Race 1   WELCOME BACK TO HARNESS RACING AT 'THE MOT' PACE
SOCIAL MEDIA - broke at the start.
DALNESS FIRST - broke at the start. Held up throughout the home straight. Driver R May reported that because of this he had not released the deafeners.
PENELOPE BROMAC - had difficulty obtaining clear racing room in run home.
UNICO DREAM - when questioned regarding the mares performance driver J Dunn reported that the mare had hung throughout the race. A post race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities.
MARK DUNNETT - broke when leading racing over the crossing losing some ground before settling and again being taken forward to find the front.
DAGGY LAMB - held up early to middle stages home straight.
KINGSDOWN ATOM - held up early stages home straight.
ATTACHE - broke at the start.
BETTOR BELIEVE IT - broke shortly after the start. Over-raced middle stages. Raced greenly over the final stages.
KEY REACTOR - shifted out near the 1200 metres briefly hampering an outside runner. Driver J Gray was spoken to advisedly regarding this incident Raced wide from the 1200 metres.
JUSTACE - was hampered by KEY REACTOR with driver J Harrington momentarily unbalanced near the 1200 metres. Briefly hampered middle stages of home straight when under pressure.
Race 2   JEAN ANDERSON MEMORIAL TROT
ROSIE'S SON - fractious prior to the start and slow to begin.
SPOT THE GAMBLE - held up for clear racing room in the early and middle stages of the home straight. Shifted out marginally just prior to the finish placing SHIFFTY in restricted room. Junior driver S Thornley advised that he had trouble steering the mare and would be recommending gear changes to the connections to rectify this.
THE GARDENER'S PRIDE - the mare was retired from the event passing the 1400 metres due to strap on the breast plate coming adrift. This gear was inspected and found to be of good order.
TRIXTON TIME - a post race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities.
KENNY KEKO - broke at the start losing all chance.
RANDOM JUDE - reared and bounded away. Shifted in marginally just prior to the finish placing SHIFFTY in restricted room.
INQUIZITIVE MAN - broke near the 150 metres losing all chance.
EILISH HALL - tangled away.
SHIFFTY - became placed in tight quarters just prior to the finish when runners either side shifted ground.
ARISTOCRAT - broke shortly after the start losing all chance.
THIS TIME GAMBLE - trotted roughly throughout the home straight.
Race 3   THANK YOU SCOTT EDMONDS MOBILE PACE
GREENBACK BOOGIE - hampered near the 1200 metres.
THE WEST WING - briefly hampered first bend. Hampered near the 1200 metres.
DREAMY LOU - broke over the crossing briefly hampering a trailing runner.
POCKET ROCKNROLL - broke leaving the home straight with the mare being retired from the race.
I MISS MUM - hampered leaving the straight for the first time by a breaking runner.
MACH'S ELIMINATOR - broke near the 1200 metres hampering several trailing runners. A warning was placed on the mare's racing manners. Driver G Smith was questioned regarding this and explained that his runner had been hanging outwards and then when outside runners improved his mare had over-raced and reacted poorly to being steadied. Mr Smith added that he had recommended to trainer P Burrows that he use a different bit in future.
CHEAPCHEAP - hampered near the 1200 metres.
ARIZONAWILDCAT - broke racing around the first bend hampering THE WEST WING.
PLAY BY EAR - hampered near the 1200 metres.
HELLO ADELE - hampered near the 1200 metres.
Race 4   MIKE MCCALLUM MEMORIAL PACE
A false start was declared due the tape becoming entangled in the legs of WESTAR LAD.
CABALLE BEACH - broke at the start losing all chance.
BROMAC HYPE - broke at the start.
SWEETER THAN SAL - Trainer G Hunt was issued a warning for failing to notify this mare was wearing blinds. Lay in on the first bend.
REGGIE GOLIGHTLY - fractious behind the barriers and was difficult to restrain after the false start causing a further delay. The gelding was sent to the Unruly for the restart where it will remain for future standing starts. Broke at the start and again going over the crossing losing it's chance.
ARMINIUS - broke briefly at the start.
WESTAR LAD - broke shortly after the start losing all chance.
UNCHANGED MEMORY - held up middle stages home straight.
DREAMSINTHE MIST - hung in on the final bend.
BUCKINGHAM - raced wide early stages until reaching the parked position at the 1400 metres then lay in throughout the home straight.
PRESIDENT PAT - hung out on the first bend. Held up final stages.
Driver M Edmonds (SENSE OF OCCASION) admitted using his whip on more occasions than permitted under Clause (b) of the Use of the Whip Regulations and the JCA imposed a fine of $200.
Race 5   RURAL CONNECTIVITY GROUP TROT
GOTTA TICKET - broke shortly after the start and lost ground.
PLAY DOUGH - tangled away. When spoken to regarding the performance of the gelding driver L O'Reilly advised that it had raced lethargically. Trainer C McDowell reported that he had been disappointed with his gelding's efforts but could offer no explanation. A post race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities.
CABELLA NOIR - broke shortly after the start. Hampered final bend.
CALL THIS FUN - broke inside the final 50 metres and continued in a gallop over the line being lapped on by FRANCO JOSIAH. Relegated from 2nd to 3rd by the JCA under Rule 870(5) and the Breaking Horse Regulations. A warning was placed on the mare's racing record.
GO ON ANDOVER - hampered by a breaking runner shortly after the start. Raced wide early stages. Trotted roughly in the home straight.
