Race 9 - PGG WRIGHTSON NZ STANDARDBRED BREEDERS STAKES (MOB PACE)
The connections of PRINCESS TIFFANY advised Stewards on 17 February that the mare has recovered well following its performance last week with a clear ECG being produced to enable her to continue with her current campaign.
Race 10 - HRS CONSTRUCTION MOBILE PACE
Trainer M Purvis advised Stewards on 19 February that DIAMOND PARTY has been treated for mild anaemia since racing at Addington last Friday. Mr Purvis added that the filly has pleased him this week and will race at Invercargill on Friday without a pacifier.

Race 1   CHRISTCHURCH CASINO MOBILE PACE
ARDEN'S SWEETHEART - weakened final bend.
LETS HUSTLE - paced roughly near the 1350 metres.
AROCKNATTHEPARK - driver C Thornley reported that he carried a flat sulky tyre from the 1000 metres.
CLASSY KID - raced wide early stages. Driver A Lethaby reported that she carried a flat sulky tyre from the 1000 metres. Mrs Lethaby was questioned regarding the way in which she drove leading up to the incident where her tyre was punctured where she was observed to encourage her runner with the whip and reins prior to becoming awkwardly positioned close to the sulky of AROCKNATTHEPARK. Mrs Lethaby explained that she was in danger of being pushed out as the 1000 metres was approaching so improved rapidly to avoid this happening however had to steady soon after which caused an easing of the pace for the trailing JAFFA JOSH (P Borcoskie) . When questioned P Borcoskie advised that his runner had raced intractably throughout which had contributed to this incident so Stewards took the matter no further other than to note the circumstances.
JAZELLE - hung inwards final bend losing ground. Over-raced throughout. Driver J Dunn reported that because of this he did not have the opportunity to activate the mare's hopple shorteners.
JAFFA JOSH - trainer P Borcoskie was warned for presenting the gelding without the notified blinds. Hung outwards through the early stages causing driver P Borcoskie considerable difficulty. Broke near the 950 metres after becoming awkwardly placed close to the sulky of CLASSY KID when over-racing and after a slight easing of the pace. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing record. Mr Borcoskie advised he would consider making gear changes prior to the gelding resuming.
Race 2   AVON CITY FORD (JUNIOR DRIVERS) MOBILE TROT
LISTEN EASY - broke near the 1500 metres hampering trailing runners.
CHASING GREAT - weakened from the 600 metres.
CABELLA NOIR - raced wide early stages before being restrained to the rear of the field. Inconvenienced by a breaking runner approaching the 800 metres. Weakened soon after and was distanced at the finishing line.
EMMA FROST - driver K Tomlinson reported the mare had trotted roughly in the score up and through the early stages.
TAKE AFTER ME - raced wide early stages before being restrained to the rear of the field. Broke near the 850 metres when shifting wider on the track to avoid a breaking runner.
IN SEQUENCE - broke near the 900 metres.
TEHORO DAZZLE - broke at the start. A warning was placed on the barrier record of the mare.
COUNT EYRE - hampered by a breaking runner near the 1500 metres. Broke near the 1000 metres.
TONIQUE DE FEU - pre-race warmed. Broke shortly after the start losing its chance.
SIOUX PRINCESS - hampered by a breaking runner near the 1500 metres.
Race 3   GAZE COMMERCIAL MOBILE PACE
LOYALIST - weakened from the 600 metres. Driver G O'Reilly reported the gelding had travelled well in the early stages but disappointed him when asked for an effort inside the final 1000 metres. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. A warning was placed on the gelding's racing performance.
HEROES SQUARE - driver J Dunn reported he did not release the deafeners due to having the field covered.
PICTURE ME - raced wide early stages.
FIERY REACTOR - broke near the 1300 metres losing its chance.
ARCHAIC LUSTRE - over-raced when wide on the track in the early stages. Continued to over-race through the middle stages. Weakened final bend.
INVALUABLE - co-trainers C Dalgety & N Purdon were fined $125 by the JCA after the gelding was presented without the notified blinds.
Race 4   IRT MOBILE TROT
ROYAL DEL - broke for a considerable distance shortly after the start. Disqualified from 5th placing by the JCA.
WANNA PLAY WITH ME - trotted roughly in the home straight.
MUSCLE POWER - broke at the start.
CROWN RANGE - weakened from the 600 metres.
Race 5   GARRY THOMPSON - FERNLAW PACE
ROCKNROLL KING - broke at the start.
MR BOHANNON - held up early stages of the home straight.
THE KAIK - held up final bend.
TOMBELINA - weakened final bend.
FLAMBOYANT - broke at the start.
SPANNA - sustained a punctured sulky tyre near the 250 metres.
SILENT RAPTURE - a warning was placed on the filly's barrier record when despite the efforts of driver C DeFilippi she lunged through the barriers causing a delay. Over-raced middle stages.
