HANG ON SUZIE - over-raced through the middle stages.
SUMMA SONGBIRD - broke at the start.
ABADABADO - Driver R Holmes advised that he did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
MARANATHA ATLAS - broke at the start. Broke leaving the final bend hampering the trailing BUILD A BRIDGE.
GOTTA TICKET - broke when racing into the first bend.
TUSCAN SUN - slow to begin. Hampered by a breaking runner passing the 700 metres. Broke passing the 400 metres. Removed from the Unruly for future standing starts.
BUILD A BRIDGE - hampered by a breaking runner near the 200 metres.
GOOSE HEALY - over-raced middle stages. Broke near the 200 metres.
SHEZA MIGHTY MONARCH - broke after 100 metres.
MENTALIST - broke near the 700 metres hampering trailing runner.
Race 2   REEFTON SUPERVALUE & GILSENAN FAMILY PACE
PRECIOUS SARA - badly held up on the final bend and had difficulty obtaining clear racing room until late in the run home.
ASTUTO - crowded at the start and locked wheels with OLDE OAK EMMA and then broke for a short distance.
OLDE OAK EMMA - shifted inwards at the start and locked wheels with ASTUTO. A warning was placed on the standing start record of this mare. Driver G Smith advised that he would be recommending gear changes.
BEEN TO JENNY'S - hung inwards final bend and struck track markers.
RAFA NOVAK - broke at the start. Stood down until the completion of a satisfactory trial from a stand.
DANA DAWN - broke at the start.
DONEGAL CARNBOUY - hampered at the start and broke briefly. Paced roughly on the first bend when racing over the crossing. Over-raced middle stages.
BONNY'S GEM - over-raced middle stages. Held up early stages of the run home.
Race 3   GREYMOUTH STAR PACE
WESTBURN BLISS - hung outwards late in the run home locking wheels with STYX KIWI.
SA FACT - was sent to the Unruly by the Starter prior to the start due to unsatisfactory manners. This gelding will remain on the Unruly for future standing starts.
KRYSTAL DELIGHT - broke at the start. Paced roughly near the 400 metres after being shifted wider on the track by an inside runner. Trainers G & N Hope were issued a $100 Minor Infringement Notice for failing to affix a side carrier so as not to come adrift.
OLDE OAK ELLIE - broke at the start.
GENELIS - tangled away.
STYX KIWI - tangled away. Paced roughly through the early stages. Locked wheels with WESTBURN BLISS late in the run home after that runner had hung outwards.
FRIENDLY EYRE - broke at the start. Placed on the Unruly for future standing starts at the request of Trainer M Brown. Driver R Close advised that he would be recommending gear changes.
OWHATANIGHT - broke at the start losing considerable ground. Broke again with 1100 metres to run and was retired from the event.
WEBS REACTOR - broke at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of this gelding.
Race 4   TEAM TEAL LADY DRIVERS' CHALLENGE TROT
SODS LAW - held up early stages of the run home.
MY EYRE - hampered by a breaking runner leaving the final bend. Held up in the early stages of the run home.
THE BLOSS - hampered by breaking runner in the early stages of the run home.
ROGIE FALLS - broke at the start. Weakened final bend. A warning was placed on the barrier record of this gelding.
JUST ONE MORE - broke at the start. Trotted roughly and over-raced when leading through the middle stages. Broke leaving the final bend.
GIN RUMMY - broke briefly when racing over the crossing entering the first bend.
DD'S SUPER STUART - slow in the early stages.

Race 5   ELECTRONET SERVICES MOBILE PACE
BRING BACK LEAH - paced roughly in the run home.
MILLWOOD CLEOPATRA - broke at the start hampering trailing runner losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
GOTTA C TINTIN - over-raced when being restrained passing the 2100 metres.
TAUMALOLO - raced wide around the first bend.
TAMBA - paced roughly near the 1000 metres after a slight easing of the pace.
POCKET ROCKNROLL - broke near the 350 metres checking trailing runner. A warning was placed on the racing record of the mare.
