Race 1   CHRISTCHURCH CASINO TROT
SUNGAIT'S LEGACY - inconvenienced and lost ground near the 2100 metres.
STEVE - began awkwardly. Hampered after 100 metres. Hampered again near the 2000 metres.
PRINCESS DAKOTA - broke at the start.
CHEEKY MONKEY - broke after 100 metres.
PASTRANA - checked and broke near the 2100 metres.
GREENBANK BETTY - hung inwards from the 2300 metres to the 2100 metres and then abruptly shifted outwards and made contact with the sulky of MAJESTIC ROLLON causing that runner to gallop with trailing runners also being hampered. Again raced greenly near the 900 metres by hanging inwards before shifting outwards abruptly. Trotted roughly in the home straight and could not be fully driven out by driver J Morrison. When questioned regarding the manners of his horse during the running, driver J Morrison advised the horse had proved difficult throughout and he would be recommending gear changes. The connections were advised the horse was now required to trial satisfactorily before resuming.
MAJESTIC ROLLON - trotted roughly in the early stages. Checked and broke near the 2100 metres. Broke again near the 1600 metres.
MISSUCCI - hampered and forced to briefly race wide near the 2000 metres.
ACTION PACKED - broke approaching the 600 metres.
Race 2   HYDROFLOW MOBILE PACE
KEY REACTOR - when spoken to regarding the performance, driver T Duley advised the gelding had to work too hard in the early stages to hold the front and that the horse was better suited to races conducted over a shorter distance.
REFLECTIONSOFMYLIFE - held up near the 500 metres behind a weakening runner. Driver T Chmiel reported he had not released the mare's deafeners.
IT'S A SHAWTHING - over-raced during the middle stages when trailing after having made an unsuccessful attempt for the lead in the initial 300 metres. Weakened near the 500 metres.
FOR TODAY - weakened near the 500 metres.
I MISS MUM - driver K Cox reported she sustained a flat sulky tyre near the 2000 metres.
MALDITO - over-raced early stages.
KING ARTHUR - briefly held up in the middle stages of the run home.
MIGHTY REACTOR - broke near the 2300 metres. Stewards questioned driver K Butt regarding the incident, where it was established that she had restrained her gelding to avoid being eased down the track by I MISS MUM however her horse had reacted poorly to being restrained and broken free of any interference. Raced fiercely for some distance thereafter and made contact with the sulky wheel of I MISS MUM near the 2000 metres. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing record.
Race 3   LAMB & HAYWARD PACE
JENABELLA - paced roughly when placed under pressure with 50 metres remaining having to be restrained for several strides.
MISS BEHAVIN - back at the start.
GOTTAGETTABEER - back at the start. Lay inwards throughout the run home.
TRUEHAWK - back at the start. Held up throughout the run home.
JAKE - back at the start.
KINGSDOWN ATOM - raced wide in the early stages.
BUCKSKIN - broke at the start.
ATARAH - lay outwards throughout the final straight.
SUPREME LINCOLN - began awkwardly resulting in the mare losing some ground. Badly held up throughout the run home. Driver J Cox reported he had not released the mare's deafeners.
Race 4   COMMODORE AIRPORT HOTEL MOBILE PACE
MAC ATTACK - raced fiercely when being restrained near the 2000 metres to surrender the lead causing driver B Orange some difficulty. Weakened near the 700 metres. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no irregularities other than a slow recovery.
HER MAJESTY - hung inwards in the final stages of the run home.
CALYPSO ROCK - over-raced near the 1700 metres when being restrained to take a trail. Held up throughout the final straight.
SENSE OF OCCASION - hung inwards in the score up and was out of position at the start.
NEYVELI FRANCO - paced roughly briefly after the start. Broke briefly near the 700 metres when there was an easing of the pace caused by a weakening runner.
Race 5   CLARSKON SIGN STUDIO TROT
CABELLA NOIR - broke after 150 metres losing its chance.
IDLE STUARTIA - broke after 150 metres.
BRIGHT GLOW - broke at the start losing its chance.
TEHORO DAZZLE - broke near the 800 metres.
DORA EXPLORER - broke passing the 800 metres.
HONEYS SON - trotted roughly in the home straight and then broke over the final stages when well clear of the 3rd placed runner. A post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any irregularity. Stewards will speak with the connections in the coming days regarding the horse's recovery.
