Race 5 - THE ALEX BAR & EATERY MOBILE PACE
Co-trainer M Purdon advised Stewards on 9 September that blood tests taken from FIRST CLASS have revealed that the colt is suffering from a virus and will be treated accordingly.
Race 6 - LIKE- SHARE- COMMENT AT ALEXANDRAPARKNZ MOBILE PACE
IM A GIGOLO - Co-trainer N Purdon's explanation that the boring pole on the gelding came adrift despite it being fitted correctly was accepted by the Stewards.
FABRIZIO - An information was lodged alleging that Co-trainer N Purdon failed to attend a Stewards enquiry when directed to do so in breach of Rule 303(2). The charge was admitted and the JCA imposed a $400 fine.

Race 1   WELCOME BACK AUCKLAND TRAINERS MOBILE PACE
COMEDY ACT - paced roughly shortly after the start.
JACKHAMMER JOE - tightened approaching the winning post on the first occasion and locked wheels with MISTER SLICK.
DESTINED FOR HEAVEN - back off the mobile at dispatch. Driver A Beecroft advised that the mare had thrown her head on several occasions and as a result was unable to maintain her position. Stewards noted Mr Beecroft's explanation however he was reminded of his obligations.
DRUM WITHERS - driver C Wigg admitted a charge under Rule 869 (3)(b) in that she drove carelessly approaching the winning post on the first occasion by allowing her gelding to shift inwards and tighten the ground of JACKHAMMER JOE which locked wheels with MISTER SLICK. The JCA imposed a fine of $400.
RAINBOW WIRI - Driver J Darby reported that he pulled a flat tyre from the 600m.
QUARTERBACK - raced three wide early.
MISTER SLICK - slow to score up and was back from position at dispatch. Locked wheels with JACKHAMMER JOE approaching the winning post on the first occasion. Driver S Wigg admitted a charge under Rule 869 (2) in that she used her whip on more occasions than permitted under Clause (b) of the Whip Regulation. The JCA suspended Ms Wigg's driver's licence upto and including the 4 October 2020.
COUNT LANDECK - inconvenienced late in the score up.
Race 2   OKTOBERFEST AT THE RACES -TICKETS ON SALE NOW MOBILE PACE
SKY FULL OF STARS - paced roughly and then broke losing ground shortly after the start. A warning was placed on the mare's mobile barrier manners record. Inclined to lay in rounding the bends.
NEW YORK MINUTE - checked by a breaking runner shortly after the start.
JOHNSON STEP - lay in badly late in the score up and over the early stages when being restrained.
Race 3   PAPER PLUS TE AWAMUTU TROT
DUCHESS OF CAMBRIDGE - broke rounding the first bend.
HORACE HORSE - inconvenienced by a tiring runner approaching the 700m.
SUNNY PEGASUS - broke approaching the first bend.
MAJESTIC STRIDE - broke passing the 2200m losing its chance. A final warning was placed on the mare's racing manners record.
ISAAC H - broke at the start.
REIGN - slow away. Broke passing the 300m.
KEYSTONE CAVALIER - broke passing the 1100m. Broke at the 500m.
GRIFFINS HALL - slow away. Broke at the 300m.
THE LAST GAMBLE - inconvenienced by a tiring runner approaching the 700m.
MACKALI - commenced to over-race outside the leader passing the 1500m. Weakened out from inside the 800m. A post race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormality.
Race 4   PGG REAL ESTATE MOBILE PACE
CASSIUS - Driver J Stormont advised that he did not activate the deafeners due to having the field covered.
LITTLE GEM - held up throughout the run home.
TROOPER COOPER - raced three wide early.
ANGEL OF MONTANA - settled three back one out early, improved forward middle stages receiving cover in the one-one position at the bell, attempted to challenge rounding the final turn and only battled to finish 6th beaten 4.7lengths. Driver Z Butcher could offer no explanation for the filly's disappointing run. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
JACCKA LUCAS - over-raced middle stages. Held up rounding the final turn and throughout the run home.
SIX TIMES A LADY - broke at the start losing ground. The filly was declared Unruly from mobile starts.
PATAGONIAN PRINCESS - removed from the Unruly for future mobiles.
THE BANKER - held up final turn and throughout the run home.
Co-trainer S Phelan advised Stewards on 16 September that ANGEL OF MONTANA has recovered well following its disappointing performance at Auckland last week and will continue its preparation at Cambridge on Sunday.
Race 5   P & M QUALITY PAINTERS MOBILE PACE
CEE WHATADELIGHT - locked wheels passing the 100m.
BROOKIES JAFFA - raced three wide before being eased toward the rear at the 1400m.
THE GREENKEEPER - caused a false start after breaking in the score up causing interference to the second line runners. Driver T Mitchell elected to start from the unruly position for the restart and will remain there for future mobiles. Broke again passing the 800m. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners record.
MCDAKNIFE - held up final turn and the early stages of the run home. Locked wheels briefly passing the 100m.
ONEDIN PUNTER - held up early stages of the run home.
COTTON SOCKS - held up throughout the run home.
JIMMY RICHTER - broke rounding the first turn and trailed the field. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners record.
