Co-Trainer C Dalgety advised Stewards on 12 February that FLAME LADY has shown no ill-effects from its run at Orari on 5 February and will continue with its current preparation.

Race 3 - PHILIP WAREING LTD MOBILE PACE
Co-Trainer B Hill advised Stewards on 14 February that blood tests revealed no abnormalities with ITZ THE CON ARTIST after its disappointing performance at Methven on Sunday with Mr Hill adding that the filly will return to workouts before resuming.
Race 7 - JOHN MORRISON FARRIER/YALDHURST HOTEL MOBILE PACE
Trainer S Dolan advised Stewards on 10 February that FIRENZE AMORE was found to have a fractured cannon bone following its race at Methven on Sunday with surgery being undertaken.
Race 8 - PGG WRIGHTSON LTD MOBILE PACE
The connections of THREE IDEAS advised Stewards on 14 February that a veterinary examination including x-rays of a stifle revealed no abnormalities with the gelding continuing with its current campaign.

Race 1   FAHEY FENCE HIRE MOBILE PACE
FRANCO TEXAS - held up final bend.
DIEGO - raced wide early stages. Over-raced for a distance passing the 1300 metres when being restrained to obtain cover. Broke near the 100 metres. Stewards questioned driver J Cox regarding the manner he drove near the 100 metres when DIEGO made contact with MEMPHIS TENNESSEE with both runners being checked. After considering his explanation, Mr Cox was issued with a charge under Rule 869(3)(d) alleging that he had driven dangerously by shifting his runner inwards to make contact with MEMPHIS TENNESSEE. Mr Cox admitted the breach and after viewing replays of the incident and hearing from Stewards and Mr Cox, the JCA adjourned the matter to allow both parties to make written submissions on penalty.
KRUIZR - raced wide early stages.
BRINGITONHOME - paced roughly in the early stages. Held up final bend.
JAY TEE TYRON - held up throughout the home straight.
EUREKA - hampered near the 100 metres.
MONGOLIAN CAVALRY - raced wide early stages.
MEMPHIS TENNESSEE - held up early stages of the run home. Checked and raced roughly near the 100 metres losing its chance.
The JCA delivered their penalty decision regarding an admitted breach of dangerous driving by J Cox (DIEGO). Mr Cox's licence was suspended from the conclusion of racing on 8 March up to and including 18 April 2020.
Race 2   AIRPARK CANTERBURY TROT
EMMA FROST - broke after 150 metres.
BJ LINDENNY - trainer D Bennett was cautioned for being late to present BJ LINDENNY on course. Broke near the 2200 metres.
ONE GUZ HALL - crowded at the start. Broke after 150 metres.
SHE'S ALLTHE CRAZE - crowded at the start.
COUNT EYRE - began awkwardly. Driver B Laughton reported the gelding trotted roughly in the home straight.
IDLE STUARTIA - raced lethargically inside the final 800 metres and weakened on the final bend. When spoken to regarding the mare's seemingly disappointing performance, trainer R Austin was unable to offer any explanation. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a poor recovery. Stewards will follow up with Mr Austin in the coming days.
MY EYRE - broke briefly at the start.
MAJESTIC LAVROS - co-trainers M Jones & B Hill were cautioned after the gelding raced with removable deafeners instead of the notified fixed deafeners. Trotted roughly throughout the run home and could not be fully tested by driver S Ottley.
HONEYS SON - trainer K Ford was cautioned for being late to present HONEYS SON on course. Trotted roughly through the middle stages.
CHEVRON ACTION - co-trainers C Dalgety & N Purdon were cautioned for being late to present CHEVRON ACTION on course. Pre-race warmed. Raced wide early stages. Broke near the 2100 metres. Driver M Anderson reported the filly had hung inwards badly during the running causing him difficulty.
AORANGI - broke near the 2100 metres.
Trainer R Austin advised Stewards that IDLE STUARTIA has been treated with antibiotics subsequent to its disappointing performance at Addington last week with the mare continuing with its current preparation.
Race 3   PGG WRIGHTSON STANDARDBRED 'HARNESS 7000' (MOBILE PACE)
GOTTA C TINTIN - weakened final bend and hung inwards striking several track markers.
DISTINGUISHED TASTE - driver B Orange was spoken to advisedly for the manner in which he attempted to shift ground near the 650 metres which caused his runner to race in restricted room for some distance.
