Race 1   WELCOME BACK FANS OF THE PARK - WE MISSED YOU HCP PACE
YORKSHIRE - trainer J Young was cautioned for the late notification of the removal of the Pacifier. Broke for a few strides at the start and was slow away.
RED REACTOR - inclined to lay in rounding the final bend.
ON THE CARDS - made a clean beginning from its 45 metre handicap mark. Trailed the field before improving in the two wide line when inside the 700 metres to race outside the leader. Ran on finishing in 3rd place, 0.6 of a length in arrears of the winner. The last two quarters being run in 28.5 and 26.8.
Race 2   'THE ALEX' THURS NIGHT $18 STEAK SPECIAL MOBILE PACE
FORTUNE SMILES - weakened from the 400 metre mark.
SUNSET RED - paced roughly when shifting ground passing 150 metres causing a check to VESPA. Broke inside the final 50 metres finishing 4th well clear of any other runner.
SILK - three wide early.
VESPA - checked for a few strides passing the 150 metres.
Race 3   HYDROFLOW TROT (STAND)
HILL OF PEACE - broke racing into the back straight passing the 1800 metres losing ground.
BRIGHT AND SHINEY - broke at the start.
ASTERIA LAVRA - broke at the start.
DEBBIE LEE GALLEON - inconvenienced by breaking runners at the start. Broke passing the 600 metres losing its chance. A warning was placed on the mare's racing manners record. Driver T Cameron was spoken to advisedly in regard to his Unruly position at the start.
CEPHEUS - inconvenienced after the start by a breaking runner and broke when shifting ground.
RUBY RIDGE - slow away
SPECIAL LASS - broke passing the 600 metres.
Race 4   ALABAR MOBILE PACE
DOUBTLESS BAY - held up rounding the final turn and in the early stages of the run home.
ROMANEE - paced roughly rounding the final turn.
SPIRIT OF TREES - half a length off the gate at the start despite the efforts of driver M Collins.
POCKET BOOK - raced wide early.
MARATHON MAN - raced wide before improving to the lead near the 1700 metres.
KUYOMI - raced keenly at the rear and had difficulty finding clear racing room approaching and rounding the final turn.
Race 5   MCMILLAN EQUINE FEEDS WELCOME YOU BACK ON TRACK HCP TROT
A false start was declared after the barrier strand failed to clear the field, resulting in a 4 minute delay.
FLYING MONKEY - broke passing the 100 metres.
LEESA CASTLETON - inclined to lay in rounding the bends.
LIAISON - broke at the start.
MANCHESTER ON FIRE - broke at the start.
GREAT FANTASY - veered in after the start.
MAGNAFIQUE - held up rounding the final turn and early stages of the run home and then forced to race over the marker line when evading a galloping runner.
LITTLEBITOFLOVE - over raced middle stages. Broke approaching 700 metres.
PRINCE MACKENDON - inconvenienced by breaking runners at the start and was slow away. The gelding was removed from the Unruly position from standing starts for future racing.
Race 6   NRM - "FEED TO SUCCEED" MOBILE PACE
DIAMONDSRBETTOR - broke in the score-up, recovering to take up its position behind the mobile gate. Over raced middle stages.
TEXAS TIGER - raced four back one out then improved three wide without cover from the 500 metres, five wide entering the run home and fought on finishing 4th, 2.4 lengths in arrears of the winner. Driver A Poutama advised that the gelding paced roughly rounding the bend passing the 300 metres and ran on when balanced in the run home.
EMMI ROSE - held up early stages of the run home when at the rear of the field with driver M White not activating the removable deafeners. Mr White advised that the activation cord became entangled.
Race 7   'CREATINE' AT NEVELE R STUD HANDICAP TROT
ONE OVER DA SON - slow away.
BOYZ INVASION - weakened inside the final 600 metres. A post race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities.
KAY CEE - slow away. Broke over the concluding stages. A protest was lodged against the gelding's 4th placing on the grounds that it was in its incorrect gait over the final 60 metres and had not complied with the Breaking Horses Regulation. The protest was not contested and the JCA disqualified the gelding from its 4th placing.
Race 8   BRECKON FARMS MOBILE PACE
MILNER - held up by a tiring runner rounding the final turn and over the early stages of the run home.
MISTER SLICK - weakened inside the final 400 metres.
DOC HOLLIDAY - three wide without cover from the 900 metres,
Race 9   IRT - "YOUR HORSE OUR PASSION" MOBILE PACE
MARIA KIRILENKO - eased three wide at the 950 metres.
RAINBOW WIRI - three wide early.
VANHALEM - held up early stages of the run home.
THE BATMOBILE - three wide early. Amateur driver N Munro reported that the gelding had worked hard early and the effort told.
LYNTON CREEK - improved four wide from inside the 600 metres.
ROMANITE - three wide with cover before being improved to the lead near the 1100 metres.
EDAMFAST - held up rounding the final turn.