TEQUILA SUNSET - held up in the early stages of the run home.
MICKEY JAY - broke near the 350 metres.
SOME TIME - hung inwards under pressure leaving the final bend and struck several track markers.
MISSALYSSA - broke briefly when attempting to improve wide near the 1900 metres. When questioned regarding the mare's improved performance, trainer A Faulks said he had made a change to the training regime where the mare had been galloped on the lead which he felt she had derived benefit from.
Stable representative A Tomlinson advised Stewards on 25 June that HONEYS SON has recovered well after trotting roughly late in its race last Sunday adding that minor changes to the gelding's bit and boots will be made in an effort to rectify this tendency.
Race 6   AVON CITY FORD JUNIOR DRIVERS MOBILE PACE
KRYSTAL DELIGHT - paced roughly for several strides near the 900 metres having to be steadied.
ALREADY GONE - raced four wide from the 600 metres.
Race 7   HRS CONSTRUCTION PACE
SOUTHERN STORM - hung when held up by a weakening runner between the 600 metres and the 300 metres.
PRAIRIE - broke at the start.
MOSSDALE MAC - broke near the 1300 metres.
FRANCO NATHAN - broke after 150 metres.
AMERICAN SNIPER - raced roughly when improving passing the 600 metres. Driver H Hunter reported the gelding had been striking the sulky footrests during the running. Mr Hunter was warned for allowing his gelding to trail a sulky wheel between the 900 metres and the 800 metres.
STARKERS - cast the left front shoe near the 600 metres. Weakened passing the 500 metres.
Race 8   PEEK EXHIBITION PACE
SISTER'S DELIGHT - tangled at the start.
MORDECAI - broke at the start. Hampered at the 700 metres losing some ground.
LOISSONYA - shifted outwards near the 1400 metres causing POCKET CALL to race wider on the track. Driver S Thornley (assisted by R Close) admitted a breach of the Push Out Rule and the JCA imposed a fine of $150.
MAGGIE - broke at the start. Raced wide early and middle stages.
REGATTA - hampered shortly after the start. Broke near the 700 metres.
POCKET CALL - broke at the start. Forced three wide near the 1400 metres where it remained thereafter.
CHAAAT - raced wide early stages.
FOUR STARZZZ SHIRAZ - broke at the start.
TERRIER - raced wide early and middle stages.
THE DIVA When questioned about the mare's improved performance today trainer J Thomas said the horse raced far better when able to get to the markers and also when leading or trailling as was the case today.
Race 9   TELTRAC COMMUNICATIONS MOBILE PACE
HES FAST AND FURIOUS - hampered near the 1050 metres.
TOM MARTIN - raced wide in the early stages until crossing to lead near the 1800 metres.
CHEDDAR MADE BETA - broke near the 1100 metres hampering trailing runners. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing record. Weakened from the 400 metres.
DYNAMITE - gave ground from the 700 metres. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Stewards will follow up with the connections in the coming days.
THE GOVERNOR - raced wide until the 1100 metres when taken forward to race outside the leader.
MASADA - weakened from the 400 metres. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
CHAMPAGNEANDWINE - hampered near the 1050 metres.
GARRY'S LEGACY - hampered near the 1050 metres.
FANCY - raced wide early stages.
Trainer G Payne advised Stewards on 25 June that DYNAMITE has been treated for a high white cell count following its disappointing performance at Addington on Sunday.
Race 10   BLUE STAR TAXIS HANDICAP TROT
QUIK SHOT - broke at the start losing all chance.
TAKE AFTER ME - drifted out in the home straight.
THE BLOSS - broke after 150 metres.
THAT'S THE STORY - raced keenly outside the leader from the 1000 metres until the 600 metres.
WITH ICE - broke briefly at the start.
Race 11   VERO INSURANCE MOBILE PACE
DONEGAL CARNBOUY - held up in the run home until near the 50 metres. Driver T Williams advised he had not activated the gelding's sliding blinds.
BAKER CREEK - raced wide early stages. Held up in the early stages of the run home.
PAT CAMPBELL - raced wide in the early stages. Over-raced when racing in the parked position near the 1400 metres. A post-race veterinary examination revealed lameness in the right front leg. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance.
STETSON - paced roughly near the 400 metres.
