Race 1   AGROWQUIP | JOHN DEERE CAMBRIDGE MOBILE PACE
IDEAL AGENT - tended to lay out racing through the straights.
ADIEU FLIRT - delayed the initial score up when becoming fractious which resulted in a gear issue with the breast plate. A warning was placed on the mare's mobile barrier manners record.
Race 2   gavelhouse.com ENTRIES DUE WEDNESDAY TROT
MASU - shifted out shortly after the start and had to be corrected.
PRESIDENTS TOPSHOT - inconvenienced by a breaking runner approaching the 1800m.
HAKA PRIDE - locked sulky stays with JUST PLAIN LUCKY approaching the 1800m and broke before settling at the rear. Lay in approaching the 850m contacting marker pegs with Driver A Pyers becoming unbalanced in the sulky dropping his left foot from the footrest for some strides.
FLYING SCOTSMAN - raced three wide early and middle stages.
JUST PLAIN LUCKY - locked stays with HAKA PRIDE approaching the 1800m.
CIRCUS CIRCUS - trotted roughly final turn and throughout the run home.
Race 3   DUNSTAN HORSE FEEDS MOBILE PACE
KARMIC WAY - broke near the 1750m when being restrained off the back of PORT DELIGHT after there was an easing of the pace on the marker line and checked trailing runners before losing its chance and being retired from the event. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners record.
BET WEST - raced three wide early and middle stages.
SHEZSOMETHINSPECIAL - raced fiercely through the front straight the first time when BET WEST improved to its outside. Continued to over-race when outside the leader during the middle stages.
REVITALISE - broke at the start and settled at the rear. A warning was placed on the gelding's mobile barrier manners record. Hampered when having to take evasive action near the 1750m.
LYNTON CREEK - checked and broke near the 1700m and was retired from the event after breaking the off fore hopple loop. This gear was inspected and found to be in satisfactory order.
LAVAZZA - checked and had to take evasive action near the 1750m.
JUNGLE GEM - raced three wide early and middle stages.
SWEET MAGGIE RYAN - checked near the 1750m and paced roughly losing ground. Weakened final turn.
DUN IT BAD - locked wheels briefly with ANAM NUNU when weakening near the 250m.
ANAM NUNU - checked and broke near the 1750m but soon settled. Locked wheels briefly with DUN IT BAD near the 250m.
Race 4   GREGORY EQUINE COVERS & SADDLERY MOBILE PACE
DRAMATIST - over-raced when being restrained to surrender the lead approaching the 1800m and continued to pull hard at various stages.
SUPER DUPER DUDE - Driver D Ferguson was spoken to advisedly for using his whip free of the rein near the 1100m and loose reining early in the run home when using his whip with more than a wrist only flicking motion.
INQUISITO - over-raced middle stages. Driver A Pyers was cautioned for using his whip free of the rein throughout the run home.
Race 5   LOVERIDGE ENTERPRISE BUILDERS HANDICAP TROT
LUKYANOVA - locked wheels with SAFRAKOVA briefly near the 250m. Lay in entering the home straight.
FIRA - broke at the start and then settled briefly before breaking again losing ground.
SAFRAKOVA - tended to lay out at various stages. Locked wheels with LUKYANOVA briefly near the 250m. Driver L Chin was spoken to advisedly in relation to the manner in which he loose reined in the home straight.
LEESA CASTLETON - raced in restricted room rounding the final turn.
STILL EYRE - held up throughout the home straight when unable to secure clear running.
HORACE HORSE - raced three wide middle stages before improving to lead near the 1500m. Commenced to weaken passing the 400m and raced over marker pegs rounding the final turn. Driver S Phelan advised that the mid-race effort when caught wide had taken its toll.
GREY STOKE - broke near the 2200m and lost its chance.
GRIFFINS HALL - raced in restricted room rounding the final turn.
Race 6   P & M QUALITY PAINTERS MOBILE PACE
SARGENT BEST - lay in near the 950m when handing up the lead and dislodged several marker pegs with one striking a trailing runner.
RONDA - raced three wide early.
BETTERTHANYOUTHINK - Driver O Gillies was spoken to advisedly for using his whip free of the rein rounding the final turn and then loose reining when using the whip with more than a wrist only flicking action.
SUIDELIKE MAJOR - struck by a dislodged marker peg passing the 950m and broke losing its chance.
BLAKE - broke shortly after the start and settled at the rear. Authorisation of this runner's 5th placing was withheld until it was confirmed that the gelding had complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation. Placed on the Unruly for future Mobiles at the Trainer's request.
