Trainer T Trathen advised Stewards on 7 September that DADNDAVE has had its hocks injected since last racing.

Race 3 - AIRPARK CANTERBURY HANDICAP TROT
Stable representative J Dunn advised Stewards on 9 September that due to its tendency to trot roughly around the Addington circuit it has been decided to send PRETTY MAJESTIC to the northern stable for its future racing.
Race 6 - CLARKSON SIGN STUDIO MOBILE PACE
Co-trainer M Purdon advised Stewards on 9 September that in consequence of scope results SMOOTH DEAL will undergo a wind operation in the coming days.
Race 8 - HYDROFLOW PACE
Trainer S Smolenski advised Stewards on 9 September that blood tests taken from UNICO DREAM showed no abnormalities adding that after a brief freshen up the mare will return to racing with its engagements generally restricted to grass tracks.

MAJOR MAC - paced roughly shortly after the start.
HELLO ADELE - raced wide early and middle stages. Weakened from the 600 metres.
SHARDS IN MANHATTAN - lay inwards under pressure on the final bend.
KERALA STAR - over-raced and raced wide early stages.
FIRE FOX - paced roughly shortly after the start. Raced wide early and middle stages. Lay inwards and paced roughly throughout the final straight.
DUFFY HOLLOW - over-raced middle stages.
RIVEERED - raced wide early and middle stages.
TWILIGHT BROMAC - driver S O'Reilly was spoken to regarding her use of the whip through the final straight when her runner was out of contention.
DECEPTIVE LEE - unable to maintain its position behind the mobile in the score up despite the efforts of driver B Williamson and as a result was several lengths out of position at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the colt.
Race 2   HYDROFLOW MOBILE PACE
CANSTAR - hampered by a breaking runner near the 150 metres.
ALTA ENDEAVOUR - paced roughly early stages. Held up by weakening runner final bend. Paced roughly final bend and throughout the run home. When questioned regarding the performance, driver S O'Reilly reported the gelding was not well gaited and frequently paced roughly during its races however this improved in situations where the horse was able to find the front. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities.
OLIVER NORTH - over-raced middle stages. Weakened final bend.
DOWN TO THE BONE - stumbled and then broke near the 150 metres after improving into the passing lane and challenging for the lead hampering trailing runner.
ARDEN'S REALITY - paced roughly middle stages and again rounding the final bend.
ARDEN MESSI - raced wide early stages before being restrained to the rear of the field.
Trainer C Harrison advised Stewards on 14 September that blood tests have revealed that OLIVER NORTH is suffering from a virus which is now being treated.
Race 3   SPECTATORS BAR & BISTRO (JUNIOR DRIVERS) MOBILE TROT
I DREAM OF JEANNIE - broke near the 300 metres. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.
JUSTAN'S SISTER - hampered by a breaking runner final bend.
JIMMY CARTER - out of position at the start by several lengths. When questioned regarding this Junior driver K Tomlinson, assisted by trainer P Williamson, advised that on the two previous occasions she had driven the horse in a mobile it had broken from its gait so had been cautious in her approach to not allow the horse to pace as it was sometimes prone to doing. Miss Tomlinson was advised it was expected she make a better effort to take up her position in future.
FAR FROM TRUE - had some difficulty obtaining clear racing room with driver G Thornley advising that because of this she did not release the mare's deafeners.
EASY PICKINGS - trotted roughly in the early stages of the run home before breaking near the 100 metres. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
SIOUX PRINCESS - when questioned regarding the mare's performance after she failed to run on over the final stages, driver E Barron explained her horse to have over-raced in the early stages but was lethargic inside the 1000 metres and had disappointed her. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Stewards will speak with trainer M Jones in the coming days regarding the horses recovery.
Trainer M Jones advised Stewards that SIOUX PRINCESS has done everything right and recovered well following its disappointing performance at Addington last week adding that the mare will continue with her current preparation.
Race 4   LAMB & HAYWARD MOBILE PACE
BEYOND WORDS - hung outwards in the score up and was out of position at the candy pole.
SHESHEARTANDSOLE - driver T Chmiel admitted using his whip on more occasions than permitted and the JCA imposed a fine of $500.
JENABELLA - cleared from the unruly for future mobile starts.
FUN IN THE DARK - cleared from the unruly for future mobile starts.
Race 5   ALLIED SECURITY HANDICAP TROT
THAT'S THE STORY - slow to begin. Hung outwards and over-raced middle stages.
TIME IN A BOTTLE - broke at the start. Weakened final bend.
Race 6   CUP WEEK - TICKETS ON SALE NOW! 3YO MOBILE TROT
OUTAMYWAY - out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver B Orange. Over-raced in the middle stages. Trotted roughly then broke near the 350 metres.
TIME UP THE HILL - out of position at the candy pole. Driver K Barron was issued with a warning. Raced keenly middle stages.
REGAL ATTIRE - when spoken to regarding the performance, co-trainer/driver M Purdon reported he was slightly disappointed with the effort. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
Race 7   AVON CITY FORD (NEW BRIGHTON) CUP (STAND PACE)
PRINCESS TIFFANY - slow to begin.
SELF ASSURED -broke at the start losing all chance. A warning was placed on the the gelding's barrier record. Will now be drawn unruly for standing starts at the trainer's request.
ANOTHER MASTERPIECE - had difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the home straight.
Race 8   VERO MOBILE PACE
INVALUABLE - over-raced middle stages. Weakened final bend.
BURNHAM BOY - raced wide early stages.
THAT ALEXANDER GUY - had difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the early stages of the run home. Held up by a weakening runner on the final bend.
BURLINGTON - held up by a weakening runner on the final bend.
HEISENBERG - raced wide early stages. Lay inwards on the final bend when being brought wider on the track.
STARS TONIGHT - paced roughly passing the 150 metres and had to be steadied.
TANGO TARA - held up early and middle stages of the run home.
BETTATHANFAST - pre-race warmed. Raced wide early stages. Weakened leaving the final bend.
Race 9   ALABAR ORDEAL TROTTING CUP (STAND TROT)
HEAVYWEIGHT HERO - broke at the start losing all chance.
PRES THE BELLE - trotted roughly inside the final 600 metres before breaking near the 100 metres.
OVERZEALOUS - broke shortly after the start losing all chance. A warning was placed on the mare's barrier record.
THE DOMINATOR - broke shortly after the start losing all chance.
SPLASH COLA - held up final bend.
MATUA TANA - trotted roughly in the early stages. Again trotted roughly throughout the home straight and was unable to be fully driven out.
WINTERFELL - tangled away. Trotted roughly passing the 900 metres and again rounding the final bend and in the home straight. When spoken to regarding the gelding's performance, co-trainer/driver M Purdon advised the gelding had been unable to make ground due to the fast closing sectionals.
WOODSTONE - held up final bend and until late in the run home.
Race 10   FIRST DIRECT TAXIS MOBILE PACE
BRAEVIEW KELLY - broke after 150 metres losing all chance. A warning was placed on the filly's racing record. Driver S Ottley reported the filly had broken after having the shorteners activated and she would be recommending gear changes.
AQUA SANCTA - raced wide from the 1300 metres and without cover from the 800 metres.
LOVESOMEWHERE - raced wide early stages. Over-raced middle stages. Weakened final bend. Paced roughly under pressure in the final straight.
ALTA SENSATION - raced wide early and middle stages until improving to the parked position near the 1100 metres. Weakened final bend.