AVA ADORE - broke the near hind hopple loop during the running. This gear was inspected and found to be in previously good condition.
KHAKI NUI - driver A Lethaby was fined $200 after admitting driving carelessly near the 250 metres when allowing her runner to contact and puncture the sulky tyre of SPANNA.
CHAL BE - broke at the start. Had difficulty obtaining clear racing room in the home straight with driver J Curtin reporting he had not released the gelding's deafeners.
PEMBROOK LEGACY - broke shortly after the start. Held up throughout the home straight. Driver S McNally reported the deafeners were not activated in consequence.
Race 6   DIAMOND CREEK FARM MOBILE PACE
LIFES A BEACH - paced roughly after 100 metres and had to be steadied. Again paced roughly in the home straight.
SHANIKA - broke in the score up losing all chance.
BOORAA - paced roughly passing the 100 metres.
SHEEZAGOLDENGIRL - over-raced middle stages. Weakened final bend.
SWEET LIZZIE - trainer T Stratford was issued a warning for failing to notify the filly would be racing with blinds and removable deafeners. Over-raced and hung inwards through the middle stages. Lay inwards in the run home.
ARIELLA - driver R Close reported the filly had hung inwards badly on the final bend.
ELIZA DAVOLTA - broke after 150 metres.
Race 7   MASTER PAINTERS NZ RACE NIGHT 28TH FEBRUARY MOBILE PACE
DOCTOR TIM - held up early and middle stages of the run home.
I'M TOUGH - paced roughly when being taken forward between the 1400 metres and the 1200 metres and had to be steadied for some distance.
BALTIMORE JACK - out of position at the start despite the efforts of driver S Tomlinson. A warning was placed on the gelding's barrier record.
HAYDEN'S MEDDLE - held up final bend. Driver G Smith was issued a warning for the abrupt manner in which he shifted ground outwards near the 200 metres.
Race 8   COMMODORE AIRPORT HOTEL MOBILE TROT
OVERZEALOUS - broke shortly after the start. Raced wide until being restrained to the rear of the field near the 1400 metres.
MEDUSA - driver K Newman (assisted by C Ferguson) was spoken to regarding the abrupt manner he shifted ground leaving the final bend which briefly inconvenienced ONLY ONE WAY.
GLOBE TREKKER - out of position at the start. Driver L McKay was issued with a warning.
ONLY ONE WAY - briefly inconvenienced near the 220 metres having to be steadied. Lay inwards through the final straight. Driver K Tomlinson was advised that it was expected she make a better effort to maintain a straight course to ensure no rival runner is hampered.
MAJESTIC HURRICANE - over-raced in the early and middle stages.
Race 9   PI & GJ KENNARD BLOODSTOCK MOBILE PACE
PRINCE ART - hung outwards and raced roughly in the early stages. Over-raced middle stages. Had to be steadied near the 900 metres when awkwardly placed close to the sulky of BEAU VISTA. Lay outwards over the final stages.
MINI MINE YET - locked wheels with LUELLA after that runner shifted inwards over the final stages. Promoted to 1st place by the JCA.
LUELLA - shifted inwards over the final stages and locked wheels with the improving MINI MINE YET (S O'Reilly) placed 2nd. Stewards lodged a protest against 1st placing being awarded alleging interference and after viewing the replays and hearing evidence from Stewards, driver B Hope (assisted by J Dunn) and S O'Reilly (assisted by G O'Reilly) the JCA upheld the protest and relegated LUELLA to 2nd place. An associated charge under Rule 869(3)(b) was lodged against B Hope with the matter adjourned to a later date. Stewards also opened an inquiry into the conduct of G Hope when assisting B Hope in this matter.
KANSAS CITY JIM - raced wide early stages and was restrained to the rear of the field near the 1500 metres. Weakened 600 metres.
GIVEMEWHATINEED - broke in the early stages of the score up losing all chance.
SKIPPERLAND - trainer T Bagrie was issued a $100 Minor Infringement Notice after the mare was presented without the notified pacifier.
Driver B Hope (assisted by J Dunn) admitted a breach of Rule 869(3)(b) in that he drove carelessly when allowing his runner LUELLA to shift inwards over the final stages which caused interference to MINI MINE YET and the JCA suspended his licence from the conclusion of racing on 28 February up to and including 6 March 2020 (2 days).
Race 10   PEEK EXHIBITION PACE
PENULTIMATE FELLA - weakened passing the 600 metres before veering outwards near the 500 metres. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. A warning was placed on the racing record of the gelding.
SHE'S SO COOL - began awkwardly.
MISS BEHAVIN - held up for clear racing room in the home straight.
STRONG ENOUGH - paced roughly on various occasions through the middle stages. Weakened from the 600 metres.
PEMBROOK TILLY - weakened from the 600 metres.
