Race 1 - SCHWEPPES MOBILE PACE
Trainer J Young advised Stewards on 4 March that bloods tests taken from TOMMY TUKAA revealed that the gelding was suffering from a virus necessitating its scratching from its Auckland engagement tomorrow night.

Race 1   BLACK DOG FURNITURE MOBILE TROT
BUN IN THE OVEN - out of position at the start by approximately 4 lengths.
JASINOVA - contacted track markers rounding the final turn.
I SEE FIRE - back from position at the start. Was taken wide near the 900m when leading to avoid racing over the shadows of the lighting poles before regaining the lead passing the 800m.
WANNA SNUGGLE - Co-trainer/Driver J Dickie defended a charge under Rule 865(2) in that the filly was presented with removable deafeners that were not notified. After hearing the relative evidence the JCA upheld the charge and issued a fine of $100.00. Broke and lost its chance approaching the 150m.
Co-trainer J Teaz advised Stewards on 05 March that ULTIMATE MOMENT had undergone blood tests following its disappointing performance which revealed the presence of a virus that has subsequently been treated.
Race 2   PRINTECH TROT (STAND)
RUBY RIDGE - broke at the start losing considerable ground before catching the field near the 1400m.
UNCLE LOUIS - slow early.
CHINSKI - Trainer S McCaffrey was cautioned for presenting the gelding with removable deafeners which were not notified. These were replaced with fixed deafeners prior to proceeding onto the track. Slow early.
Race 3   CHANELLE LAWSON PHOTOGRAPHY MOBILE PACE
WE HAVE A MACH TWO - had to be steadied passing the 1800m when conceding its position in the running line to EUPHORIA which shifted in. Paced roughly for a stride approaching the 300m when placed in restricted room between LUCY'S BADBOY, which lay in, and THE SITUATION, which had shifted away from the marker line.
GODZILLER - raced three wide until reaching the position outside the leader passing the 1600m.
LUCY'S BADBOY - lay in rounding the final turn placing an inside runner in restricted room momentarily.
THE SITUATION - held up final turn.
Race 4   FIELDLINE HORSE FLOATS AND TRAILERS MOBILE PACE
TO SIR WITH LOVE - over-raced middle stages when three back on the markers. Broke passing the 400m losing all chance. The mare was stood down to trial satisfactorily before resuming.
JODY DIREEN - over-raced during the middle stages after having been restrained to the rear. Improved three wide approaching the 900m but was then forced four wide near the 700m and weakened over the final stages. When questioned regarding her decision to improve approaching the 900m Junior Driver K Blakemore, assisted by S Butcher, stated that she had been concerned that the mare may choke down after pulling so hard during the middle stages so she elected to shift out to attempt to improve for safety reasons. After considering Ms Blakemore's comments no further action was deemed necessary.
MAC'S TOMADO - paced roughly passing the 200m.
Race 5   RAY WHITE TE AWAMUTU MOBILE PACE
PROP ROCK - paced roughly then broke approaching the 400m. A warning was placed on the mare's racing manners record.
SAMPAN - held up rounding the final turn and the early stages of the run home.
SUPER ACTOR - paced roughly when giving ground in the run home.
MILITARY MAN - raced three wide early.
SLY TERROR - a length out of position at the start despite the efforts of Driver J Stormont.
SCOTTISH POACHER - had to shift ground to obtain clear running in the middle stages of the run home.
BLAKE - removed from the Unruly for future mobiles at connections' request.
Race 6   DUNSTAN HORSE FEEDS MOBILE PACE
COTTON SOCKS - slow early.
WILDESTDREAMS - raced three wide early before being restrained to the rear.
PANDA GIRL - held up briefly passing the 150m.
SARANDON - held up when unable to secure clear running throughout the home straight.
Race 7   gavelhouse.com MOBILE PACE
FLEETING GRIN - lay in and contacted marker pegs when held up final turn.
COUNT LANDECK - lay in under pressure rounding the final turn contacting marker pegs.
SHILLELAGH - raced three wide early being improved to race one out without cover from the 1700m.
IVANA FLYBYE - raced three wide early before being improved to the lead approaching the 1600m. Driver B Butcher advised that he did not activate the removable deafeners due to having the field covered.
MADAME CONNOISTRE - held up final turn and again in the middle stages of the run home.
ACE STRIKE - lost ground passing the 400m when inclined to lay in. Had some difficulty obtaining clear running in the home straight before finishing on into 6th place, beaten 6.7 lengths. When questioned regarding the performance driver D Butcher stated that he was not disappointed with the run in what was the gelding's first race for six weeks.
Race 8   MARSH EQUINE & LIVESTOCK INSURANCE HCP TROT
RAVE NATION - Trainer R Paynter was issued with a $100 Minor Infringement Notice for presenting the mare without the sliding blinds. Had difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the run home.
MUMS STAR - broke shortly after the start losing its chance.
MANCHESTER ON FIRE - badly hampered by BATTLE COMMANDER and was unable to come forward to fill its position prior to the start. Declared a non-runner under Rule 213(1)(j) on the grounds of being denied a fair start.
DANKE - weakened final stages.
BATTLE COMMANDER - delayed the start when refusing to turn into face the barrier. Failed to begin badly hampering MANCHESTER ON FIRE and took no part. This gelding was subsequently stood down until it trials satisfactorily.
ALDEBARAN BONNY - broke briefly approaching the winning post the first time. Broke passing the 1500m and trailed the field. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners.
TEARS OF JOY - broke inside the 1900m and settled at the rear. Broke passing the 1200m losing its chance.
PRESIDENTIAL JEWEL - broke passing the 200m losing its chance.
LUCK OF THE MOMENT - broke shortly after the start and trailed the field.
Starter D Blakemore was shown the replay of the start and spoken to advisedly.
Race 9   ST PATRICK'S NIGHT @ THE RACES MARCH 19TH MOBILE PACE
ALLONBLACK - P Ferguson was approved as a late change of driver due to N Chilcott being unwell.
JACKHAMMER JOE - had to be steadied briefly near the 1750m to trail VENETO.
BETTER THAN MOST - raced three wide early before obtaining a position in the running line passing the 1800m.
SARABI - checked near the 150m by a breaking runner.
DAMETORO - held up final turn. Broke early in the run home checking a trailing runner and was retired from the event. A warning was placed on the mare's racing manners.
ITSTHEFINALCOUNTDOWN - lay in rounding the final turn.