TYRON'S BIT OF LEMON - briefly held up near the 300 metres behind KISS THE GIRLS having to be steadied for a short distance until able to ease CHEDDAR VALLEY wider on the track. Driver T Williams was spoken to advisedly for the manner he drove approaching the 600 metres when failing to relieve pressure on an inside runner causing it to race in restricted room for longer than necessary.
IM A GIGOLO - pre-race warmed. Raced wide early stages.
Race 4   MCMILLAN EQUINE FEEDS HANDICAP PACE
SWELL TIME - broke at the start and shifted inwards checking SAGWITCH. A warning was placed on the mare's barrier record.
GEORGIE ZUKOV - broke at the start losing considerable ground.
DOCTOR TIM - hampered in the early stages.
ROCKNROLL KING - raced roughly at various stages throughout. Driver J Dunn reported that because of this he had not activated the gelding's shorteners and he would be effecting gear changes.
RAH DE RAH - raced wide early stages.
SAGWITCH - checked and broke shortly after the start. Paced roughly after 100 metres when jumping a track marker after being placed in restricted room.
Race 5   GARY FYFE PAINTERS SUMMER TROTTING FREE-FOR-ALL (MOB TROT)
SPLASH COLA - when spoken to regarding the improved performance, trainer R Todd and driver R Close both advised the mare had been racing without luck and had been assisted by the good draw and reasonable run throughout tonight.
DIDJABRINGTHEBEERS - held up final bend.
ENHANCE YOUR CALM - broke briefly passing the 850 metres and lost ground. Weakened near the 400 metres. When spoken to regarding the gelding's performance, driver and co-trainer N Rasmussen felt her horse may have been unsuited to the fast early sectionals however was still disappointed with its efforts. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to have a poor recovery.
KINGS LANDING - trotted roughly and lay inwards over the final 1000 metres. Driver T Williams reported he would be recommending a boring pole be added to the gelding's gear.
VALLORIA - pre-race warmed. When spoken to regarding the gelding's performance, driver J Dunn advised he had been disappointed with the efforts of his gelding. A post-race veterinary examination including an endoscope revealed mucus in the trachea consistent with the early signs of a lung infection. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance.
WAR MACHINE - broke for approx 40 metres passing the 150 metres.
PRES THE BELLE - over-raced for a short distance passing the 1200 metres. Trotted roughly and lay outwards leaving the final bend and continued to do so throughout the final straight despite the efforts of driver G Smith.
MAJESTIC HURRICANE - broke briefly in the early stages of the score up and was well back from the unruly position at the start. Held up final bend.
Race 6   PGG WRIGHTSON NZ SALES SERIES FILLIES FINAL (MOB PACE)
SHE'S A DAGG - weakened final bend.
HERESLOOKINGATYOU - over-raced rounding the first bend.
SPELLBOUND - paced roughly when improving wide near the 900 metres and broke hampering trailing runners and losing ground. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a large ulcer present in the ventral epiglottis. The connections were advised to have the filly evaluated by their stable veterinarian in the coming days.
MAHARANI - trainer M Kerr was issued a warning for presenting the filly with an anti-choke device which had not been notified. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 900 metres.
WOMAN IN GOLD - held up between the 600 metres and the 400 metres by a weakening runner.
GEMMA MAC - pre-race warmed. Hampered by a breaking runner near the 900 metres.
PLUTONIUM LADY - raced wide early stages.
LULU LE MANS - out of position at the candy pole. Driver M Jones was issued with a warning.
Stable representative J Dunn advised Stewards on 20 February that SPELLBOUND has been treated for an ulcer since competing at Addington last week and will have a brief freshen up before resuming.
Race 7   CANTERBURY PRINT SERVICE SUMMER CUP (MOBILE PACE)
AVEROSS RUSTLER - weakened from the 800 metres.
CAST NO SHADOW - weakened final bend. When questioned regarding the performance, driver B Orange advised the horse was not suited to the fast overall speed of the race. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
JAZZY STAR - over-raced when leading through the middle stages.
BETTATHANFAST - pre-race warmed. Over-raced in the early stages. Raced wide from the 800 metres.
HEISENBERG - weakened from the 800 metres. When spoken to regarding the gelding's performance, driver J Dunn could only advise he had been very disappointed with its efforts. Stewards will follow up with connections in the coming days.
VINTAGE CHEDDAR - out of position at the start. Driver B Williamson was issued a $100 Minor Infringement Notice. Held up final bend.