CONQUISTADOR - over-raced early stages. Hampered near the 1000 metres after a slight easing of the pace. Badly checked passing the 350 metres losing its chance. Driver K Gill advised that the gelding had paced poorly on Friday and due to the horse pacing more fluently today she elected not activate the gelding's hopple shorteners.
BETTOR GRUNTER - held up in the early stages of the run home.
PRODIGAL PETE - hampered by a breaking runner at the start.
PRESIDENT PAT - paced roughly on the first bend when racing over the crossing. Held up in the early and middle stages of the run home.
LORD OF THE DANCE - gave ground from the 1000 metres and was retired from the event. A post race Veterinary examination revealed the gelding had suffered from cardiac arrhythmia. Stood down pending a Veterinary clearance including an ECG.
Race 6   HOTEL REEFTON LIQUOR CENTRE MOBILE PACE
A false start was declared due to HONOUR SCROLL breaking in the score up with KAYLA MAGUIRE unable to take up its position in consequence.
MY NIKAYLA - weakened final bend. Hung inwards striking a track marker on the final bend.
LINCOLN SKIPPER - held up by weakening runner final bend.
BAKER CREEK - raced wide in the early stages.
KOROMIKO EYRE - hung inwards near the 1100 metres and struck track markers.
HONOUR SCROLL - broke in the score up checking inside runner on the first attempt. Placed on the Unruly for future mobile starts. Trainer S Lock was issued a $100 Minor Infringement Notice for failing to affix a side carrier so as not to come adrift.
SHEZSOMETHINSPECIAL - raced wide in the early stages.
GIVEMEWHATINEED - broke in the score up on the first attempt. Placed on the Unruly for the restart at the request of Driver P Davis. Again broke in the score up at the restart. Stood down to complete a satisfactory trial from the mobile.
Trainer T Yesberg advised Stewards on 9 March that ADAM PATRON was found to have an elevated neutrophil count following its race at Reefton last Sunday.
Race 7   REEFTON CONTRACTORS PACE
JENABELLA - paced roughly near the 1600 metres when over-racing. Continued to race fiercely through the middle stages causing Driver M Purvis considerable difficulty. Held up final bend and throughout the home straight with the removable deafeners unable to be activated in consequence. Mr Purvis advised he would be making gear changes prior to the mare resuming. Stood down to complete one satisfactory trial.
PENNETTA - broke when racing over the crossing entering the first bend checking a trailing runner. A warning was placed on the racing record of this mare.
WAYNE'S DREAM - broke at the start.
EVIDENTLY - stood on the mark losing ground.
NADIRA FRANCO - Driver H Clarke reported that she had sustained a punctured sulky tyre passing the 1900 metres.
EVER SO BETTOR - broke at the start.
NO NUKES SKIPPER - paced roughly through the early stages. Over-raced for a distance near the 1900 metres and struck the sulky wheel of NADIRA FRANCO. A warning was placed on the racing record of this gelding.
SHOTGUN WEDDING - hung inwards and raced inside track markers passing the 1100 metres.
HELLO ADELE - checked by a breaking runner rounding the first bend.
Race 8   FLOORING SPECIALISTS OF CHRISTCHURCH PACE
MYANMAR PRINCE - held up on the final bend.
FORD RULE - Driver S Ottley admitted a breach of Rule 869(2) in that she used her whip on more occasions than permitted by Clause (b) of the Use of Whip Regulations. After hearing submissions on penalty, the JCA suspended Miss Ottley's Driver's Licence from the conclusion of racing on 8 March up to and including 15 March 2020 (3 days).
MR BOHANNON - broke at the start and lost all chance. A warning was placed on the barrier record of this gelding.
GOD ONLY KNOWS - broke at the start and lost all chance. This gelding will be placed on the Unruly for future standing starts. Trainer/Driver G Smith advised that the horse will be sent for a spell.
ROZZANO - paced roughly after 150 metres. Over-raced in the middle stages when racing in the parked position.
SILK - broke at the start and lost all chance. Placed on the Unruly for future standing starts. Trainer I Court advised that the mare will be restricted to mobile starts for its immediate engagements.
DONEGAL GILBERT - held up early stages of the run home.
