Trainer B White advised Stewards on 27 June that REATTORE has been sent for a lengthy spell.
Race 10 - B FRANKS FARRIER/BREEN & CLELAND RACING STABLES MOB PACE
Driver B Shirley (BUCK) admitted a breach of Rule 869(2) in that he used his whip on more occasions than is permitted by Clause (b) of the Use of Whip Regulations. After viewing replays and hearing submissions on penalty the JCA imposed a fine of $200.

Race 1   027 633 1777 FOR CRAIG AT HARCOURTS MOBILE PACE
MAN I'M GOOD - hung outwards and broke in the score-up however recovered to take up its allotted barrier position at the dispatch.
LAST HARAH - broke in the score up but was able to maintain its barrier position. Held up rounding the final bend.
JIMMY RICHTER - raced wide into the first bend.
TAD LINCOLN - improved three-wide without cover from the 1200 metres and briefly raced four-wide passing the 1100 metres then hung inwards rounding the bend near the 900 metres before obtaining the parked position near the 850 metres. Weakened rounding the final bend. Driver R McIlwrick was shown the films and spoken to advisedly regarding the manner he used his whip with a lap to go.
Race 2   TRANSPORT SERVICES LTD NIGHTCAPS MOBILE PACE
MR JINGLES - forced to race three-wide passing the 900 metres and was under pressure and gave ground from the 600 metres finishing in a distant last placing. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities. Connections were advised the gelding was stood down until such times as it trials in a competitive manner to the Stewards satisfaction.
MISS IVY - raced wide into the first bend.
WECANDREAM - raced wide into the first bend.
KIWI JEWEL - held up rounding the final bend.
RIN TIN TIN - lay inwards leaving the final bend.
Race 3   VET SOUTH EQUINE MOBILE TROT
JASMINE JACCKA - broke shortly after the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the filly.
BRANDY AND DRY - placed in tight quarters near the 1850 metres. Trotted roughly entering the final bend.
ROBO TROUBLE - raced wide into the first bend. Lay outwards leaving the final bend briefly locking sulky stays with SACRED MOUNTAIN.
SACRED MOUNTAIN - lay inwards entering the bend near the 1000 metres and on various other occasions during the running. Lay inwards leaving the final bend, briefly locking sulky stays with ROBO TROUBLE and broke in consequence.
SPRINGBANK MASON - raced wide into the first bend. Broke passing the 100 metres and continued in a gallop across the finish line. Stewards lodged a Protest against 5th placing being awarded alleging the gelding had breached the Breaking Horse Regulations at this stage of the race. Connections did not contest the Protest and SPRINGBANK MASON was subsequently disqualified from 5th placing by the JCA.
EVERMORE - trotted roughly through the middle and over the concluding stages.
MAINLAND PAT - under pressure passing the 700 metres and gave ground from this point. Hung inwards on the final bend.
TOP POCKET CHANCE - broke racing into the first bend losing considerable ground.
SOUTH PARK - broke in the score-up losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare. Again broke passing the 700 metres.
IT'S SUMMERTIME - broke negotiating the first bend. Raced keenly on occasion through middle stages.
KIWI HEIR - hampered by a breaking runner racing into the first bend and broke in consequence losing considerable ground.
Race 4   OTAUTAU FOUR SQUARE MOBILE PACE
DUKE OF DUNDEE - contacted several track markers rounding the final bend.
MAGNETIC WATCH - raced wide into the first bend.
TETRICK - out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver B McLellan. Over-raced rounding the final bend when held up.
COOLHAND EASTON - raced wide into the first bend prior to being restrained to the rear of the field to obtain cover.
THE RED ROBBER - lay inwards leaving the final bend.
SQUARE DEALER - over-raced in the middle stages. Shifted down the track in the latter stages of the home straight when under pressure.
MAAHES - slow to leave the pre-race circle and was back out of position at the start. A final warning was placed on the barrier manners of the gelding.
Race 5   PENINSULAR BEACHFRONT RESORT MOBILE TROT
THE PEAKY BLINDER - broke briefly passing the 1800 metres losing some ground.
CUDDLY TROUBLE - broke leaving the final bend contacting and dislodging a track marker, then abruptly veered outwards, resulting in the sulky making heavy contact with the sulky of AFTERBURNER. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.
MISS JESSICA - over-raced in the middle stages.
TOLKIEN - trotted roughly when improving three-wide entering the final bend. Broke near the 400 metres.
AFTERBURNER - badly hampered by a breaking runner near the 250 metres with driver B Barclay becoming unbalanced in the sulky.