Stable representative J Dunn advised Stewards on 20 February that a scope taken from HEISENBERG following its disappointing performance at Addington last week revealed no abnormalities with the gelding now having a brief freshen up before resuming.
Race 8   MASTER CLEANING SERVICE LIMITED HANDICAP TROT
JUSTAN'S SISTER - hampered by a breaking runner in the home straight and broke near the 100 metres.
MOMENTOUS - weakened final bend.
ALADDIN SANE - broke at the start.
FAR FROM TRUE - broke near the 150 metres.
OVERZEALOUS - began awkwardly then trotted roughly through the early stages. Over-raced middle stages.
MAJESTIC CHEVRON - over-raced middle stages.
DOFF YOUR CAP - broke at the start. Placed on the unruly for future standing starts at the trainer's request.
SUNDONS FLYER - over-raced middle stages. Held up final bend and in the early stages of the home straight.
ONE APOLLO - raced wide early stages.
Race 9   PGG WRIGHTSON NZ STANDARDBRED BREEDERS STAKES (MOB PACE)
IVANA FLYBYE - hung inwards in the early stages of the home straight and raced inside several track markers. Driver G Smith will be spoken to regarding this in the coming days. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a cut on the near fore heel.
PRINCESS TIFFANY - weakened final bend. Stewards questioned driver N Rasmussen regarding her decision to not pressure her runner in the early stages and look to take up the lead after having done so successfully at the mare's previous start against a similar field. Ms Rasmussen explained that tonight's race was 2600 metres as opposed to her previous start being 1980 metres and she did not believe the horse would be suited to working hard in the early stages to obtain the lead with the extra distance. Ms Rasmussen also advised she felt the mare may have choked down after racing keenly. A post-race veterinary examination indicated the mare may have fibrillated during the running. Stood down pending a veterinary clearance including an ECG which co-trainer N Rasmussen advised they would have completed, and blood tests taken, in the coming days with the results being notified to Stewards.
WAINUI CREEK - driver S Phelan admitted a breach of Rule 869(2) in that he used his whip on more occasions than permitted by Clause (b) of the Use of Whip Regulations inside the final 400 metres. After hearing penalty submissions, the JCA suspended Mr Phelan's licence from the conclusion of racing on 21 February up to and including 29 February 2020 (3 days) and in addition imposed a fine of $500.
SWEET MARY - hung inwards in the score up and was out of position at the start. Hung inwards and broke after 150 metres checking inside runners. Stood down pending one satisfactory mobile trial. Continued to hang inwards during the running and proved difficult for driver M Williamson. Over-raced middle stages.
BETTOR'S HEART - raced wide early stages.
I'MALLABOUTTHEBASE - raced wide early stages.
MOSSDALE ART - held up early stages of the run home.
MILLWOOD MAIZIE - checked after 150 metres losing ground.
PRESSED FOR TIME - checked and broke after 150 metres losing ground. Held up in the early and middle stages of the run home. Had to be restrained near the 100 metres when in restricted racing room.
ENCHANTEE - checked after 150 metres losing ground.
The connections of PRINCESS TIFFANY advised Stewards on 17 February that the mare has recovered well following its performance last week with a clear ECG being produced to enable her to continue with her current campaign.
Race 10   HRS CONSTRUCTION MOBILE PACE
THE GOVERNOR - held up early stages of the run home.
SCARED STIFF - held up final bend and in the early stages of the run home.
MISS DAYTONA - shifted outwards shortly after the start checking CHUBBY CHECKER. Driver J Geddes admitted driving carelessly in this incident and after penalty submissions, the JCA suspended his driver's licence from the conclusion of racing tonight up to and including 25 February 2020 (4 days).
CHUBBY CHECKER - checked and broke shortly after the start losing its chance.
CLOUD NINE - held up final bend and in the early stages of the run home.
DIAMOND PARTY - weakened final bend. A post-race veterinary examination revealed a high heart rate. Trainer M Purvis reported he would have blood tests taken in the coming days and notify Stewards of the results.
ELO LOUISE - out of position at the start. Driver R Close was issued with a warning.
SOUTHERLY CHANGE - held up early stages of the run home,
SAGANO - held up final bend.
GLENLEDI CHIEF - over-raced middle stages.
STEEL THE SHOW - hampered in the early stages.
Trainer M Purvis advised Stewards on 19 February that DIAMOND PARTY has been treated for mild anaemia since racing at Addington last Friday. Mr Purvis added that the filly has pleased him this week and will race at Invercargill on Friday without a pacifier.
