Race 1   WALLACE GROUP AMATEUR DRIVERS MOBILE PACE
CAESAR'S QUEST - when questioned regarding the improved performance, driver G Cook advised that the horse had picked up since being treated for an infection (notified 15 February) and that the horse had derived considerable benefit from its first day run.
ARMA TWOSPOONS - raced keenly through the middle stages. Weakened from the 500 metres. When questioned regarding the performance, driver D Reardon confirmed that the mare's over-racing had taken its toll over the final stages .
LEADING THE WAY - out of position at the start with driver D Stapleton issued with a warning. Driver D Stapleton advised he will be recommending gear changes and where possible the horse will be restricted to standing starts. Mr Stapleton was spoken to for the manner in which he used his whip and advised to change his action.
PAT CAMPBELL - raced wide in the early stages.
AVEROSS RUSTLER - weakened near the 400 metres.
JETENARA - raced wide early stages.
FOUR STARZZZ SHIRAZ - raced wide early and middle stages. Lay outwards in the home straight.
Race 2   ZEAGOLD QUALITY EGGS/GRAVES SADDLERY/RICOH TROT
GO MARG - held up middle stages of the home straight.
GOTTA TICKET - broke passing the 1000 metres. Stood down to complete one satisfactory trial.
FAST WHISPERING - tangled away.
LINE A LOVE - broke with 400 metres to run.
PETRONELLI GEE - held up early stages of the run home.

RAIN MIST AND MUSCLE - lay outwards in the run home. When questioned regarding the performance, driver C Thornley reported the filly had become poorly positioned back in the running after trotting roughly in the early stages and had to work hard to catch the field.
IN THE GROOVE - held up early stages of the run home.
SHANDON BELLS - broke near the 1600 metres.
Race 3   BLUFF PROTEINS LTD/DAVID OVENS BUILDER PACE
MEGAROCK - driver G O'Reilly reported he sustained a flat tyre on the final bend.
ATTACHE - broke passing the 700 metres checking trailing runners. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
ATARAH - trainer G Bond was issued a warning for being late to notify M Hurrell as his driver. Mr Bond was also warned for being late to notify the first starter would be racing with removable deafeners and blinds. Broke at the start.
ONEDIN SMILER - raced wide around the first bend.
BREENY'S MACH - broke at the start.
FRANCO HATTON - broke at the start. Checked by a breaking runner passing the 700 metres.
SUPREME LINCOLN - lay inwards near the 500 metres. Driver J Cox reported the mare had got her tongue over the bit after the tongue tie had come loose and was proving difficult to steer.
BLUE CHIP DELIGHT - checked and broke briefly passing the 500 metres.
SANTERIA - checked by a breaking runner passing the 700 metres.
GLENLEDI BANDIT - raced wide around the first bend. Lay outwards rounding the final bend and over the concluding stages.
Race 4   DYNES TRANSPORT/HOPE & SONS MOBILE PACE
K MACH - the required veterinary clearance was received. Broke at the start. Stood down to complete one satisfactory mobile trial.
TICKING OVER - trainer D Thompson was issued a warning for presenting the gelding without the notified blinds. Held up early stages of the run home.
CLASSIE PRINCESS - weakened from the 600 metres. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. The connections advised that the mare had not backed up from her first day run.
STRIKING GLADIATOR - raced wide early stages.
LUCY P - weakened from the 500 metres. Driver G Archer reported in his opinion the mare had not backed up from its run on the first day. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
MANON THE RUN - broke briefly passing the 1250 metres and raced wide thereafter. Held up rounding the final bend.
Race 5   OAMARU VETS/LLENNOCO LTD JUNIOR DRIVERS MOBILE PACE
MOTORING MAJOR - hung outwards through the middle stages.
FRANCO SHERBORNE - out of position at the start. Driver G Thornley was issued a warning.
UNO MIA - when spoken to regarding the seemingly disappointing performance, driver S Tomlinson reported in her opinion the mare had not backed up from her run on the first day.
Race 6   SPEIGHTS BREWERIES/G K FYFE LTD: WE MAKE IT HAPPEN TROT
SUNNIVUE PHILEAH - held up until late in the run home. Driver S Ottley reported she had not activated the removable deafeners in consequence.
