Race 2 - N.I.H.R.O.A LOVES OWNERS NIGHT AT AP MOBILE PACE
Trainer B Mangos advised Stewards on 21 February that blood tests taken from DOUBLE UP revealed a high white cell count with this being treated with antibiotics. Mr Mangos added that pending a clear blood test result next week the gelding will continue with its current preparation.

Race 1   1-DAY.CO.NZ MOBILE PACE
NICKY JAY - paced roughly in the score up and was half a length out of position at the start. Continued to pace roughly over the early stages. Lay in rounding the final bend contacting track markers.
RECKON IM SMART - Trainer L Driver was issued a caution for presenting the gelding with removable deafeners which were not notified.
SUMATIME KIWI - caught three wide early. Improved three wide from inside the 1200m then weakened passing the 500m impeding a trailing runner.
ALEXIA ROSE - shifted out under pressure early in the run home and had to be corrected. Continued to lay out over the final stages.
COMEDY ACT - paced roughly under pressure inside the final 60m.
CHILLYSJUSTASHADOW - impeded by a tiring runner passing the 500m. Weakened final stages.
PATAGONIAN PRINCESS - paced roughly approaching the 250m and had to be steadied.
Race 2   MiNDFOOD MAGAZINE MOBILE PACE
BETTERBEBETTER - underwent a post race veterinary examination at the request of connections which revealed a slow recovery.
LAGERTHA - Junior Driver C Smith admitted a breach of Rule 869(2) in that he used his whip on more occasions than permitted under the Use of the Whip Regulations. The JCA imposed a fine of $200.00.
EDAMFAST - gave ground inside the final 400m after racing without cover.
OLIVIA RACHEL - the near side number hung loose during the running.
MADAME CONNOISTRE - had to be eased approaching the 500m after attempting to improve to the inside of LAGERTHA prior to that runner being shifted back down onto the markers.
MAC'S TOMADO - when questioned regarding dropping his left foot from the sulky footrest approaching the 200m Junior Driver D Ferguson, assisted by P Ferguson, explained that he had encountered difficulty in activating gear which was then released by hand. Stewards accepted his explanation.
Race 3   COMVITA MOBILE PACE
EUPHORIA - lay in near the 800m. Inconvenienced briefly near the 200m.
HAWTHORNDEN HUNK - paced roughly for several strides approaching the 200m when being shifted wider on the track by THE SITUATION. Driver P Ferguson advised that the gelding had reacted badly when he activated the sliding blinds in this incident.
GOUDA - back from position throughout the score up. Slow over the early stages. Tired from the 400m. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing performance.
Race 4   WHITE SALON MOBILE PACE
MAJOR BLINK - over-raced middle stages and in particular down the back straight the final time when held up.
JACKHAMMER JOE - over-raced during the middle stages. Locked wheels briefly with ITSTHEFINALCOUNTDOWN early in the run home. Junior Driver N Delany, assisted by S Phelan, was shown the replay and cautioned for the manner in which he drove when shifting ground in this incident.
DRUM WITHERS - over-raced middle stages when being restrained to attempt to take a trail on LYNTON CREEK. Weakened inside the 400m.
LYNTON CREEK - raced three wide with cover over the early and middle stages when unable to secure the position outside the leader which was being held by DRUM WITHERS. Broke passing the 1600m but soon settled and was then obliged to remain three wide before weakening inside the final 400m.
TO SIR WITH LOVE - held up for some distance racing down the back the final time and then broke near the 450m losing its chance. When questioned Junior Driver A Harrison advised that her mare had been racing keenly and had lay in when improving to the outside of MR INCREDIBLE, which was weakening, resulting in contact to that runner's off-side sulky wheel. After considering the matter no further action was deemed necessary other than to note the circumstances.
ITSTHEFINALCOUNTDOWN - Trainer K Marshall was cautioned for the late notification of the addition of removable deafeners & removal of blinds. Locked wheels with JACKHAMMER JOE briefly early in the run home.
Race 5   FLAIR HANDICAP TROT
MANCHESTER ON FIRE - broke at the start. Broke passing the 2300m losing its chance.
THE LAST GAMBLE - stood on the mark losing considerable ground. A warning was placed on the mare's standing start manners.
