Race 7 - NEUMANN'S TYRES VIPAL HAMBLETONIAN 3YO CLASSIC (MOBILE TROT)
Trainer J Harrington advised Stewards on 26 February that blood tests taken from MUSCULATURE METRO showed that the gelding was suffering from anaemia with this being treated. Mr Harrington added that MUSCULATURE METRO will return to the workouts before resuming.

Race 1   GARY FYFE MASTER PAINTERS MOBILE TROT
RAINING IN MY HEART - out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver C Thornley. Trotted roughly passing the 700 metres losing ground.
MUSCLE POWER - the anti-choke device was removed prior to the start after it had broken in the preliminary. Broke after 150 metres losing all chance. Trainer/driver A Clark advised he would be making gear changes prior to the gelding resuming.
LISTEN EASY - broke briefly in the score up. Hung inwards and struck pylons on the first bend.
MONO GAMBLE - out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver S Ottley. Broke near the 400 metres. A final warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
PHOEBE AMORE - broke in the score up losing all chance.
TRAMPS LIKE US - out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver B Butt.
BREAK FREE - out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver K Hadfield.
RASTUSBURN - held up final bend.
ONE TWO MENNY - broke in the score up losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Held up final bend. Trotted roughly in the early stages of the home straight. Authorisation of 4th place was withheld until Stewards were satisfied the gelding had complied with the Breaking Horse Regulations.
MAJESTIC CHICK - back from the unruly position at the start. Broke near the 500 metres.
Race 2   MASTER PAINTERS NZ WE HAVE GOT YOU COVERED MOBILE PACE
INVISIBLE GIRL - broke near the 800 metres when being shifted wider on the track by an inside runner. Hung inwards final bend.
CHUBBY CHECKER - when spoken to regarding the performance, driver B Orange could offer no explanation. Trainer K Barron advised he was very disappointed with the effort. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a poor recovery. Stewards will follow up with trainer K Barron in the coming days.
TAXMAN - driver S Ottley reported a sulky tyre deflated during the running.
GO DAVEY - raced wide in the early stages until being taken forward to the parked position near the 1400 metres. Weakened final bend.
GOOD ON YA KIWI - held up early stages of the run home.
FRANCO TEXAS - hung outwards near the 800 metres after shifting an outside runner wider on the track.
SAM'S TOWN - raced wide in the early stages until being restrained to the rear of the field. Held up final bend and early stages of the run home.
Trainer K Barron advised Stewards on 4 March that CHUBBY CHECKER has been sent for a spell.
Race 3   FRAME CONTRACTING-PAINTING/EXTERIOR PLASTERING PACE
STYX KIWI - hung outwards in the home straight.
ALL NIGHT LONG - lay inwards in the run home.
SHE'S TOUGH - broke after 200 metres.
UBER EXPRESS - late scratching on veterinary advice at 3.45pm. A veterinary clearance is required prior to resuming.
NOT OVER - broke at the start losing its chance. Stood down to complete one satisfactory trial from a stand.
Race 4   HARAS des TROTTEURS SIRES' STAKES CLASSIQUE (MOB TROT)
CHEVRON ACTION - broke shortly after the start.
TAILORED ELEGANCE - hung inwards and struck pylons leaving the final bend.
KAHRESS - driver R Holmes was warned for half carting approaching the 1200 metres. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 800 metres.
RAIN MIST AND MUSCLE - hampered by a breaking runner near the 800 metres.
BLACK JACKET - hampered by a breaking runner near the 800 metres. Driver R Close will be spoken to regarding the manner he drove near the 1200 metres.
CRAZY N LOVE - broke near the 800 metres hampering a trailing runner.
BEV K'S ONE - trotted roughly in the score up and was out of position at the start. Weakened from the 600 metres after racing three wide through the middle stages.
VACATION HILL - trotted roughly in the score up and was out of position at the start. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 800 metres.

CLOUD NINE - bucked shortly after the start and broke losing its chance. Stood down to complete one satisfactory mobile trial.
IM A GIGOLO - paced roughly rounding the first bend. Again paced roughly when weakening on the final bend and hung inwards.
STEEL THE SHOW - over-raced early stages when being restrained to the rear of the field.
Race 7   LAMBERT DECORATORS MASTER PAINTER OF 2019 MOBILE TROT
ENHANCE YOUR CALM - broke shortly after the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. Broke again with 200 metres to run.
WAR MACHINE - trotted roughly in the score up and was out of position at the start. Trotted roughly over the concluding stages.
AMARETTO SUN - broke after 100 metres. Weakened from the 600 metres.
PRES THE BELLE - trotted roughly and lay outwards under pressure leaving the final bend and throughout the home straight despite the efforts of driver G Smith.
ONE APOLLO - broke shortly after the start.
THE DOMINATOR - broke shortly after the start.
Race 8   JEFF ALLAN PAINT & PAPER LTD MOBILE PACE
HE'S AFLYIN - driver T Williams admitted a breach of Rule 869(4)(6)(b)(c) in that he shifted ground outwards near the 1200 metres forcing MOSSMAN to race wider on the track and was fined $200 by the JCA.
GOT YOU COVERED - paced roughly shortly after the start. Lay outwards throughout the run home. Driver B Butt reported he did not activate the removable deafeners.
MOSSMAN - broke briefly approaching the 1600 metres. Forced to race wider on the track near the 1200 metres.
STAVROS THE TERROR - paced roughly at the start and had to be steadied.
Race 9   CHAMLANG PLASTERING, PAINTING & DECORATING MOBILE TROT
RACHMANINOV - hampered by a breaking runner near the 400 metres.
COUNT EYRE - tired rounding the final bend and broke near the 400 metres.
HONEYS SON - over-raced in the early stages.
CHASING GREAT - hampered near the 1300 metres after a slight easing of the pace. Weakened final bend.
SIOUX PRINCESS - hampered near the 1300 metres after a slight easing of the pace.
TEHORO DAZZLE - back from the unruly position at the start. Driver S Diamant was issued with a warning.
DORA EXPLORER - hampered near the 1300 metres after a slight easing of the pace. Weakened final bend.
Race 10   TOURETTES AWARENESS MOBILE PACE
THE GOVERNOR - had to be steadied near the 300 metres when briefly placed in restricted room. When questioned regarding the performance, driver B Butt advised the horse had felt lethargic throughout and he was disappointed with the effort. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. Stewards will follow up the recovery of the gelding with trainer T Bagrie in the coming days.
PEMBROOK LEGACY - momentarily locked wheels with PERAKI REACTOR which hung outwards shortly after the start.
DISTINGUISHED TASTE - hung inwards final bend and early stages of the run home.
TERROR THE CHRISTIAN - raced wide early stages. When spoken to regarding the improved performance, trainer P Court explained that the horse had been sent for a spell after disappointing at the end of its last campaign and had trialled well in preparation for tonight's race.
IDEOLOGIST - raced wide early stages. Driver S O'Reilly reported she had been unable to activate the sliding blinds due to the cord breaking.
PERAKI REACTOR - hung outwards shortly after the start and momentarily locked wheels with PEMBROOK LEGACY. Over-raced early and middle stages.
BIRD OF PARADISE - over-raced middle stages.
KANSAS CITY JIM - weakened final bend.
FUN IN THE DARK - held up early and middle stages of the run home.
Trainer T Bagrie advised Stewards on 4 March that THE GOVERNOR has recovered well following its disappointing performance at Addington last week and after a quiet week will continue with its current preparation.