TRES MAGNIFIQUE - broke shortly after the start.
SILVER SURFER - broke at the start. Trotted roughly middle stages.
DD'S SUPER STUART - broke final bend hampering trailing runner.

STETSON - raced wide early stages.
YANKEE DIVA - driver R Close reported that the mare was striking the sulky discs throughout.
REFINE - lay inwards throughout the final straight.
DALNESS ARIZONA - paced roughly shortly after the start.
MR ASIA - held up middle stages of the run home.
MAGICOL IDEAL - raced wide early stages.
Race 7   MAJESTIC SON DG JONES MEMORIAL TROTTING CUP (HCP TROT)
VALMAGNE - weakened on the final bend.
SPLASH COLA - broke shortly after the start.
MATUA TANA - raced wide early stages. Trotted roughly on the final bend. Broke passing the 150 metres.
HEAVYWEIGHT HERO - trotted roughly final bend.
Stewards were advised on 15 October that PRES THE BELLE has had epiglottis entrapment surgery since last racing.
Race 8   ROSS STANBURY MEMORIAL (JUNIOR DRIVERS) MOBILE PACE
ABSOLUT RUSSIAN - jumped the crossing.
STAR WATCH - paced roughly over the crossing. Raced wide early stages. Paced roughly throughout the home straight.
KIWI X FACTOR - raced wide early stages.
CLASSY KID - raced wide early stages.
LUELLA - paced roughly due to an easing of the pace passing the 1300 metres. Again hampered passing the 1100 metres. Checked and broke near the 900 metres losing all chance.
PLAYA VISTA - hampered near the 900 metres due to easing of the pace.
I AM ADALINE - paced roughly due to an easing of the pace passing the 1300 metres and as a result galloped. Again checked near the 900 metres and broke in consequence losing all chance.
CRANBOURNE - Trainer B White was issued with a warning for presenting the gelding with incorrect gear. Checked passing the 1100 metres. Further checked near the 900 metres and broke losing all chance.
MISS IMPRESSION - hampered near the 900 metres due to an easing of the pace.
Race 9   GAVELHOUSE.COM HANDICAP PACE
ASHES TO ASHES - trainer S Smolenski was fined $100 for being late to notify a driver for his mare.
FUTURA EASTON - slow away. Returned to the stabling area with blood in both nostrils. A post race veterinary examination, including a scope, confirmed the horse to be a bleeder and was stood down for the mandatory 30 days, after which time must provide a veterinary clearance and then trial satisfactorily on one occasion.
JUST N AWE - held up final straight.
LENNOX BROMAC - broke at the start. Over-raced near the 1000 metres.
UNICO GEM - broke at the start. Held up over the concluding stages of the run home and as a result Driver R Close was unable to activate the notifiable gear.
FYNN FROST - raced fiercely throughout. Driver K Cameron drove with his foot out of the sulky foot rest through the run home. When questioned, Mr Cameron explained that his seat had slipped in the early stages and left him awkwardly placed during the running. He said that in the run home he had lowered his leg to prevent further slipping once his runner was more tractable. Stewards took the matter no further.
DOCTOR TIM - hung inwards final stages of the run home.
HES FAST AND FURIOUS - broke at the start. Raced wide early stages before being restrained to the rear to take cover.
JAKE - raced wide early stages. Raced keenly when in the parked position.
GEORGIE ZUKOV - when questioned regarding the entires performance the connections advised their horse to have over-raced through the middle stages.
Race 10   FAMOUS GROUSE HOTEL LINCOLN MOBILE PACE
BARKLEY - when spoken to regarding the improved performance the Trainer C McDowell advised that the gelding had received a better draw and raced kinder than its previous start.
SHESHEARTANDSOLE - trainer T Chmiel was issued with a warning for presenting the mare with incorrect gear.
ARCHAIC LUSTRE - raced wide early stages.
NARCISSIST - broke over the crossing losing some ground. A post race veterinary examination revealed a laceration to the off front medial heel. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance.
C R GOLD - out of position in the score-up. Stewards will be speaking to Junior Driver S Iremonger in the coming days.
ESSENCE OF EASTON - out of position at the start, Stewards spoke with Driver M Williamson who advised that the gelding paced roughly in the score-up. A warning was placed on gelding's barrier record.
AVA ADORE - held up early and middle stages home straight.
Race 11   ADVANCED JOINERY LTD TROT
UNIQUE ROSE - an enquiry was opened regarding Driver J Curtin shifting outwards prior to the 1000 metres causing another runner to be taken wider. Broke near the 800 metres.
CHIVASION - raced wide early stages.
EASY PICKINGS - trotted roughly throughout the final straight and was unable to be fully tested by driver B Hope.
GLOBAL FLIGHT - briefly hampered by a breaking runner passing the 800 metres.
MIKEMARO - raced wide from the 1000 metres before weakening over final stages.
Race 12   CLASSIC FLOATS NZ MOBILE PACE
DISMARA - held up early to middle stages of the home straight.
STAR REACTOR - Driver G Thornley accidently dropped her whip near the 200 metres.
FUN IN THE DARK - broke shortly after the start losing all chance. A warning placed on the mare's barrier record.
AUCHTERCAIRN - held up in the middle stages of the run home.
JONTY JAMES - raced wide early stages. Driver S Thornley reported his sulky tyre had deflated during the running.