BATTLE COMMANDER - delayed the start when slow to move into position. Weakened inside the final 400m.
SKEE KING - broke shortly after the start and trailed the field.
LUCK OF THE MOMENT - broke shortly after the start and trailed the field.
THE HULK - slow away adding to its 40m handicap before catching the field near the 700m. Impeded rounding the final turn by a tiring runner.
Race 6   DINNY JOHNSTON WAIKATO GUINEAS (MOBILE PACE)
TEXAS TIGER - held up final turn and early stages of the run home.
JACK RYAN - lay out over the early stages. Broke rounding the first turn losing considerable ground. Broke again passing the 400m when at the rear. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing manners.
CRUZEE MACH - held up final turn and early stages of the run home.
Race 7   WAIKATO TROTTING BREEDERS STAKES (HANDICAP TROT)
LADY BE GOOD - broke shortly after the start losing ground.
PRESIDENTIAL JEWEL - held up rounding the final turn. Trotted roughly for a stride near the 70 metres.
MOLLY BONES - slow to begin.
TICKLE ME PINK - trailed three back on the outer before improving three wide from the 700m but was under pressure on the final turn and failed to run on to finish at the rear. When questioned Trainer/Driver T Herlihy could offer no explanation and was disappointed with the run. A post race veterinary examination revealed some soreness in the back along with a delayed recovery. Stewards will follow up with Trainer T Herlihy regarding the mare's recovery in the coming days.
KENNY'S DREAM - broke approaching the 1700m losing its chance.
Trainer T Herlihy confirmed to Stewards on 26 February that TICKLE ME PINK is receiving treatment for a sore back and will continue its preparation when this is successfully completed.
Race 8   BLACK DOG FURNITURE WAIKATO BOP PACERS CUP FINAL (HCP PACE)
L L COOL J - slow to begin and then paced roughly losing ground before settling.
BUGALUGS - broke at the start. Held up rounding the final turn. A warning was placed on the gelding's standing start record.
FLEETING GRIN - raced clear in the lead early and middle stages.
ABOUT TURN - held up rounding the final turn.
CALLIE'S DELIGHT - tangled for a few strides at the start.
MACH LITTLE SOAKY - held up late in the run home.
SHILLELAGH - held up final turn and early stages of the run home.
Race 9   AUTO TRAIL MOBILE PACE
VIVA LAS VEGAS - held up rounding the final turn and raced greenly when being improved down into the passing lane near the 150m.
BETTOR GET IT ON - caused a false start when laying out badly in the score up checking outside runners. This resulted in a delay of approximately 9 minutes after MARIANNA BROMAC and ROUGH AND READY required replacement sulkies. A warning was placed on BETTOR GET IT ON's barrier manners. Driver B Butcher elected to maintain his barrier position for the restart.
PANDA GIRL - Driver P Jeffries was cautioned for allowing his mare to shift inwards early in the run home which resulted in BANKERS GOLD being disappointed for a run to its inside.
BANKERS GOLD - held up final turn. Paced roughly when disappointed for a run passing the 150m. Driver S McCaffrey advised that he did not activate the removable deafeners as a result.
Race 10   DUNSTAN HORSE FEEDS MOBILE PACE
KOLOVOS - locked wheels with TEMPO ROSE briefly approaching the 50m.
STARRY STAR - restrained middle stages to take up a position three back on the marker line.
TEMPO ROSE - locked wheels with KOLOVOS briefly approaching the 50m.
Race 11   DON'T MISS QUIZ NIGHT AT THE RACES 'MARCH 4' HCP TROT
WISHING CRYSTAL - broke at the start losing its chance and was retired from the event. The mare was placed on the Unruly for future stands at the Trainer's request.
HESTON HALL - lay in under pressure throughout the run home.
STRENGTH OF HEART - unable to hold the leader's back inside the 1500m which enabled ISAAC H to shift down to fill that position.
PEGASUS SPEED - broke shortly after the start and trailed the field.
SUNNY PEGASUS - a late change of gear was approved due to an office error with the Blinds and Pacifier being removed. Broke passing the 200m.
RAVE NATION - inconvenienced by a breaking runner early in the run home.
SAVITSKAYA - swung around when the barriers were released and trailed the field throughout.
