DRESS SENSE - placed in confined quarters on two occasions in the run home by MAJOR JELLIS racing on its outside with driver T Mitchell taking hold passing the 150 metres. When questioned Mr Mitchell advised that his gelding contributed to the incident by racing greenly. | |

SPIRIT OF TREES - a false start was declared after the mare paced roughly late in the score up inconveniencing the second line runner DOUBTLESS BAY. Trainer M Collins was issued with a warning to improve the barrier manners of the mare. Driver S Abernethy elected to maintain its position at barrier 2. | |
SLY TERROR - broke free of interference approaching the 100 metres. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners. | |
THE WEST WING - the gelding raced with blinds and additional removable deafeners which were not notified. | |

DOUBTLESS BAY - the gelding raced with removable deafeners and blinds which were not notified. Trainer A Herlihy was issued with a warning under 865(2). Settled back early, improved three wide inside the 1200 metres to race outside the leader at the 800 metres and fought on to finish 4th beaten by 2.9 lengths. |

ALDEBARAN BONNY - broke approaching the 1200 metres settling at the rear. Junior Driver Z Meredith with the assistance of Senior Horseman B Hackett was questioned as to why he had not made a better attempt to hold the leaders back racing down the back straight inside the 1700 metres. He explained that the gelding was not trotting truly, being rough in behind and kept dropping the bit. His explanation was accepted. | |
LIAISON - broke shortly after the start for approximately 75 metres, losing ground and settling at the rear of the field. | |
MAGNAFIQUE - checked by a galloping runner approaching the 1200 metres. | |
OUR SPITFIRE - broke passing the 900 metres losing its chance. | |

STILL EYRE - checked with 1200 metres to run due to an easing of the pace, caused by a galloping runner, resulting in the right hand sulky tyre being deflated after being contacted from behind. The tyre came off the rim with the gelding being pulled up with 1000 metres to run. | |
RED CASTLETON - trotted unevenly over the concluding stages. | |
SOL INVICTUS - contacted the wheel of STILL EYRE after there was an easing of the pace near the 1200 metres. |

NURBURGRING - attempted to lead throughout the journey and was caught late in the run home finishing 4th beaten by 1.9 lengths. Driver J Dickie advised that it had a good run in front and could offer no excuse. | |
Trainer T Vince advised Stewards on 05 June 20 that DESTINED FOR HEAVEN has had her hocks injected and would continue with her preparation. |