EMMA FROST - had to be steadied on the bend near the 1500 metres.
ROGIE FALLS - raced wide around the first bend. Broke briefly racing over the crossing at the 1600 metres. Driver S McNally was spoken to for the manner in which he shifted ground near the 1500 metres which caused some crowding to EMMA FROST.
MY EYRE - raced wide around the first bend.
THE NIGHT SWEATS - trainer B Norman was issued a warning for being late to notify the mare would be racing with blinds. Broke at the start.
LOOK BOTH WAYS - tangled away. Hung inwards leaving the back straight. Broke with 500 metres to run. Stood down to complete one satisfactory trial.
MATAI JETSTAR - held up early stages of the run home and lay outwards once obtaining clear running.
SPURS OF WAR - broke with 200 metres to run.
JACCKA JOSH - broke at the start. Stood down to complete one satisfactory trial from a stand.
MAJESTIC ROSE - slow to begin. Trotted roughly rounding the final bend and broke with 300 metres to run.
Race 7   PICK & SHOVEL/OMALASS - DRIED MOLASSES MOBILE PACE
VICTOR TANGO - paced roughly at various stages throughout.
CANARDLY REMEMBER - held up early stages of the run home.
GOODTHINGSTAKETIME - out of position at the start. Driver G Shand was issued a warning. Mr Shand was also cautioned regarding the manner in which he used his whip over the final stages.
TIN ROOF BLUES - raced wide around the first bend.
VON RICHTHOFEN - required a sulky change causing a delay to the start. Raced wide in the early stages while improving to a forward position. When spoken to regarding the gelding's improved performance, trainer R Gutsell advised the horse had been working well for some time but had failed to replicate those efforts on race day and he felt that on occasion the horse had been less than genuine. He added that he had recently introduced a high energy feed to the horse's diet and felt it was now deriving benefit from this change.
ROZZANO - over-raced through the middle stages.
HONOUR SCROLL - over-raced through the middle stages.
Race 8   GLAMOUR HOOVES RACING STABLES/GOLDEN FLEECE HCP TROT
ONE OVER DOVER - broke after 150 metres. Broke again briefly near the 1600 metres. Trotted roughly over the final stages and was unable to be driven out.
MYSTICAL STAR - fractious at the start and was slow to begin. Placed on the unruly for future standing starts at the request of the connections. Held up early stages of the run home.
ALI LINDENNY - broke in the early stages.
SUN SWINGER - trotted roughly over the final stages and was unable to be driven out.
BK DAWN - driver P Wakelin reported she sustained a punctured sulky tyre near the 600 metres.
RITEUR - over-raced leading up to the 600 metres and struck the wheel of BK DAWN.
ONLY ONE WAY - trotted roughly under pressure on the final bend and broke with 150 metres to run.
SUNDONS FLYER - began awkwardly and was slow away.
Race 9   MCLELLAN FREIGHT LTD MOBILE PACE
ALEXY - held up final bend by a weakening runner.
GABBY'S STAR - raced wide in the early stages before being restrained to the rear with 1200 metres to run.
SHEEZA SPORT - held up final bend by a weakening runner. Broke when shifting inwards to obtain clear racing room with 300 metres to run.
Race 10   WOODLANDS STUD / MORRISONS SADDLERY PACE
POCKET CALL - swung outwards at the start hampering LOISSONYA and broke. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the gelding. L Dobbs was spoken to advisedly regarding the manner in which he used his whip in the run home.
LOISSONYA - hampered at the start.
AUCHTERCAIRN - fractious prior to the start. Broke and shifted ground shortly after the start checking another runner. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
OMAR SHARIF - driver K Tomlinson reported the gelding was inclined to hang inwards at various stages during the running.
STANDOUT - broke at the start.
GOTTA FUTURE - hung inwards on the first bend striking several track markers.
FLETCH - when questioned regarding the improved performance, trainer B Waldron advised the gelding had appreciated a return to standing starts.
HES FAST AND FURIOUS - broke at the start.
RONNIE PICKERING - hampered at the start by a breaking runner. Lay outwards over the final stages. Driver J Cox reported the gelding had been striking its sulky wheels throughout.
