEK - weakened from the 700 metres.
FOREGONE CONCLUSION - raced wide early stages.
NEYVELI FRANCO - raced wide from the 700 metres but was unable to quicken in the run home. When spoken to regarding the performance, driver C Thornley reported the mare had been unsuited to the fast tempo of the race.
ZAMBIA - trainer M Kerr was issued a warning for being late to notify ZAMBIA would be racing with blinds.
FIVE STAR GENERAL - paced roughly and broke for a distance shortly after the start. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier record.
Race 6   FAHEY FENCE HIRE MOBILE PACE
GLENLEDI CHIEF - made contact with the final pylon prior to the passing lane.
THE MAROON MARAUDER - paced roughly on the first bend.
ESPECIAL - broke in the score up and was out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the mare's barrier record.
AQUA SANCTA - lay inwards throughout the run home.
ROCKNROLL ROD - when questioned regarding the performance, driver J Cox reported he felt the gelding had not backed up from its run on Tuesday.
I'M TOUGH - driver K Newman was spoken to regarding the manner he shifted ground outwards near the 100 metres which caused SOMEKINDAWONDERFUL to become crowded.
SOMEKINDAWONDERFUL - had to be steadied near the 100 metres when I'M TOUGH shifted ground.
Race 7   LANSON CHAMPAGNE MOBILE TROT
WESTEROS - broke in the score up checking ANDOVERLOV with a false start being declared. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier record. Driver J Dunn elected to remain in his barrier position for the restart. Broke again at the restart losing its chance.
JIMMY CARTER - broke near the 900 metres when ANDOVERLOV shifted outwards. Stewards questioned drivers M Williamson (JIMMY CARTER) and B Butt (ANDOVERLOV) regarding this. Mr Butt advised he felt he had successfully shifted to a two wide position near the 1000 metres and become established in that line for a considerable time before JIMMY CARTER had broken, adding that from his perspective the outside runner had over-reacted to being taken wider. Mr Williamson felt his runner at the time had maintained his position in the two wide line but agreed that his horse did not handle the outwards shift. Stewards were not satisfied that either driver was solely to blame so took the matter no further other than to remind both drivers of their obligations.
MIDNIGHT ASSASSIN - trotted roughly in the score up and was out of position at the restart.
MONRIKA - raced wide early stages.
ANDY HALL - broke in the score up at the first attempt at a start. Raced wide in the early stages.
ANDOVERLOV - checked in the score up with a false start declared. When questioned regarding the performance, driver B Butt advised he was very disappointed with the horse's effort over the final stages and was unable to offer any explanation. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
MISSALYSSA - raced wide early stages.
SIOUX PRINCESS - held up throughout the run home.
RYDGEMONT MILLY - broke at the 1500 metres.
Trainer P Nairn advised Stewards on 18 November that ANDOVERLOV has worked well since disappointing at Addington on Show Day and will continue with its current preparation.
Race 8   IRT HANDICAP PACE
A false start was declared when the barrier failed to clear the 20 metre horses.
WILLIAM WALLACE - began awkwardly.
FYNN FROST - broke at the start.
STEEL THE SHOW - the right side breastplate came undone in the middle stages.
BURNHAM BOY - broke briefly at the start.
HOMEBUSH LAD - raced wide in the early stages before being restrained to the rear of the field.
Race 9   HANLEY FORMULA MOBILE PACE
BLUE CHIP DELIGHT - held up in the early stages of the run home.
BUNDORAN - over-raced after being forced wider near the 950 metres.
ABOVE N BEYOND - raced wide early and middle stages. Weakened final bend.
MIGHTY LOOEE - when spoken to regarding the gelding's performance, driver K Newman explained his runner had over-raced in the early stages.
A TASTE OF HONEY - raced wide early stages. Raced four wide from the 700 metres. Weakened final bend.
KRUIZR - raced wide throughout.
PAY ME VISA - raced over track markers on the final bend when placed in restricted room.
ALTERIOR MOTIF - raced wide early and middle stages. Lay inwards rounding the final bend forcing PAY ME VISA over several track markers.
LAVER - raced wide early and middle stages.
Race 10   MAJESTIC SON DOMINION (STAND TROT)
The start was delayed when MAJESTIC MAN required gear attention then HEAVYWEIGHT HERO reared and fell to the track behind the barrier. HEAVYWEIGHT HERO underwent a veterinary examination and was cleared to start.
DESTINY JONES - weakened from the 1300 metres. Trainer D Hunter reported it was his intention to retire the mare from racing.
CRACKER HILL - broke at the start.
ONE APOLLO - broke at the start.
MAJESTIC LAVROS - broke near the 350 metres.
MATUA TANA - broke near the 800 metres. Stood down to complete a satisfactory trial.
HEAVYWEIGHT HERO - driver B Butt reported he dropped his whip in the back straight.
DARK HORSE - broke at the start.
PRES THE BELLE - broke approaching the 400 metres.
Race 11   NEVELE R SIRES' STAKES SOUTHERN MARES CLASSIC (MOB PACE)
LULU LE MANS - driver S Tomlinson was spoken to regarding using her whip with more than a wrist flicking motion.
NEED YOU NOW - raced wide early stages. Weakened over the final stages. When questioned regarding the performance, driver J Dunn reported the mare had raced keenly throughout and in his opinion had not backed up from its run on Tuesday.
SPELLBOUND - over-raced when being restrained near the 1100 metres.
ENCHANTEE - raced wide early and middle stages. Driver C DeFilippi was warned for the manner in which he drove near the 1100 metres when shifting inwards and crowding the racing room of NEED YOU NOW while progressing forward three wide.
Race 12   MEDIAWORKS 'MAKE SOME NOISE' NZ FFA (MOBILE PACE)
ASHLEY LOCAZ - raced wide early stages.
AMAZING DREAM - held up throughout the run home.
Race 13   XCM SPORT MOBILE PACE
WARLOCH - held up early stages of the run home.
DANCE TIME - broke in the score up and was slightly out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier record.
JAZZY STAR - raced keenly when wide in the early stages. Paced roughly for a short distance in the final stages. Driver S McNally was spoken to regarding momentarily removing his hand from the rein before correcting himself.
VINTAGE CHEDDAR - B Williamson was spoken to for using his whip in more than a wrist flicking motion.