Race 6   GREGORY EQUINE. DELIVERY NATIONWIDE MOBILE PACE
KARMIC WAY - failed to race competitively from inside the final 800m finishing well back.
JACK RYAN - broke shortly after the start settling towards the rear and continuing to pull hard for a short period before being improved forward three wide to race outside the leader at the 1000m. Paced roughly rounding the final bend before galloping impeding a trailing runner and losing its chance. The gelding was stood down to trial satisfactorily before resuming.
EMMBER - raced wide rounding the final turn to avoid a galloping runner.
THE BLUE BEAT - raced wide early then continued three wide throughout before being checked by a galloping runner with 300m to run.
NATURAL FIRE - raced three wide from the 1200m.
Race 7   GAVELHOUSE.COM SALES FORTNIGHTLY HANDICAP TROT
FLYING TAINE - weakened out inside the 400m.
LOCKSMITH - slow away. Broke passing the 1400m and again at the 1200m losing its chance.
SUPERFAST NINJA - broke at the 2300m and trailed the field.
GREY STOKE - broke at the start and trailed the field.
AS FREE AS AIR - Driver M White was cautioned in regard to his correct position for the unruly on the 10m mark. He initially was forward of his mark which resulted in a delay to the start. The mare was removed from the Unruly for future stands.
PRESIDENTIAL JEWEL - broke at the start and again rounding the first turn losing considerable ground.
XEBEC - chased hard from its 45m handicap and caught the field at the 1400m before finishing on strongly for 4th position.
Race 8   DUNSTAN HORSE FEEDS HANDICAP PACE
LADY CHEROKEE - began awkwardly. Contacted track markers when racing in restricted room entering the first turn and broke for a few strides.
HIGH POINT - broke for a few strides at the start. Checked when locking stays with SARANDON passing the 300m.
ACE STRIKE - broke for a few strides at the start. Raced three wide early before improving to the lead passing the 2100m. Shifted inside the marker line to avoid a breaking runner approaching the 300m badly affecting its chance.
BODRUM BOY - broke for a few strides at the start. Took evasive action shifting wider on the track avoiding breaking runners approaching the 300m.
SARANDON - checked and broke passing the 300m before locking stays with HIGH POINT.
ABOUT TURN - inconvenienced shortly after the start breaking for a stride. Improved forward approaching the 300m and lay in with its sulky wheel making contact with the hind leg of YOUNG CONQUEROR (S Phelan) which broke with resultant interference to trailing runners. An investigation established that ABOUT TURN had lay in despite the efforts of Mr Whittaker and a warning was placed on the horse's racing manners.
IM A GIGOLO - shifted out shortly after the start checking PARKER for several strides and was slow to begin.
YOUNG CONQUEROR - bounded forward at the start. Checked and broke approaching the 300m losing its chance with resultant interference to trailing runners.
PARKER - checked shortly after the start by IM A GIGOLO which shifted out.
Race 9   WISTERIA LANE. BEAUTIFUL NAILS FOR YOU MOBILE PACE
MAC'S TOMADO - held up rounding the final turn and throughout the run home.
SPIRIT OF ANZAC - raced three wide early before being restrained to the rear.
ALL YOURS - raced three wide early before being improved to race outside the leader passing the 1600m.
CARSE O FERN TOM - held up rounding the final turn and early stages of the run home.
LITTLE MISS PERFECT - held up final turn and early stages of the run home.
CAPTAIN MAX - held up final turn and throughout the run home.
FRANKIE JONES - over-raced in the score up.
Race 10   CHECK OUT CAMBRIDGE RACEWAY FURNITURE HIRE MOBILE PACE
MARIA KIRILENKO - got out of position in the score up and was unable to take its barrier position at one on the front line resulting in a false start being declared. Driver J Wallace explained that CLASSEY ROBIN on the second line pulled fiercely in the score up preventing him taking his position. Stewards accepted the explanation and no further action was deemed necessary. Badly inconvenienced by a tiring runner from inside the 700m.
VENETO - weakened inside the final 700m impeding trailing runners. A post race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormality.
BETTOR GET IT ON - badly inconvenienced by a tiring runner from inside the 700m. Held up early stages of the run home.
SUNSET RED - three wide early.
EXPRESS PLAY - three wide without cover from the 1200m.
LA BET - three wide with cover from the 1100m.
MEETMEINSORRENTO - three wide with cover from the 1100m.
EDAMFAST - three wide with cover from the 1200m.
SARABI - pulled fiercely in the score up.

SIDNEY CROSBY - broke shortly after the start and again rounding the first turn. Will now be drawn unruly for standing starts at the request of the connections.
SON OF PATRICK - driver S Phelan reported that he did not activate the deafeners due to having the field covered.
ANASTASIA ASHLEY - broke shortly after the start.
ALANA - reared and then broke shortly after the start. Broke again rounding the first turn and trailed the field. A warning was placed on the mare's racing manners record.

CIRCUS CIRCUS - slow away. Broke passing the 100m.