RUBY SEDDON - trotted roughly in the score-up and was back out of position at the start. Broke shortly after the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
DAVEY MAC - over-raced in the score-up. Broke shortly after the start with the crupper lifting up and the saddle slipping forward with the gelding being pulled up by driver P Williamson. Connections were advised DAVEY MAC must trial to the Stewards satisfaction on one occasion from behind the mobile, prior to racing next.
SUNNY VALLEY - broke passing the 450 metres.
Race 6   FRANCO SANTINO 'ON THE ROAD TO THE CUP' MOBILE PACE
IDEAL GLACIER - held up rounding the final bend and for the majority of the run home, only gaining clear racing room inside the final 75 metres. Junior driver E Barron reported that due to this she did not activate the removable deafeners applied to the gelding.
MY GEORGIE BOY - raced wide into the first bend.
MATRIKA - over-raced when wide in the early stages. Held up through the middle stages of the run home. Junior driver S O'Reilly reported she was unable to activate the removable deafeners applied to the gelding due to the cord becoming entangled.
RAKABEACH - raced wide rounding the final bend.

NOTTINGHAM K TWO - trotted roughly rounding the final bend before breaking entering the home straight.
HUMBLE LADD - raced wide into the first bend. Broke in the early stages of the home straight.
CRACKER HILL - driver B Williamson reported he did not activate the removable deafeners applied to the gelding due to having the field covered.
GERSHWIN - trotted roughly and broke briefly on several occasions through the early and middle stages.
Race 8   LOOKING TO SELL? CALL CRAIG AT HARCOURTS HANDICAP PACE
ROCKNROLL KING - broke at the start losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Paced roughly through the middle stages. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be lame in the off hind leg. Connections were advised the gelding was stood down pending a Veterinary Clearance.
MISTACULLECT - late scratching on Veterinary advice at 9.00 am. Connections were advised the gelding was stood down pending a Veterinary Clearance.
NOTA BENE DENARIO - broke shortly after the start losing some ground. Briefly hampered by a tiring runner near the 500 metres.
WHATA RAZZLE DAZZLE - weakened rounding the final bend.
BORN TO BOOGIE - raced four-wide entering the final bend.
STINGER LINDENNY - weakened rounding the final bend. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities.
SPIRIT OF ST LOUIS - driver M Williamson will be spoken to in the coming days for his use of the whip in the final 400 metres.
SPIRIT OF ST LOUIS - M Williamson was fined $500 for using his whip on more occasions than is permitted by Rule 869(2) and the Use of the whip regulations.
Race 9   FORKLIFTS NZ MOBILE PACE
BUCK - driver B Shirley was issued with a warning when driving with his right foot removed from the sulky footrest for a distance in the home straight.
MIDNIGHT PARTY - raced wide into the first bend.
LUCYS DELIGHT - hung inwards and contacted several track markers on the bend by the 1300 metres. Continued to hang inwards on the bends again contacting tracks markers near the 900 metres and rounding the final bend.
MY MATE BEN - held up rounding the final bend.
Race 10   BEACH ROAD HOLIDAY PARK MOBILE PACE
SUPERSTAR LEGEND - placed in restricted room racing into the first bend.
ALTIMETER - lay inwards for the entire final bend contacting track markers and proving difficult to steer for driver B Barclay.
MATTHEW EYRE - over-raced in the middle stages. Weakened from the 500 metres after racing in the parked position.
IDEAL DRAW - hung outwards in the score-up.
SEE YA WRITE - slightly out of position at the start due to the actions of an inside runner. Held up rounding the final bend and in the early stages of the home straight.
AMORE LANCOME - driver K Barclay was shown the films and warned for the manner she drove entering the first bend when placing SUPERSTAR LEGEND in restricted room. Shifted up the track through the middle stages of the home straight when under pressure.
THE MAROON MARAUDER - briefly held up in the early stages of the home straight.
Race 11   CRUICKSHANK PRYDE MOBILE PACE
The start of this race was delayed 2 minutes at the request of TAB control.
SHADZEE - paced roughly and hung outwards rounding the bends throughout. Weakened from the 700 metres. A post-race Veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities.
LONGUEVAL - driver B Williamson reported he was unable to activate the removable deafeners applied to the gelding due to the cord becoming entangled.
LYNRYD SKYNRYD - raced wide into the first bend.
THOROUGHLY DANCE - raced three-wide throughout and weakened from the 600 metres. Driver S Ottley reported the gelding had been striking the sulky wheel discs throughout and was difficult to drive.
ARCO - briefly hampered by a tiring runner near the 400 metres.
FLIGHT CREW - broke entering the first bend losing its chance. Will now be drawn Unruly for upcoming mobile engagements at the request of trainer N Williamson.
MY FEELGOOD ROMANCE - slow to leave the pre-race circle and was back out of position at the start. Hampered by a tiring runner near the 500 metres.