TOMBELINA - broke at the start.
BOBBY'S MY GIRL - hung inwards near the 1100 metres and struck track markers.
ULTIMATE ROCKER - hung inwards in the home straight.
Race 9   GREG TOPP BETTA ELECTRICAL MOBILE PACE
FUN IN THE DARK - held up for clear racing room throughout the home straight with Driver A Cameron advising that she was not afforded the opportunity to activate the removable deafeners.
EL CHAPO - broke racing into the first bend.
FUTURA EASTON - broke in the score up losing considerable ground. Broke again near the 1100 metres after racing over the crossing.
MORDECAI - out of position at the start despite the efforts of Driver K Tomlinson.
JAZELLE - broke in the score up losing all chance.
ISLA'S JOY - paced roughly passing the 400 metres.
Race 10   BUCCLEUGH'S ON HIGH INANGAHUA-GREY VALLEY CUP (HCP PACE)
ANAMAJOR - broke at the start. Forced wider on the track near the 1400 metres.
FYNN FROST - broke at the start.
ROCKNROLL ROD - briefly hampered at the start.
NORMAN RICHARDS - Driver J Hay admitted a breach of Rule 869(4)(6)(b)(c) in that he shifted outwards near the 1400 metres forcing PAY ME VISA and ANAMAJOR to race wider on the track. After hearing submissions on penalty the JCA imposed a fine of $200.
PAY ME VISA - forced wider on the track near the 1400 metres. Driver M Anderson reported that the boring pole detached during the running.
Race 11   TEAM TEAL LADY DRIVERS' CHALLENGE MOBILE PACE
MARKHAM EYRE - Junior Driver S Diamant (who declined the assistance of a Senior Driver) admitted a breach of Rule 869(3)(b) in that she drove carelessly near the 250 metres when shifting ground inwards contacting the sulky wheel of OLIVE COOK resulting in MARKHAM EYRE breaking and losing its chance. After hearing submissions from all parties the JCA suspended Miss Diamant's Junior Driver's Licence from the conclusion of racing on 15 March up to an including 11 April 2020 (5 days).
AUCHTERCAIRN - Trainer B Negus advised Stewards that the mare had a cough following the race and will be treated for a respiratory infection in the coming days.
SONIC REIGN - broke racing into the first bend when racing to the inside of MISS DAYTONA. Stewards questioned Drivers G Thornley (SONIC REIGN) and K Butt (MISS DAYTONA) regarding this matter. After viewing films and considering the evidence, Stewards could not apportion blame to any one horse or driver and accordingly took the matter no further. Hung inwards and struck track markers passing the 1100 metres. Miss Thornley advised that the horse did not handle the track conditions.
MAKASAR BOY - raced wide first bend.
KENSINGTON BILL - raced wide first bend.
Race 12   THE ELLEY CLAN HANDICAP TROT
A false start was declared after the 10 metre barrier strand broke prior to the start being effected.
KAHRESS - broke at the start.
SCARLETT LANE - raced wide rounding the first bend. Over-raced in the early and middle stages. Weakened from the 600 metres.
CABELLA NOIR - weakened final bend and struck track markers. When questioned regarding the performance Driver R Close advised that he was disappointed with the effort after the mare had worked well leading up to this event. Stewards will follow up the recovery of the mare in the coming days.
MICHELLE - hung inwards in the home straight despite the efforts of Driver S Ottley.
PRINCE TEKA - broke at the start losing considerable ground. Hung inwards and struck track markers passing the 1100 metres. Authorisation of placings was delayed until Driver C Markham had viewed a replay of the start to determine whether he had been denied a fair start. Stewards lodged a Request for a Ruling under Rule 213(1)(j) to determine this. After viewing all the replays and hearing the evidence the JCA deemed that PRINCE TEKA had not been denied a fair start.
OVERZEALOUS - trotted roughly after becoming awkwardly placed close to the sulky of KAHRESS when being forced wider on the track passing the 700 metres.
Trainer E Crawford advised Stewards on 18 March that CABELLA NOIR has been treated for a high white cell count following its disappointing performance at Reefton on 8 March.