ENJOY ME - Co-trainers S & A Telfer were issued with a warning for presenting the filly without the notified blinds which were then affixed.
Race 7   FUJI XEROX MOBILE PACE
J BEE - back a length at start. Driver K Marshall was warned to maintain his position until dispatch in the future. Mr Marshall was also cautioned for loose reining and using his whip with more than a wrist only action in the run home.
HIGH POINT - lay in approaching the first turn when being restrained to the rear.
LADY CHEROKEE - over-raced early when caught three wide before then being restrained near the 2200m to find a position at the rear. Lost contact with the body of the field for some distance passing the 1900m and was unable to make up any ground over the final stages to finish towards the rear. When questioned Driver A Harrison stated that the mare had been required to work hard when caught wide early but had then disappointed when failing to run on. Trainer T Mitchell advised that he had instructed Miss Harrison to go back early to receive cover but that the mare had over-raced giving her a difficult drive. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormality however Mr Mitchell advised Stewards some time later in the night that he had concerns with LADY CHEROKEE's recovery and would be having the mare undergo further veterinary examination. Stewards will follow up regarding the recovery in the coming days.
BENJAMIN BUTTON - over-raced middle stages. Weakened run home.
LADY CHEROKEE - Trainer T Mitchell advised Stewards on 17 November that further veterinary tests had failed to detect any abnormality with the mare continuing with its preparation.
Race 8   FURNWARE INDUSTRIES MOBILE PACE
EMMBER - held up final turn.
MAC'S TOMADO - raced roughly at various stages. Inconvenienced when forced to briefly race wider approaching the 2000m when FRANKIE JONES shifted away from the marker line before being steadied to trail that runner. Held up final turn. Had difficulty obtaining clear running until late in the home straight.
OHOKA ACHILLES - over-raced middle stages when at the rear.
FRANKIE JONES - had to be steadied approaching the 2200m after EMMBER, which had commenced to shift away from the marker line, shifted back down to trail ACE STRIKE. Commenced to over-race shortly after before shifting out from the marker line near the 2000m which resulted in MAC'S TOMADO being forced wider on the track briefly. When questioned regarding this incident Driver D Butcher stated that FRANKIE JONES had proved difficult previously when over-racing badly in the field so he elected to shift out for safety reasons when the opportunity became available. After considering the matter Stewards noted Mr Butcher's explanation.
BUGALUGS - pulled hard score up. Held up final turn.
Race 9   PLAYGROUND CREATIONS MOBILE PACE
The start was effected marginally early which resulted in three outside runners being back from position at the 2700m starting point.
BEAUDIENE EMERALD - over-raced middle stages. Commenced to weaken final turn and locked wheels for several strides with MARIA KIRILENKO near the 250m.
ZIP CODE - Driver T Cameron reported that only one deafener activated.
MARIA KIRILENKO - locked wheels for several strides with BEAUDIENE EMERALD near the 250m.
RED RIVER DASH - lay in and broke briefly after the start. Contacted several marker pegs rounding the final bend when racing to the inside of the weakening BEAUDIENE EMERALD.
MIGHTY MONICA - held up briefly final turn.
Race 10   AUTEX INDUSTRIES TROT
STRENGTH OF HEART - held up early final turn.
SET ME FREE - broke approaching the first turn losing its chance.
ALANA - delayed the start when taking another turn after becoming fractious. Back from position when the barrier was released. Held up early final bend and early stages of the run home.
SKEE KING - broke at the start losing considerable ground. Weakened from the 600m.
LITTLEBITOFLOVE - Stewards questioned Driver J Abernethy (LITTLEBITOFLOVE) and A Harrison (SIR HENRY CASTLETON) in relation to an incident approaching the 2000m where LITTLEBITOFLOVE raced three wide when improving to the outside of SIR HENRY CASTLETON. After hearing the relative evidence and viewing the replays it was established that SIR HENRY CASTLETON had shifted to a one out position prior to LITTLEBITOFLOVE improving to its outer and Stewards took the matter no further.
RASTUSBURN - broke passing the 250m and continued on in a strong gallop despite the efforts of Driver A Poutama before making solid contact with the sulky of STRENGTH OF HEART inside the 150m when that runner shifted out from the marker line. It was subsequently established that RASTUSBURN had contributed to the incident by shifting inwards whilst in the gallop and no further action was taken other than to remind both Drivers of their respective obligations. A post race veterinary examination revealed a superficial abrasion to the near fore.
ISAAC H - held up final turn and early stages of the run home. Trotted roughly late in the run home and broke on the finishing line.
